Was here last week for drinks with friends. First time at a real bar with a real bartender since last year in March - when Covid first shut the universe down. Felt good being at a real bar. Amazing how such routine activities can be sorely missed if taken away for an extended period. I know chain restos catch hell often especially from real foodies lol. It's almost like you've INSULTED them to even suggest one. Personally, I don't mind chains occasionally. The key is picking the right menu items. Some things chains do well. Others, not so much. I think Chili's makes a good burger, for example. Juicy. Wings are desirable too...and of course, the drinks (pre-measured alcohol and all) do the trick. We needed a bar that was open for business and Chili's turned out to be it. *shrugs* The bar and the laminated menus were a li'l "sticky" lol...and isn't that fairly common for chains too though? Our bartender was as attentive as possible considering she was also responsible for a few tables as well. Staffing issues apparently. She was very friendly and engaging nonetheless. I didn't eat this time but rather had margaritas only. The blackberry one is good. Same with the mango one. $5 each and decently potent. I had a couple of each. Word of advice: JUST DO TAKEOUT I love Chili's and this is one of the only ones left in the areas so I thought I'd dine it. We were sat down after about 2 mins and no one ever came to the table after 15 min. We got up and left. The service at this location is absolutely horrible. You order something to go and go to pick it up and the lady at the phone counter. Doesn't even look up and say anything at you for five minutes you ask one of the bartenders if they can get your order and they tell you it has to be done on a computer Then the so-called manager walked up and handed two orders to people that were standing behind me before she gave me mine. When I asked her about it, she said that somebody was packing up my order yet it was sitting right on the shelf and it had been for the last five minutes when I asked if she was the manager, she said yes, and a real sarcastic tone and told me that she runs a tight ship I said, how can that be if you have people that won't even acknowledge customer standing in front of them. She just looked at me and said goodbye, sir. Goodbye sir. You want to experience what poor management skills are like you go to this chilies. It is textbook on how horrible the customer service is here. This place deserves a 0. We arrived at 11:30 am, 30 minutes after opening. Filthy, Filthy, Filthy. We were walked to our table for 9 and the floor was very greasy and slippery. The tables were sticky and dirty. We asked for the table to be cleaned and the waitress was bothered. The area smelled like the bathroom and we all decided we had to get up and go elsewhere. There was no way in hell I was going to let that kitchen cook my food. My co-worker said the bathroom was also disgusting. Will never return. Health department needs to pay them a visit. read more

My party of 3 went to this Chili's today. We walked in behind another family that was waiting at the hostess stand. The restaurant had about 3 tables with customers. Since no one was at the hostess stand, we went into the bar that had no customers, but 4 employees. I asked if we could sit in the bar area and she said to ask the hostess. We Went back to hostess stand where the other family was still waiting. Finally, the hostess showed up and told the other family it was at least a 35 minute wait. That family left. I then asked the hostess if we could sit in the bar area. She said, "No." There was no explanation and as to why the bar area was closed or why such a long wait since the restaurant was practically empty The family behind me left also. read more

