Went to eat last night around 8:00. We were seated next to the kitchen entrance. We waited and waited and no server. Finally the hostess walked by. We asked to be moved because of the noise from the kitchen. She just gave us a blank stare and then walked into the kitchen. That is is when we decided to just leave. Absolutely horrible service. Actually no service. Everyone seemed more concerned about cleaning the area that had been closed off than serving what few customers that were seated in the restaurant. I will never go back. Very very good experience here tonight! It was incredibly busy but our server, Lisa, made every effort to attend to us, despite having so many tables to serve. She made immense effort to provide us with excellent service & she definitely made the evening. We got everything in a timely manner, all cooked well. Chicken crispers on point, as expected. I'd read some concerning reviews about the fajitas but husband wanted them anyways. Only complaint was the rice was pretty awful... dry, cooked poorly & crazy salty. However, overall, we were very happy with our experience & our service was truly fantastic especially for a busy Friday dinner rush. read more

I've always really liked Chili's and it's a quick and easy spot to get good food! We came tonight for a Birthday dinner and the food was taking unusually long and our waitress and the manager came over to let us know that something happened and our food was never rang in, both the manager and the waitress were super nice about the situation. They offered us two appetizers and a dessert for free to compensate for the long wait which we appreciated. We spent probably an hour and a half there but honestly it was a good experience. The only reason why i'm not leaving 5 stars is because this Chili's seems understaffed, regardless of this particular situation, our waitress looked overwhelmed and was running from table to table. However, in general it was a fine experience and I was glad that the manager was able to resolve the problem we had. read more

I used to come to this place VERY OFTEN service was great manager cared about customers. However , did not come to this location for over two year due to numerous bad service and inconsistency on a food. Felt like they hire guys from probation on temporary basis . Today, it was unreasonable wait time in bar area : About 12 mins to bring menu; About 40 mins for appetizers; After appetizer, another 20 mins for entry.... Seriously? Yuck. Everything from the drinks to the appetizer to the meals was bad. My niece and I ordered strawberry lemonades and they were super watered down and flavorless. It was as if someone got a real strawberry lemonade, drank 3/4 of it and then they filled the rest up with water and gave it to us. I ordered the steak with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli and everything was cold and flavorless. My niece had hair in her pasta. If you're going to order from Chili's, don't do it thru DoorDash (I only did that because I had a DoorDash gift card). If there is an issue with your food, they won't take responsibility for it. The garlic butter was missing from my steak, the steak was dry, and the steamed broccoli still had a raw broccoli texture. I submitted feedback on the Chili's website and received a response that my feedback had been shared with the Director of Operations and the restaurant, but that they have a "unique arrangement" with DoorDash, and I needed to go thru them for a refund. I was offered a $5 DoorDash credit on a $25 order. While I understand payment was thru a 3rd party, Chili's was the one that made the food. If I had ate at the restaurant, it would have been addressed. My original feedback was sent almost 2 weeks ago, and I never did hear from anyone at the restaurant regarding my meal. read more

Honestly chili's has some pretty tasty stuff for a cheaper priced restaurant. we basically had two samplers here and some kids meals. It was hit or miss with a nice server who just wasn't the most professional. The Good -Short wait -ribs were pretty good. they have a good number of sauce options and they come out tender. -fries were decent. crisp outside and soft inside, but did have a hint of frozen fries taste. -Street Corn was good -kids pizza was good- -The kids fruit was good. got them pineapples and mandarin oranges. They gave us a good amount and tasty as expected with no problems. My husband and I went to Chili's on Bell Rd. in Surprise this evening. We had called ahead and put our name on the list. When we arrived, we were third in line but saw there were seats open in the bar so we chose to sit there. A couple that had been waiting became irate because the host and hostess told them that "bar seating was open" and they thought that meant only the seats around the bar. I assume this is a scam this couple does often in order to ask for a manager and make a scene in order to get a free meal... That is the only explanation as EVERY CHAIN RESTAURANT IN THE US allows for OPEN seating at the bar INCLUDING tables and booths. Therefore, if this couple can catch a host and hostess on the semantics of their word choice, they can become disburingly irate and get free food. If THIS wasn't awful enough to begin with. As they were taken to their seats in the bar, the man under his breath used an offensive and derogatory term to refer to the host and hostess. A despicable and unacceptable term used against African American. The fact the manager was made aware of this and ALLOWED THIS COUPLE TO REMAIN IN THE RESTAURANT for the entirety of their meal is atrocious and unacceptable!! My husband and I, along with other tables in the area were appalled. NO person should have to be called that and continue to have to be around individuals like that. read more

Chili's is a favorite stop of mine for lunch, it's a great budget friendly spot for some good eats and a great Margherita! Specifically the must haves are the chicken enchilada soup, El Niño Margherita and there avocado chicken club. I will tell you I had one bad experience here with a gentle who works the bar at nights. He not only missed putting in our dinner order but our to go order as well! This was extremely frustrating. However because we are regulars and receive superb service from Beth and Danielle on every trip. I could not give this location any less than 5 stars. read more

We went here today for lunch and joined the waiting list ahead of time. We know they always have lines so this definitely speeds things up. Upon walking in were 2 girls at the hostess station that looked at us. No greetings or hello nothing. After looking back at their computer and talking for a few more minutes then finally addressed us by saying 2? I really find this not only annoying but rude. I come from a family whose parents owned several restaurants and food establishments and this would've never happened. We have seen the past few times at Chili's that they are lacking in the customer service department. I will say our waitress was nice and we were happy with her. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken chipotle crispers. I am part of their loyalty club so we did get free chips and salsa. We ordered the guacamole which is good today it was not chopped up as well as it usually is so that was unexpected. We also tried the onion petals for the first time and they were delicious. They had a light seasoning on them served with a side of ranch and now my new favorite appetizer here. My husband ordered a Tito's punch his usual go to drink here. We enjoyed our lunch and of course finished with dessert which included the cookie skillet. We like Chili's but again they need to step up the customer service and add some additional help for the waiters/waitresses we had our table full with empty plates that should've been taken as we kept stacking them towards the end of table to say hey we're done with these trying to make room for the rest of our food. read more

Incredibly unprofessional when it comes to hiring. Scheduled an interview, came in and was told it was too busy and I would receive a call to reschedule. Never got a call back, so I called. ONLY to have the manager tell me that they are collecting data for the next time they are hiring and that I can come in and request to talk to a leader.
