Had dinner at Chili last night and the server is most likely on the list of the Worst Server of the year. We were greeted and seated very pleasantly. Our server Moe first took another table's order before us, which we chopped up to a simple mistake since we came in around the same time. Without any smiles or pleasantry took our order. Didn't ask what kind of tortilla I wanted which resulted in the runner bringing the wrong type, Never came back during the meal and check on us. Being African American I started to wonder if he had an issue with our race. A table close to us with another American American family ask for a different server I guess they were not having a positive experience either. Arrived about 20 minutes to 7 and took a seat in a booth inside the bar. Waited nearly 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the waitress who seemed not able to manage her eight tables (a mix of 2 & 4 tops). She took our orders. A food runner brought out our drinks and soups in short order. The cups were wet from the soda running over and compared to other Chili's I've been in the soup bowls were less full, not as hot, and oddly the baked potato soup had tortilla chip strips in it. I finished my drink and sat for at least 15 minutes with an empty glass even after the waitress had noticed it and said she'd get a refill. And when she did bring the refills the cups were wet from overflow. The table next to us that had arrived after we ordered received their food before us. Our food arrived just after 7:30. It was apparent that the pasta had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile because the sauce had developed a skin. The chicken fajitas took a few more minutes--the waitress said she was sizzling them up when she brought the pasta. Honestly, based on how dry the chicken was I think they were being reheated. The black beans that came with the fajitas looked and tasted like they were in murky water and the rice tasted like someone dropped the entire jar of cumin in the pan. The garlic bread that comes with the pasta came out after everything else. By far the worst Chili's I have ever been in. I won't be returning if I'm in the area and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Also: This location must be understaffed. There was a table by the windows next to the entrance that had been a party of some sort with the leftover cake box, glassware, dishes, and what looked like leftover wrapping paper when we arrived. This place is cool, local and a decent happy hour and good service my main complaint is every single time I go and sit in bar there is kids in the bar area. There is plenty of seating in the dinning area so it's not like they would have had to wait to get seated. I don't remember when having kids in the bar area became acceptable but I feel they shouldn't be allowed. If nothing else why would parents want to expose their kids to adults drinking possible foul language but also I don't want to be seated next to kids jumping spilling crying etc. Please help me out chilis and ban children from the bar area. Kristyn was such an awesome server. Super on top of her tables and always making sure her guests were taken care of. We have been to Chilis plenty of times but have never had a server this good. I visited this Chili's location yesterday went with my fiance I order the fajitas had a very off-putting spoiled flavor returned it and the second one tastes just as bad. are appetizers we're just as bad overcooked cheese fries would have complained more but my fiance doesn't like making scene. the worst Food experiences at Chili's read more

Stopped on our way home. The wait was awful. It took over an hour to get our food and it was not even busy. Asked the waitress if the Veggie Fajitas are gluten free, she said yes and even checked with the kitchen to make sure. I was SUPER sick before even leaving the restaurant after only a couple bites. So the Veggie Fajitas even with corn shells are NOT gluten free. We will never go to Chili's again. read more

Restaurant was busy, 45 minutes wait to get in. No problem. We put our order in after being seated and it took about 10 minutes for my mother to be served her soup and salad. About 30 minutes later, my wife and I get our order of ribs, cold as if they had been sitting waiting to be picked up for good 15 mins. Bbq sauce on the ribs was dry so after eating one rib, we asked for some extra bbq sauce. My two sons ordered the smoked combo with 3 meats, and one of the orders came with two wrong meats. My son let our waiter know, and a minute later another waiter brought the correct plate, but since he had already started eating his meal, he had to wait for the correct two meat items to be brought individually to him. During our meal, different drink orders in multiple occasions were brought over to our table, all these drink orders belonged to other patrons. Some pasta dish was also brought to our table which we had not ordered. Extra bbq sauce never arrived. My order included a dessert but since we had been at the restaurant for so long we decided to take it to go. After getting our dessert, I asked for the bill, then decide to use the restroom. It seems the floor in the men's bathroom had not been mopped for a while. After washing my hands and drying them I noticed the trash was filled to the top, that explained all the paper on floor. I then head back to my table to pay for my bill and my kids jokingly indicate that another waiter came by with our dessert, which we had already received. At the end, the whole family was happy to leave the restaurant and we will probably not visit another Chili's restaurant for a while. At least not this one. I rated this a 1 star because my mother's meal arrived on time and the waiter was actually a nice person. read more

