Comes with two buttermilk pancakes, hash browns, shelled eggs (must request shelled and scrambled), and two strips of bacon and sausage. I was so hungry I did not capture any images today. With mine I requested to sub my buttermilk pancakes for their multigrain pancakes which are higher in fiber, for an additional $0.89. However when our food came, my sub pancakes didn't come. In fact they never came. We had finished all of our food, me minus my pancakes bc I was waiting for the multigrain. And our waitress, Bianca, was sooooo kind. She came over and apologized on behalf of the kitchen that they completely forgot about my pancakes. And maybe bc I'm pregnant, not sure. She told me that she went ahead and covered our whole bill on the house! And the pancakes are being made now and should be done shortly for us to take to go. I was so thankful! How sweet! Especially after our last experience at the Chinese restaurant who had hard plastic like glass in our soups and they were only going to offer 10% off!!! Here, they forgot my pancakes and comped our whole meal! And then when she brought the pancakes she didn't just bring one order. She brought three orders! So we got a total of 6 multigrain pancakes to go to enjoy tomorrow. Absolutely grateful the way Bianca and staff helped take care of us today. We made sure to give her a nice tip showing our appreciation and we will definitely be back, and request Bianca to be our waitress. By the way, the food was made fresh, was yum, and I'd definitely choose this place over IHOP any day. (We thought to go there at first) Also if you become a member, as a thank you, they offer you a free dessert and stack of pancakes on the house. Overall, loved the vibe and ambiance, loved the service, enjoyed the food and loved the hospitality on a Sunday, even with it being busy. I highly recommend!

One server trying to do everything and deal with having to tell all these customers that they should basically go somewhere else without really saying it, and compromising her own income. I feel for her. The menu is greatly reduced, and a huge disappointment. The diner is too dark for this clientele, dark brown ceiling tiles, poor lighting, nasty ass walls. I am looking around trying to find a positive, and other than our server busting her ass here until she finds something better, I see nothing good. Most tables, including us, are Seniors who chose Denny's with minimal expectations, yet somehow still extremely disappointed. We walked in and made note of the few customers that are here; now we know why. I am not even going to say anything negative about our server, she is playing the hand she is dealt, but I will say that this Denny's should just shut it's doors. Don't franchise owners have to maintain some sort of corporate standards? I heard a bunch of Paneras closed here in the Houston area because the franchise owners were not maintaining the corporate standards, to put it mildly., I feel this Denny's is the same way and the corporate Denny's should do something. Maybe this franchise doesn't operate that way, or Maybe corporate doesn't care. The owners definitely don't care. I haven't even touched on the food, I ordered a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Hubby ordered the superbird with fries. At this point , I have zero expectations. I just learned our server is ' Miss T". I learned this because there's.... Get this, another employee sitting in the booth directly behind us. He's been there the entire time, I didn't even realize he was an employee. He is VAPING. Miss T is clearly annoyed that she is running around and he is sitting at a booth enjoying a very extended break. And vaping. That really is the last straw for me. My husband cleaned his plate, the meat on the sandwich was really skimpy, but that didn't surprise us. Don't order the CFS here, it's gross. This has been our go to neighborhood place for a quick margarita and some Mexican food. We have…read moregotten to know the staff pretty well. We haven't been in a long time so we stopped for a quick bite. Service was still very good although we didn't recognize anyone we knew, except who we assume is the manager/bartender. The service team is always very attentive, I order a fish entrée that comes in a cream sauce with mushrooms and shrimp. I have ordered it many times but the last two times it has been served smothered in peppers and onions. Peppers and onions are not in the description on the menu. And as I said, I've had it many times the correct way. I have nothing against peppers and onions, except that I don't want them on my fish. We keep trying to explain to them that the chef should not be adding things to dishes, particularly if someone maybe allergic to those ingredients. This last visit I specifically told the waiter make sure the chef does not put any peppers and onions on this dish but sure enough the fish came with huge quarter inch strips of pepper sticking out of it. I was so pissed off so my husband asked for a new plate. The waiter brought back the exact same plate in which someone had just grabbed all the peppers they could see and pulled them out of my dish. Not very appetizing after that and all you had to do was move the shrimp and the cheese to find six or seven more peppers. My husband literally took the plate and the menu to the server and said to make it exactly as it is on the menu. They brought my plate back out which was absolutely the fish that I had taken a couple bites from just stripped of all the toppings and fresh toppings put on it. Needless to say, I left it on the table and we left. The manager witnessed my plate going back two times and never even came over to find out what was going on. In fact, when we left, he was eating fajitas at the bar with a customer. Needless to say we will not be returning which is a shame because we really enjoyed our little local spot. Never claimed it to be the best food but the service was always so excellent it kept us coming back. And to be given such a lame excuse to say, the chef does what he wants, particularly when you ask for those things specifically not to be added. Not a good game plan. That was not a good sign. We sat down with the food which to be fair looked pretty good. The stuffed baked potato was good. The sliced brisket was way too salty for our taste. The potato salad was good and so was the sausage. after mentioning it to the manager about the brisket, he did rectify the problem and brought over some center sliced, which was Much better. Banana pudding was just ok. It is a cute little place but it's not close to us. I hope that the kitchen takes the couple suggestions with lighter salt on the brisket and scrap the Mac and cheese and start over with a new recipe.

While some of the toppings and sauces were enjoyable, I found many of the shrimp to be overcooked. The Coconut Shrimp had a nice sweetness but was dry, and the Alfredo was noticeably salty. The coleslaw tasted off and wasn't something I could finish. I was also surprised by the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I'd heard people rave about them, but they were just okay in my opinion and didn't live up to the hype. One disappointment was that they ran out of Walt's Famous Shrimp at around 6:30 PM, which seemed odd considering it's one of their signature items. Unfortunately, we were unable to try it.