One of our coworkers went to go pick it up and half our order was missing, food was dry and looked microwaved, and tasted very bland. I ordered carry out from Chili's at 4pm on Saturday and picked up at 5. They were finishing putting the order together when I got there and it was all hot and everything was good. I had the fajitas, one person had ribs and one had the grilled chicken salad and chili. She didn't like the chili, it has a good smokey flavor. We also got cheesecake and a cookie/ice cream thing. My daughter called ahead and asked if there was wait time, someone said 15 minutes and pretended to put us on the waiting list. We get there, no list. Fine. Then the hostess says there's a wait until 5:30 (time is now 4:40) because that's when the next shift gets in. We waited until 5:30 and the entire place is empty except staff who are ignoring us. Hostess finally comes and says there's a wait. I asked why??? It's empty. She say's because the next shift hasn't come yet. Its 5:45pm! Worst experience i have ever had at a chili's... my bf & i were sat instantly, then we waited 15+ minutes for our waitress to even approach us. I would've understood if it was busy, but it was very slow. We let it go & decided to give another chance, we then put in our drink orders & appetizers in, our appetizer came out before our drinks, nor did our waitress bring us our appetizer. when we finally got our food, it came out cold. This is the worst managed restaurant I've seen. The staff is fine most of the time but last Saturday was the final straw. We will not be going back. My wife and I went there around 5pm on Saturday. There was a line of couples waiting and no one at the greeter stand. After waiting 15 minutes someone finally came. He said it would be at least a 30 minute wait. We looked around and the restaurant was almost empty. I asked why it would be so long and he said they only had one server in the entire restaurant. What kind of manager allows that to happen? This is unfortunately one of many instances where it is clear the management of this restaurant is sorely lacking basic management skills. It's more than just the one time. In support of all the restaurants (Brandywine/Waldorf appear to have more chains than locals) during the pandemic, I placed an online order here for a quick light dinner. The ordering process was easy peasy and the venue sends text reminders about your order. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. When I arrived, my food was promptly delivered curbside. Unfortunately the quesadilla was disappointing. It was on the salty side, limited cheese, and the flavors were not for me. Thinking I could "fix it up a bit", I turned to the side of pico. This review is for "It's just Wings" which is apparently located inside of Chili's. First, I placed the order on Doordash for pickup. My order showed ready and when I arrived, I waited 30 minutes to get my food! Moving on.....I ordered a 44 piece boneless wings. What I received looked like they were thrown in a box and someone drizzled sauce over them. Some of my wings are absolutely naked! There was no effort put into preparing my food! Can't forget about the fries that appear to have been prepared hours ago because they don't have a simmer of hotness whatsoever! You don't go to Chili's expecting a fine dining experience. It's a chain with a lot of options, and you go with that expectation. That being said, me and my friends had a great experience for dinner last night - primarily due to our awesome waiter DJ. He was attentive, accommodating, and helpful. One of my friends is pregnant and asked about a virgin daiquiri. While he said they do not have those on the menu, he personally went to see what he could do and came back with one for us. Great service! Food wise - my Tito's margarita was really good, as was my guacamole burger. From my friends reviews, the fajitas were good (but the steak was overlooked). Tonight I attempted to have dinner at Chili's in Waldorf Maryland. What I experienced was the worst customer service ever. After checking in at the hostess stand we are taken to a table 2 feet from the stand. So far so good. 5 minutes go by. We see servers going to other tables but no one visits ours. 5 more minutes, not a menu, offer of water , not a statement of "I'll be right with you", nothing. 5 more minutes go by. Finally the waitress stops by as if nothing has happened. We have seen her pass our table at least 5 times. We immediately ask for the manager. He stops by the table. He already knows what the complaint is and he says "I saw you guys when you came in". We tell him how we saw workers just standing around and show him a picture taken of one employee texting at the hostess stand while other customers wait to be acknowledged. We explain we wanted to express our dissatisfaction and that we will take our business elsewhere. He insists we stay and says the meal is on him. He apologizes and insists. We reluctantly stay. It goes further down hill after that. We place our order. 5 minutes go by. Waitress returns, sorry kitchen says we are out of soup. They seem to be out of soup all of a sudden. 5 minutes later, a waitress comes over and says did you take a picture of me at the hostess stand? 1. She was not at the hostess stand once since we entered. 2. The manager was shown a picture of a male employee texting at the stand. We go over to speak to the manager. The manager must be spineless evidently when it comes to the employees. When he left our table he implied he would talk to the employee about being on his phone. When the employee confronts him, he now has an issue with the photo being taken of the employee. He now says you took a picture of an employee in the store, you need to leave . Instead of controlling his employees and the image they project to customers. He seems to take their lead. Chili's will never ever see me nor my family's patronage again. read more

OMG!!! Ghetto is an understatement!!! I will never patronize this Chili's in Waldorf again! There was a customer swearing and using the N word loudly (Mexican customer)! Not a single restaurant employee tried to reprimand the customer or make him leave until i requested to speak to the manager and made them aware of the customers intolerable remarks and conduct. There was a customer in the restroom passed out due to being intoxicated. I could almost swear that the bartender was high on cocaine they way she was flying around the bar. We went here for lunch I ordered a reindeer martini it was super sweet and not good. We also had an appetizer I loved the spicy tortilla wraps. We shared chicken and steak fajitas. When they came out it was good but the tortillas were dry and they only gave us two. The waiter was super nice and got us more. Overall the food was average but our server was awesome. read more
