I've been to a few Nothing Bundt cake places and haven't been impressed. I decided to try the new one here in Harlingen and the little personal bundt (strawberry) that I purchased wasn't fresh. The texture was as though it came frozen and it was rancid tasting. I'll stick to Gloria's! Ladies in the shop were nice and attentive. I've come here a couple times to buy my favorite bundt cake - white chocolate raspberry. The service is great and the store is always kept clean, with plenty of space for customers to look around. I have to give them a special shout-out, because recently they hosted the 1:11 Oreo giveaway, and the service was perfect. The store was very prepared for this giveaway. They printed out vouchers ahead of time and pre-routed a queue outside. As soon as the doors opened, the line moved quickly. They prepackaged the cakes ahead of time and sectioned off two corners of the store to hand out the cakes. I was soooo impressed with the service that day. It stands out to me, especially in a city like McAllen. Very happy with my experience. read more

This place has got it FIGURED OUT. It's such a big chain so I always kind of blow it off in my mind as sort of a middle tier cake place but the cakes are delicious and the inside is nicely decorated and super clean. Today I came by for a "free Oreo cake" to the first 111 guests starting at 1:11. I got there around 12:50 and was the 40th person in line. Exactly at 1:11 the line starts moving rapidly and they have someone at the front door greeting you and ushering you to two counters with people set up with cakes already wrapped in bags, in exchange for your ticket with your number. The whole thing moved so quickly and efficiently. Super impressed with this, as these types of promos are usually sooo inefficient and slow and painful. We moved to the side after picking up our cakes and there was someone ready at a cash register to also take our order for another cake, and it didn't disrupt the flow at all. I'm pretty sure they got all 111 people their cakes in like 5 minutes. Bravo can't wait to come back. read more

Love it! I went in to get my birthday bundt cake, I wanted to try the new churro dulce de leche since it was only for limited time, and I was so happy to know that they had some available and got 1 and a white chocolate raspberry bundtlet for my daughter for national daughters day, all I can say, is that they never disappoint! Both were really good but I really enjoyed my churro bundtlet! It was delicious, great flavor, moist and just overall delicious! I am anxious to go back and hopefully get another one before they stop making them on 10/8. Great customer service! Very friendly, just an overall great place! Thank you! read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a bakery mainly for desserts. My wife wanted something chocolatey, and you can't say no when a woman asks for chocolates. We drove about 6 miles from where we were to reach the location. It's conveniently located in a shopping center area and next to a Chipotle restaurant, which doesn't sell dessert itself. There is a small outdoor seating area and indoors it's mostly just to order and walk out. They do make custom cakes if you order ahead and you can mass order, as our school ordered bundt cakes from here for our staff. My wife wasn't satisfied with her chocolate craving, as she hoped for, but she enjoyed what she ate. I ordered a red velvet bundt cake. It was ok. What slightly disappointed me was that I asked for a chocolate milk, which is what I like to order at bakeries to enjoy my pastry, but they said they sell no such thing. I feel some sort of lactose needs to be sold at bakeries to chug down delicious pastries. Other than that, it's a good place to eat dessert if you are in the area, but I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way for it. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! It's like these people don't even want to make money! I can't believe how heartless they were. I ordered nearly a week ago an order for pick-up because the delivery fee to the hotel ACROSS THE STREET was $15. Today I found out that the person picking up has been exposed to Covid and unable to leave their hotel room so I asked for them to deliver it now (I was willing to pay) and they said NO. They refused to work with me and would rather me cancel my order than deliver 20 feet across the street to the hotel. Thanks for ruining the Christmas treat I had planned. Despicable. read more

One critique would be is to offer your guests utensils to eat their bundtlets. They offer you small individual treats to go but nothing to eat it with. I love this place. I've been following it even before it came to the RGV. I cannot give it 5 stars however. This is because of the manager. She is rude, crass, and cold to her employees in front of customers. This is unacceptable. Employees need to be trained and corrected but not in the manner in which she does it. I've encountered her attitude on two different occasions to the store. Both times she was the same ugly attitude. No one should demean or belittle their employees.
