Terrible service through the To Go counter. All times are approximates (but you'd think I'd have the exact times given as long as I had to wait). Online, we ordered three items from the $13 menu, two regular Pazooki's, and one gluten-free Pazooki, all with chocolate ice cream, and the order was to be ready at 6:10 PM. I arrived at 6:04 PM showed them my order number and they started going through the bags on the counter behind them. I first noticed as the guy grabbing three ice cream cups out of the freezer and stuck them in the bag. He then put the bags on the counter and I asked him if those were vanilla ice cream and he said "yes." I told him they were supposed to be chocolate. He then questioned it and asked if all three were to be chocolate as he tried to read the receipt off of the bag and I had to reach over and point to the three chocolates at the bottom of the receipt, so he swapped them out. While he was getting the chocolate ice cream, I started to go through the bag to see if everything was there. All the main dishes were there, but there were only two Pazooki's. I asked him if each order was supposed to come with a Pazooki. Then another server came in behind him and asked if we were waiting on the gluten-free Pazooki. The lady then went into the back and came out approximately a minute later to tell me it would be an additional three (3) minutes for the gluten-free Pazooki. That was at approximately 6:12 PM. 6:15p came and went. So from about 6:05 PM I was left holding bags of food and not till finally at 6:24 PM they brought out the gluten-free Pazooki! Yes, 19 min later. PLEASE NOTE: after getting home there was no marking on which Pazooki was the GF one, it looked the same as the regular chocolate one. We've been screwed through the To Go counter before: one time before they forgot the ice creams, a time before that they forgot the marinara sauce for whatever dish we had. One server did ask me after seven minutes of waiting if I wanted a drink, but that shouldn't take the place of my inconvenience of being there before the time my order was ready and yet had to wait an additional 19 minutes while the rest of my food gets cold. So, how did that affect the food once I got home? Keep in mind, we are less than 10min away. Well, needless to say, the fries were now cold, the fried chicken & mashed potatoes were warm and all three of those items had to microwaved. The salad wasn't as bad but it wasn't as cold as we expected. And even though as soon as I got home I put the ice cream cups in the freezer, when we finally ate them about two hours later, they had melted SO much by sitting in a bag next to hot food for 19min, all the chocolate chips sank to the bottom of the cup. Yes, THAT'S how liquified the ice cream got, thin enough for the chips to sink! See attached pic. One improvement BJ's can do is start having their servers go through the items in the bag(s) with the customers to verify EVERYTHING is in there. They could have asked to replace the ice cream knowing how long I had been there with the ice cream in the bag. If management happens to read this and feels so inclined to make this right, below is the order number that can be verified. And check your cameras too (yes, you'll see me look right at you), to see it all in action. One side note, the three To Go parking spaces were still with the same vehicles when I arrived from when I left. So how is it that I got my food and no one else has left yet? I don't mind to pay for what I get. As long as it's communicated. I walked in got a total of 2 drinks (old fashion) one lunch meal (southern fried chicken with a pizookie) I asked in the beginning if there was a price difference to get a different whisky. The bartender said " no it's the same I can get it for you" I said okay. (This being Ingrid from the Rancho location) Another server walked into the bar area (Andrew) he said his name was and proceeded to say how the we shouldn't be agreeing with every customer which in reality is true but that's up to a manager I then made a comment to see what he say I said " so there's a professional way to say f you"? He said yeah you get it! Crazy response. Back to the whiskey I asked for another drink and she came back updated the receipt and I noticed a price difference. I looked at the receipt just to confirm I was being charged right and she looked over and said " yeah it's different but it's fine it's the same " I was confused because clearly on the receipt I was being charged 2 different prices. She said well the buttons are next to each other so I mixed it up. I said so the prices are different if you want to change liquor she said yes. I said ah if you had communicated that in the beginning I wouldn't be confused she then said "I didn't know that's what you were asking" Plain as day I asked her so I believe she took advantage of me and also didn't measure when she poured so I got 2 different portions. The issue is communication and being consistent I don't mind paying menu prices as long as it's communicated which it wasn't . I have a copy of my receipt to show proof. I never ordered 2 different whiskeys but somehow got up charged. I paid tipped and left. Disrespectful and dishonest. Also make sure your staff isn't gossiping for others to hear. AT LEAST go to the back come on. Food was immaculate loved the southern fried chicken and potatoes with corn. Pizzookie amazing. Just work on communication and honesty. Don't change prices when you get caught. Also I wasn't checked for Id but the person next to me was. Consistency is terrible as well. My family came here for an early Father's Day Lunch celebration for our dad. This location is right across from Famous Dave's and the parking lot is full of spaces. This location didn't have much of a wait time for us when we arrived around 2PM. This location was huge and had the World Cup