I went to have lunch at Chili's in Rancho Cucamonga today. I had an hour for lunch. I ordered chicken enchiladas. Well, I waited and waited and waited until I only had 15 minutes left for lunch. That wasn't enough time to finish my lunch if anybody had simply remembered, the male server, for example. Anyway, at this point I saw the server at the cash register and told him to pack it up for takeaway. A couple of female employees came to my table and apologized, but that didn't help for the reason that now I had to eat a lukewarm lunch at my desk. I don't know if I will return to this Chili's, but I hope that this doesn't happen to other poor souls who have only an hour for lunch. read more

The food was awful! The 'Big Mouth Burger Bite' had no grilled onions, ketchup or mustard. They failed to slice the egg rolls. Came here for dinner last Saturday as last alternative because everything else in Victoria Gardens was full. Good and friendly service, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great. I don't visit Chili's that often but I do recommend it to people. Cant go wrong! read more

Went here for lunch with co- workers. After waiting 25 minutes for our table, I asked the server if our table was ready, she said another 5 or 10 minutes. I pointed to a table that was being cleaned off and asked her if that was ours, she said no and pointed to another table that has been ready for 10 minutes. The was frustrating! Once seated the server took forever to get our order then the food took a very long time to come out. I eat at Chili's often and never really experience disappointment. Really a 3.5 rating. The Cobb salad was good, not the usual, plenty of grilled chicken, bacon, cheese and bell pepper. The choose 2 combos option for my wife was margarita chicken and spicy grilled shrimp, both very good. The spicy queso appetizer was actually spicy, though needed to be warmer than it was. Came here with some friends just because, and over all had an ok experience.The food was good, I had the Southern Smokehouse Burger, which was quite delectable. The service however kinda sucked. I was foolish enough to return here after a two year hiatus and order steak after a couple of previously bad experiences. The first time I ordered the ribeye it was cooked to perfection and very delicious. Since that time their cuts have definitely gotten thinner and cheaper. The last two times I ordered medium rare they came well done. I had to send them back while the rest of the family ate their meals. When they were done, my steak would arrive and I'd eat uncomfortably by myself. The last two times this happened the manager came and discounted our check after apologizing so the experience wasn't completely bad but I decided enough was enough and didn't come again for over two years. Decided to give them another try and wish I didn't. Exact same thing with the steak. Ended up being well done and after sending it back watched my family eat and then once they were finished my steak would arrive. Though cooked much better, the quality was poor at best. Very thin ribeye and tasted very much like IHOPs t-bone. Mass produced and seasoned with preservatives. Ok as all my mates say it's what I get for ordering steak at chilis but still for almost $20 I would expect better. Then the side of spinach it came with was supposed to be steamed. When it came out I was so confused because I just got a plate full of raw spinach. I had to ask the waitress if it was supposed to be raw or cooked as only a few leaves were cooked. That's how I knew they were supposed to be steamed because she told me so. I gave up on sending those back and at that point I was ready to get my check and leave. The manager came and offered me a soup or salad, neither of which I wanted and did not offer any discount or coupon for the inconvenience at all. To ad insult to injury I ended up with stomach issues later in the night. Needless to say I have most certainly learned my lesson and will not be back any day soon not will I recommend this place anyone with taste. It's been a while since my last visit, But tonight I had a hunger for some steak fajitas. I've always have excellent fajitas here in the past, But tonight was a an exception !!! The order was brought out wrong, The fajitas must have been setting in the kitchen for who know how long, because they were not brought out sizzling. The steak looked like a mystery meat, and it was rubbery as it sat in warm greasy onions and peppers, along with of a chunk of disgusting chicken which I DO NOT eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our tea had black speckle floaties that looked like the glasses had just been pulled from a moldy sink. The hostess needs to learn how to pick up a damn chair instead of dragging them across the floor screeching and chattering which made my ears twitch. And to top it off, The booth we were seated at was lopsided and the lady seated behind us acted like she had a severe case of uncaring movement like Tourette's Syndrome. Unless she was a crack head that could not sit still if her own life depended on it!!!!!!!!!
