Try harder with hiring Chilis. Dining out has gotten way too expensive for the experience we had. Service was horrible. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and my friend and myself still had horrible service. Sat in the lounge with only 1 person at the bar. Ordered the chips and queso and they forgot to bring the queso out. After 20 minutes we mentioned it to our server/bartender that we had to "flag down" from 10 feet away because she was busy in her phone the whole visit and she said they were still making it? Huh? From a frozen bag? It appeared on our table miraculously minutes later and was cold with a film settled on it. No drink refills without again flagging our server down. Buffalo chicken bites were dry with hardly any sauce on them. Very disappointed, this use to be a regular lunch spot for us but I will NOT BE BACK (at least to this location) read more

Probably my least favorite chili's. This is the second time I've ordered to go and I'm missing silverware and ranch. I ordered a kids meal grilled chicken and broccoli. Asked for ranch and silverware didn't get either, nor did I get a straw. I also ordered a salad with ranch, again no ranch or silverware. And then a side of the Texas fries with ranch and again no ranch. Soooo how do I eat the salad with no ranch or silverware? Or the grilled chicken and broccoli.. with my hand? I had to get their attention to get the silverware and ranch. I got 1 set of silverware and 2 ranches. It's annoying that something so simple they can't grasp. Who is bagging the food? The service was good...ordered the the kids chicken pasta, pineapple and fries..tasted good and decent portion size my daughter was pleasantly surprised...also ordered Buffalo chicken salad it was yummy and my daughter's favorite....my baby ordered chicken tenders which were great...However, the star of the show was the Chocolate lava cake...seeing the smiles on my kids faces made me almost forget about my plate....The ribs were really dry and the more I chewed the bigger the dry mound got in my mouth...so I moved on to the sausage on my plate they were cold...then onto the corn... barely any of the good stuff that comes on it normally, was on it...mind you, I come here for that corn...the best thing on the plate was the chicken tenders yummm read more

My husband and I walked in and were almost immediately greeted lol, the host had been turned around as we walked in, but greeted us as soon as he seen us. We were told it would be a 10 minute wait for just the both of us, it was a Wednesday night and I was hungry, ha so I wasn't too happy. I received complimentary Guac, real spicy salsa, and very light and warm Tortilla Chips pursuant to a dining incentive coupon I had received online from the corporation. The guacamole, with chopped tomatoes and grilled corn, was spicy, cold but not creamy, and very good. I followed this with excellent Terlinga Chili that was heat hot after stirring. Accompanying my entree of Country Fried Steak were gravy-laden Mashed Potatoes, real sweet Corn on the Cob, and heavily buttered Garlic Bread. All on my plate was pretty salty--even a tough piece of meat. The rest of the Country Fried Steak was suitably tender and tasty. Service was very good amid a loud party ambiance. When I asked for an alcoholic beverage I was told the bar wasn't open then 20 minutes later I seen a waitress bringing her family a margarita, not cool. The service was ok but we had to get out own silverware because our salads were brought to us with no silverware and no waiter was coming to ask us if we needed anything. This should be no stars. Bar section Waiter was ok (for now) appetizer and drinks came out in a decent time. However our entires never came out. Tables around us slowly started to get their food. After waiting for an hour we ended up canceling our order. After we said to cancel our order our waiter started to ignore us and manager never came out to speak to us. We were trying to pay just our 3 drinks and appetizer and no one is coming to help anymore. We asked the waiter for the manager he either never called the manager or the manager didn't want to come out. After 10 or so minutes I went up to the waiter to see an update and he said everything was taken care of but he never told us. We were just waiting at the table. Then he started to give me an attitude and for what?? We went up to the hostess and asked her for the manager. The only reason this place is getting any stars is because of how good the customer service was. I believe his name was Chris. Super personable, knowledgeable of the menu, no complaints he was great. My friends and I all ordered a house salad. We all took out the cucumbers because they were really soggy and had a funny taste. There were also lettuce pieces that were extremely brown and old. In my water there was a big piece of plastic that looked really dirty. We were all trying to figure out what it was but couldn't. It definitely shouldn't have been in my water. But, the hostess never even offered alternative seating even though there was ample seating in the bar area. I'm sure they were overwhelmed as it was busy. But, she still had an attitude and seemed like she was doing the whole "Quiet Quitting" thing. This should have been a NEGATIVE RATING... Me and my husband approached the host desk on this evening, NOVEMBER 16, 2021 @1930 hours. We waited for awhile although staff were walking by and passing by our spot without saying anything. We thought they were just really busy although not a lot of tables were occupied. One staff later on came by and told us, "I will be right with you in a minute." That staff came back quick but informed us that "THE MANAGER TOLD ME NOT TO TAKE ANYMORE NAMES IN."... meaning NOT TO ACCEPT ANYMORE CUSTOMERS! And we asked how come they can't accept anymore customers when it was only 7:30pm at that time and this location closes at 10:30pm...??? The crew replied to us, "BECAUSE THE MANAGER SAID THERE ARE ALREADY ENOUGH PEOPLE HERE AND WE ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE AT 9:30." THAT WAS RIDICULOUS AND IT DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE! I've always been a fan of Chili's whether its the one in SB or here in Redlands. But there is a difference between the two and that in service and food. Obviously I only come to this one because it's down the street and closest to my work, so when my sister is in the area and she wants to eat there, this is the one we go to. While other people have complained about this place, I really can't remember a time where I've had to wait a long time for my food, unless it was extremely busy. When I say extremely busy I mean having to wait at least 30-40 minutes to get table (in which I've only done once.) For the most part the cooks here aren't bad and neither are the servers. There are some that are questionable, but that's only because my friend used to work here and tell me how much drama they are. This last time I went here I ordered their shrimp with cheesy fries because those are addicting to eat, even at this location. The sauce with the shrimp is really good, so try it if you decide to come in. The waitress was really nice and honest, she did attend to us in a timely manner, she did forget my sourcream but apologized and brought some. She was really nice. My sister likes the chili here, she couldn't finish it either. I like the molton lava cake, its really good. Although when I did get it to go one time, I opened it when I got home and the cake was frozen. I don't understand the low reviews, keep your expectations low and you won't get disappointed. I can't say I have had a bad time at this location, and if anything, it's more reliable than the Hospitality Lane store. The food is consistent, which is nice, and the new pay at your table option is cool. The printer jammed on our table, but we applied a free appetizer coupon and gift card with a modest balance with no hassles.