games playing all around the restaurant. My family was sat in a booth and our waitress was very kind and personable. She was very patience taking all our orders. The orders all came out at different times and some of use had to wait excess time to get receive our dishes. Our waitress did her best checking in on us and making sure everyone was happy. Not the smoothest experience, but overall a good one. The appetizers were delicious and all our entrees were good. I tried the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich was huge and wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed it, the spiciness was hot at all for me. I appreciate the waitress and her ability to work hard given the delays in the back of the house. For Father's Day they were even giving out exclusive Father's Day glasses which was nice for my dad. Can't beat the $13 Pizookie deal here. Treated my siblings out to celebrate the end of the school year. Parking: This location is right across from the Ontario Mills. Finding an open spot can be difficult, especially during their rush. Ambiance/Environment: It was busier than usual since it was the World Cup season. They have plenty of indoor seating with some outdoor seating. I appreciate the amount of TVs, so we can enjoy the game at every angle. Service: We placed our names down with the host at the podium. They'll call you when the table becomes available. When we were called, we walked back up to the podium to be seated. It was awkward at first bc the host/hostess were chatting among themselves without acknowledging us. Our server Michael was courteous. He only checked on us once and refilled our waters once. My daughter and I recently saw the promo for the $13 meal deal and decided we had to go so we stopped in for lunch yesterday and honestly 10/10 all around. Our server was Nicole and she was awesome!! Her section was busyyy but was still super attentive to us, she suggested a strawberry margarita and it was so refreshing! I ended up ordering the Mediterranean chicken bowl and let me tell you, the chicken was flavorful, not dry, and everything else in the bowl hit the spot. We stopped by on a weekday after an appointment to try the $13 mini Pizookie deal, and it did not disappoint! Even though the restaurant was pretty busy for a weeknight, we were seated right away. It was actually nice to see such a lively crowd. Our server came over quickly, and since we already knew what we wanted, ordering was easy. I went with the unlimited soup and salad, my husband ordered the personal barbecue chicken pizza, and our son got the pepperoni pizza kids meal. Everything was delicious--and the mini Pizookie at the end was the perfect treat. A couple of my items came out slightly out of order, but it really didn't matter since I had soup and salad anyway. I tried the broccoli cheese soup and chili along with a Caesar and house salad. The broccoli cheese soup was definitely my favorite--so good I could honestly go for another bowl right now. We got here at around 3pm on a Monday, granted it was Veteran's Day, but the place wasn't packed, there wasn't a long wait to get seated but the food took forever to come out. Oh, the PizCookie also took like 15 minutes to come out. The food was good, it really was. The pizza was tasty, the salad looked good, the drinks were fine and the PizCookie was great. The waitress was nice by the way. I don't think the delays were her fault but sheesh! What Happened to BJ's Kitchen? I suggest staying away from the sample platter. Cold microwave heated food, that's what it seemed I received. With all the restaurant options we have for lunch and dinner BJ's has normally been a staple here in Rancho Cucamonga, unfortunately for me some steps were missed yesterday during my dinner. I ordered the sample platter, the bone in chicken wings we're just above refrigerator temp, I mentioned refrigerator because there was a coldness to the middle that you can't get if you deep-fried them on Location. Add a handful of chips toss them on my plate, throw on some microwave heated mozzarella sticks. Finish with two half ass sliders with zero flavor and you have a $24 plate of "Not Good". The atmosphere was BJ's great, the wait staff always do good job and yesterday was no exception. When I received my bill I mentioned the coldness of the platter to the waitress not to complain, simply for her to pass on the message so another customer won't be affected. I ordered through pick up so I can't say too much about the service here other than the friendliness of the staff at the takeout counter. The food was good and I mean you get what you pay for, it was all about $58 ($13 Pizookie Meal Deal x2, $22 Brewhouse Bites Sampler, $5 Pizookie). She even made sure the ice cream was in a separate bag from the hot foods. Not much to point out about the meal deals, stomachs were satisfied. The Brewhouse Sampler was good it came with 5wings of your choice, Mozzarella sticks, 2 sliders, and Nachos and that was enough to feed the two of us. The dip for the nachos could've been better and the mozzarella sticks could've melted more?? biting into it there was no gooey cheesy that is associated with mozzarella sticks it was just like solid cheese. Dined here while traveling, but I'm familiar with the BJ's brand. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad considering it was a Friday night at 6pm. We wanted to sit outside but they didn't have a patio server until 10, which I think was a miss on their part. Food was fine, nothing remarkable. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The coleslaw was okay, but I'm picky about that specific side dish. My dining partner had a mini pizza and salad. Our server Angie was great though. She was friendly and thorough and talked to us like humans and not like we were just customers (we've all had that kind of experience).
