I don't know what the food was like before, but clearly what is happening on the plate has been elevated well above "okay, but nothing special". As usual when I travel, I dined with a group. While I very much enjoy the company of others, I also like being able to try taste more dishes, especially when I go somewhere for the first time. That allowed me to swoon over the hamachi crudo, crab cake (a favorite in general), lobster tail (very creative), the bacon mac & cheese, the king salmon, and the carrot cake (another favoriote).
