Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this Chili's restaurant....We stopped in for lunch about a week ago, it was very old, dilapidated. Our server was seriously trying to push drinks on us, and then she never came back until we asked for the check. The food was very overly greasy, and it was obvious the cook did not care about presentation. The floors and tables were not cared for, grimy dirty. The booth upholstery was torn, very lumpy uncomfortable. This is the second time I have received poor qualityfood i ordered the chicken avocado sandwich with bacon the avocado slices were not ripe and the chicken came cold it looks like the microwaved two chicken breasts and threw them on the soggy bun. What an awful experience. I'll start with the things that weren't such a big deal. First, I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas and received steak and chicken. Not such a big deal though, so I didn't mind and continued to eat. The steak was very over cooked and difficult to eat, so I set it aside and didn't eat it. Like I said though, I'm not that picky and didn't care much. However where things got bad was when we asked to have happy birthday to our friend. The server said yes, and then later in the night he asked one of the waitresses to do it. We heard her say "No way, I'm not f***ing doing it". He never ended up getting sang to . I still tipped 20% because she may have just been having a bad night, but we expect better service from Chilli's and are very disappointed. read more

The chili was just ground beef taco filling with a heap of tortilla strips and unmelted cheese. Caesar salad was caesar dressing drizzled across very wilted (like, gooey) greens and a handful of stale croutons stashed on a corner of a plate. My son got the grilled chicken dippers...with no dipping sauce? I know it's a chili's, but come on...it's already cheap, but the food isn't worth what they're charging, I think. Had dinner at this Chili's on 8/6/20 and wasn't impressed with the overall service. After waiting approximately 20-25 minutes for a table (to seat the 3 of us) we were not acknowledged by our server until 10 minutes after we sat down. Our server was friendly enough, but was not attentive at all. Despite only seeming to have 4 tables in his section (in the back near the kitchen & bathrooms) we rarely saw him throughout our meal. Once our food was delivered by a food runner, we had to flag the hostess down to ask for ketchup, drink refills, dipping sauces, napkins and extra silverware, since our waiter never came by to check on us after our food was delivered. He finally came by to check on us again, approximately 20 minutes AFTER our food was delivered! We noticed that the majority of the time we were seated, our server continuously hung out at the waiter station and seemed to be flirting and talking with the hostess. This was initially pointed out to me by the table seated diagonal from us that had tried getting our servers attention to pay their bill. I'm hoping that this is an issue with this server only and not an overall theme at this Chili's location. I think management should speak to their employees and remind them they're in the Customer Service Industry, not working for a dating service read more

Our mistake - doing take out on Mother's Day. Their mistake - getting the order completely wrong. And with it being takeout and we live no where near Chili's, we were kind of stuck with it. Food is good enough. We went early at 11am. They were not busy which makes the mediocre service not acceptable. I got the chicken fajitas. They had microwaved my three tortillas into oblivion. Being a fat guy and not one to wait or send food back, I got to work. The chicken and veggies were great. Waitress didn't come back for a good 15 minutes. That means I got no more tortillas. She asked If I needed more tortillas, but my plate was clearly empty. Good job on timing! My wife got the cheeseburger sliders, they were delicious and the fries were wonderful. My daughter and I just went here for dinner (8/25). We got here at 9:10 and almost immediately ordered. We got the $20 deal: cheese fries for appetizer, and baby back ribs and sirloin steak for the entrées. The server came by our table twice to tell us that our order is coming up. However, 25mins later, we still haven't gotten anything. It was so odd because there weren't too many customers to begin with. With how much workers they have, I thought they were going to take good care of us. Wrong. The server came by our table at 9:45 and told us that they haven't even started cooking our fries. I had the 3 appetizer deal tonight, and it was great!!! The one thing that I didn't like was that all of the TVs were on speed channel, but what can you do when you go there, and you know that they sell drinks during happy hour with the cars and sports??? I love this Chili's. Yes, i know it's a chain resturaunt, but the service is always good here. I love the El Nino Margaritas. The bartender's are always friendly and not