Service was poor. I asked the waiter if they celebrate and seeing happy birthday they told me yes I told him it was my daughter's birthday and they ignored us. Half the time we were there they never came in her happy birthday and the only time they came to our table was when they seen me stopped eating the waiter lid the check back and said have a great day. 10 out of 10 I do not recommend food. Order my food had the order number proof I paid wouldn't let me have my food or a refund. Told me I could leave and someone would call me. I don't have all day to wait I had my 6month son and his father waiting in the car. Nice ambiance. The waitresses that were there, didn't speak english well. I personally speak a little spanish and can get get through a food order etc but my husband, does not. He was asking what came in a particular burrito and she didn't understand. It was funny watching them trying to communicate. However, it is also concerning. Service was also not the best. Good service. Seated and served quickly. Unfortunately, I have rarely tasted food that bland in a restaurant, much less a Mexican restaurant! My enchiladas tasted like the meat had not been seasoned at all! I ordered the sour cream sauce because the other choices were likely not gluten-free. I expected a fairly bland sauce. We love Los Arcos Mexican restaurant in Tomball. They have the best margaritas in town. And also the best beef tacos. The taco shells are always so fresh and crispy. I don't know how they do that! You'll get plenty of liquor in your margarita, too. Very nice staff and excellent service. We go multiple times every month. read more

My husband and I had dinner at their 28th anniversary celebration Wednesday and everything was delicious! The place was already busy when we arrived, with live music and yummy food. The staff did an outstanding job keeping things moving. Their chips and salsa were very good. I ordered mixed fajitas with bacon. My husband had the beef fajita enchilada plate. It was all cooked perfectly. The beef was so tender and well seasoned. Complimentary small margaritas were also offered with the meals for the celebration and they were hands down some of the best, very well made. The food, drinks and staff are all outstanding! If you're planning on coming here for a traditional margarita, do not come here. The food is average to good, but the margaritas need a more work! I never ever make reviews but I specifically came here for a strong drink. As soon as I tasted my strawberry margarita, it was like sipping hot strawberry purée (It's a frozen margarita). My grandma told the waitress that we both couldn't taste any liquor and she said we could purchase a shot to add to it. I just agreed because I'm not going to argue over a 8$ margarita plus a 5$ shot. My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by this restaurant when we went here for lunch. I had the beef flautas off the lunch menu. They were hands down the best I've ever had. These aren't your regular frozen flautas...made with fresh, homemade tortillas, lots of grilled beef and omg they were so lite and delicious! I also had their coconut Margareta that tasted just like a pina colada, only better. They have tons of menu items, happy hour specials, and a fun environment. Our waitress was also very sweet and checked on us many times. We will be coming back here again soon. read more

I'm confused how this place is rated so poorly. I have only been here twice, but both times the food was great and the service was great. Even came here super late on a Sunday probably right before the kitchen closed and the staff was super nice and our food arrived fast. Their margaritas are pretty good too. The food is always good. No complaints about the food or service. The house margaritas are good. The ambiance is Tex-Mex Dive. The bar area is non-smoking on Saturday and Sunday. The volume on the TVs are turned way down (that's a good thing). My favorite Tex-Mex in Tomball. read more

The service was prompt. The house margarita is very good and strong! That was the highlight of my visit. I ordered the El Pequeño combo plate which comes with 1 cheese puff, 1 taco, 1 enchilada, rice and beans. The cheese puff, taco and beans were good. The enchilada was too salty and the rice had too much of a certain seasoning (chili pepper? Tasted kinda like it was seasoned with Lucas) that it was just overpowering. Enchiladas and rice are some of the most simplest things to make so I'm disappointed in regards to those two. I'd come back for the margarita. I wouldn't come back for the food alone. read more

Update: I was contacted by the Harris County Health Department that claimed that they have done an inspection and that Los Arcos is aware of the situation.. but the inspector didn't leave a contact number for me to return her call... I wonder how much Los Arcos paid her to look the other way? Seems a bit shady but I know that this is typical business in the industry. It won't change my review one bit!! ROACHES ARE DISGUSTING!! EXTERMINATE AND DO IT FREQUENTLY!!! There is no excuse for it to say, "Well it is because we are in a strip center and they are coming from the other tenants." That is BS. Roaches come from unsanitary conditions and they feed in your operation. I will certainly never eat at your restaurant again. Have this happen to more of your customers and you will close your doors due to lack of business... I promise you!! That's when we figured out this place is official. The drinks tasted amazing and fresh. You'll get chips and salsa that's on point. We ordered lunch burrito and enchilada di carbon. Both dishes came with rice and beans. The first thing we noticed was the appearance of the meals. It had a traditional look to it. But once we had our first bite, it was like a home cooked meal as if a mother was cooking in the back. We have been to quite a few Mexican restaurant chains and they just simply can not compete. The ingredients used are 100% fresh and cooked to order - not pre made or has been sitting. If you want to skip away from those big chain restaurants, this place is a no brainer. Friendly staff, they where not constantly asking if we needed something. They let us eat. But they came every now and then for refills. Food was good. I had the chicken fajitas. Iced tea is fresh and I love it! So refreshing. Oh and I loved the green salsa Quiet. We wanted to try this place despite what reviews said. 1st thing first there was a funny old smell as we sat down. Place is very outdated and in dire need of Update, Good scrubbing, airfreshner and cleaner more readable menus. Granted Lunch menu is tempting..but for $7.50 I got a very very mediocre plate. Chips were tasty and salsa was served warm and tasted good. Not Great but Good. The number one turn off was the Smell of someone obviously smoking. We we sat in 1st dining room by wall I assume which was next to bar and I'm not a Smoker and I DO NOT appreciate having to smell Cigarettes or inhale 2nd hand smoke. My plate was Taco so Carbon n Beef Flauta. Flaunts tasted of Old oil. Taco was skimpy and the simplest side of only lettuce tomato, rice was pretty but to dry no beans??What? No nothing to dip my Flaunts! Seriously I THINK I should have gave less star..but our Waiter was Nice and Smiled! We had soda and Iced tea which tasted fine. Glasses looked old and grimy.