to mention GOOD LOOKING GUY BARTENDERS. ^_^ Everytime i take my son with me to eat here, the waiters/waitresses are always so friendly to my son. This faithful 30 year Chili's customer had the worst experience ever and I will not be going back there... ever again. My family and I go in to have dinner, the waiter was great, took our order down quickly and got everything started. I, myself, ordered my fav of all time...Chicken Crispers with fries and corn, add extra RANCH (I use it with my crispers as well as the fries). The food arrives, nice and hot, everyone starts to eat and about 5 fries dipped in ranch later...I dip the fry, pull it out and a piece of pasta comes out with it. OMG! The first thing that comes to mind is: RECYCLED RANCH DRESSING! How many other fries were dipped into this ranch, fries that touched other peoples lips and saliva...ewww yuck! Disgusting! Horrific! Hell no! I call the waiter, explain what happened and he says he will send the manager over. The manager arrives, asked if we called him (instead of asking what the problem was) and I told him what I told the waiter. He asked if I wanted a new plate and I told him "No thank you. I lost my appetite". He says ok and walks away. Both of my children (10 and 3) see that momma stopped eating so they get upset and stopped eating too. I call the waiter, ask for the check and see that they deducted my plate so I swipe the card, no tip... even though the waiter was nice to us and we leave. The worst part aside from being served recycled ranch dressing is the managers lack of professionalism. Had he been a bit more concerned, I probably would not have even written this review. I honestly felt that he did not care what happened to the Mexicans...'why are they complaining'...I didn't want to turn my review into something discriminatory but that's the way I felt. My roommate and I decided last night to try their to go order system. It was great, easy to use web site and payment and they where ready exactly when they said they where. The young lady who brought our order out was awesome and the only complaint was missing items, no big deal didn't need french fries. I will definitely be using this service again, I had the most amazing sticky yummy chicken and waffles. The waffles were Belgian and OMG yummy! We also got some cheese curds and my buddy had shrimp tacos which he consumed so fast I though he only got 1 taco! I don't know what else to say about Chili's! I love love love their watermelon lemonade--it is by far the best lemonade I have ever tasted. Their lemonade is made fresh everyday and when they run out, they quickly make more. I personally love the 2 for $20 thing they have going on. It's wonderful and really is affordable (if you have another person that is lol). I stay simple and either get the chicken strips or the cajun chicken pasta which are both very good. I substitute the corn that comes with the chicken strips with extra fries because the fries there are good as well. It's a weird thing to write about but I have to comment on the ranch as well. The ranch is not the best ranch I've tasted, but it is still very very good. My boyfriend and I ordered desert here the last time we went and the desert is great too. The warm chocolate chip cookie in the pan along with the cold vanilla ice cream was yummy. The service is always good when we go to Chili's and needless to say it is our go to place when we have no idea where to go for dinner. read more

We hadn't eaten at Chili's in years. We were gifted a gift certificate over the holidays and decided to give it a try. We are hooked! It's our new place to dine at. The menu selection isn't overbearing. The chicken avocado sandwich is huge and flavorful. But my personal fav is the 6 oz. Classic Sirloin with Grilled Avocado. Yum! The prices are reasonable. It's been many years since I've been to Chilis. I went tonight with a group of friends. Mom had a coupon for Free Chips and Salsa/Queso/Guacamole, for downloading the Chilis app, so that was cool. We opted for the "queso" which was a gross mix of what tasted like Velveeta and canned chili. Sorry, but YUCK. We got salsa with it too and that was ok. For dinner I got one of their current Smokehouse Platters with chicken strips and ribs both with Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce, fries, and Mexican Style corn on the cob. The ribs were good. Tender, meaty, and the perfect amount t of sauce. The 3 chicken strips were small and sad. They really amounted to on full chicken strip. I almost asked for more because they were so small, but I didn't have the mental energy to deal with it. Mom had a 6oz Sirloin, Medium Rare with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. She said her steak was bland and rubbery. I could tell it wasn't gonna be good because when I saw it, there were no grill marks or a nice sear on it. I make a better steak at home on my grill! The other 5 people said there food was ok, nothing special. But it's Chilis, it's what we expect. Ok food at ok prices. Our server Amanda was AWESOME! Friendly, knowledgeable, fast, just an all sound great server! She was tipped VERY well! Thank you, Amanda! Overall, Chilis is just a run of the mill, mid level chain restaurant. I don't expect anything amazing when I come here, just an average experience which is what we got tonight. And that's ok, it's not necessarily a bad thing. We had a great time. I had my daughter and my nephew with us. I had the spicy shrimp tacos and my wife had a jalapeno margarita. She shared the jalapenos with me. They were very fresh and spicy I loved it. The kids had dessert and shared with both of us, and both dishes were very delicious. Our server's name was Rose. She had tattoos they were awesome and she provided excellent service. With the distraction of the tabletop touch screen video game I was a little distracted from the food for a moment which made me feel rushed a little when asked how my meal was after being served before I was even halfway through it. Never had such horrible service here as we did today. I went with my 2 daughter's, my grandson and then my husband joined us after about 30 minutes. We were sat immediately after arriving but no server came to greet us or take our drink orders. After about 10 minutes the table next to us got sat. They were greeted and ordered their food within 10 more minutes. We still had not even been greeted or asked if we wanted drinks. My daughter got up and walked over to the bar to buy a glass of wine, came back....still no server had come by. By then we'd been there for about 25 minutes. I finally went to the host stand and asked if anyone was going to come take our drink and appetizer orders. A server came by, no introduction, no apology, and asked to take our drink orders and the order for my grandson. We got our drinks and my husband arrived to join us. We ordered our meals which came out fairly quickly which was nice. However, our server never checked on us and when my husband asked for a refill on his diet coke, it never came. I wanted my favorite dessert but as I mentioned before, we never saw our server again. The server never even came to collect payment. I guess he just assumed we were paying with card on the little table kiosk. I did pay using my gift card I'd gotten for my Birthday on the kiosk which was out of paper. My daughter, who was paying cash actually had to go to the bar to see if the bartender could pull up the remaining balance so she could pay. We have dined at this Chili's on several occasions and never ever had such horrible service but after today, I'm not sure we'll be back. read more

What a place. I was really disappointed with this place. One of the employees that was cleaning the tables that had a gray shirt that said the RIB on his left side was scratching his growing all the time. It's not just over his pants, he was putting his whole hand inside himself. Yes I was watching him all the time to make sure he would not touch our food or anything that came to us. He was also seating new customers graving the menu with his dirty hands. I did tell another employee and said that she was going to tell her manager. But it looks like nothing happened because he was still around still scratching his growing like no one was watching him. That's when the wife saw him so she stop eating. Went yesterday, a Saturday afternoon at around noon. We were in the office working on computer training and decided to go there for lunch. There were nine of us. We were handed menus. Took about 20 minutes for the waitress to show to take our order. Took another 30 minutes to get the food. In the meantime, we had chips and salsa to stave our hunger. The chips were kind of good, thin and crispy like. I wasn't a fan of the salsa much. It was thin and not much flavor. I had a chicken wrap of some kind. It was OK. Not worth the wait, though. Chili's, what can you expect. Typical mediocre bar food. Decent chips and salsa, and beer selection. If you are after a quick, on-the-cheaper side meal then Chili's may be an okay choice. The Chili's restaurant staff needs to be reminded sweep once in a while. There were food particles, fires, chips, and other stuff scattered around the restaurant floor. If you had not been in a Chili's before, this would lead you back out the door. Chili's food is just "okay", nothing special. Chili's food has that it was prepared somewhere else and reheated here taste. So the food experience aside, what I saw was the worst thing about the Chili's restaurant at 5090 Smithridge Dr. Reno, NV. was when we were leaving. A couple walked in with a forty to fifty pound boxer dog. No signs of it being a service dog, just a simple leash. What was more appalling was that the Chili's staff seated them. What does the Health Department have to say about animals in a food establishment? What I have to say is that my family and I won't be back to this Chili's. A line has to be drawn on what is acceptable as hygienic in restaurant. Wake up Chili's, you bent to please two people with a dog.
