Nacogdoches Chili it is a good restaurant but the temp is a little off but other than that it was good

I can say that this used be one of our favorite restaurants in Nacogdoches..The last 2 months things have changed..My boyfriend got a grub in his salad, so we did not go back for a couple of months.Then we decided to try Chilis again...Well, the table was dirty and so were the seats..Service was slow and we saw that it was not as crowded as it first was when we used to like eating there...So now after these 2 incidences we have decided not to go back at all... read more

This might be the worst establishment in Nacogdoches. The wait staff is rude and it takes forever to get anything. I waited 20 minutes for the bar tender to get to me on top of waiting over an hour to get my food. I called it in and it was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Ordered to-go from here a while back. Arrived and the food was ready in no time apparently. However, due to some lack of communication, we had to wait 45 minutes (no exaggeration) before it was handed to us. For a TO GO order. I was later contacted (by the manager or some Chili's representative, I'm unsure) and laughed at when I said the food was cold. Wtf? They then offered us vouchers or whatever for new meals that were supposed to take several weeks to arrive in the mail. They never arrived. I contacted Chili's again after that and never got a reply. Needless to say, we no longer even consider Chili's an option when we're going out to eat. read more

I absolutely love this Chilis. I'm not usually a chilis fan but this restaurant is different and the staff and food are amazing. I eat here almost every time I'm in Nac and anytime we have a staff meeting in town. read more

Me and my boyfriend ordered carry out from online, the order was supposed to be ready at 8:00 according to the website. We waited for 25 minutes after the quoted time at the restaurant and once we got our food, we opened it at home and it was cold and certainly not freshly made. Terrible experience. read more

The only thing I loved about going to Chilis was to take the chili pot holder, and they don't even have that anymore. The food was okay, but the service was absolutely terrible. The waitress was very untrained and kept sitting down to talk to her friends at the booth across from us. You would think the manager would say something to her but he just sat and talked to them also. Could you be more unprofessional? read more

My husband and I went here the day before our anniversary. It took 30 minutes to be seated. Got our appetizer but no silverware. Our waitress was no where to be found. Asked another waiter for silverware. Another 30 minutes later got our food, I got the sunrise bacon burger and it was RAW and the egg tasted like old rancid vegetable oil was used. My husband got a salad with wilted lettuce that had more white core pieces than green leaves. read more

My husband and I have always liked Chili's...always liked the food and the service was always good. However, today was very poor....the service & the food was not at all up to par. Waitress was friendly. But when she brought our sirloins out, we told her my husbands was over cooked and she said, "And yours was the one we were worried about, Jesus, Jesus". First of all, didn't need to just say "Jesus" like "what're ya gonna do?" But I instead, "sir, I'm sorry about that, are you happy with it or would you like another one cooked for you?" My husband would've just said, "no". Then our House salad was wilted, mostly brown on edges and had a lot of the white part of the lettuce. She came by and just sat a new glass of tea down (startled us) and didn't say a word. Took home our dessert and had a tsp of chocolate for our whole cookie, is this a big deal? Of course not. It's just I work hard for my paycheck and if I'm going to a restaurant like chili's, I expect good service and good food. And respect & courtesy go a long way! read more

This is one of favorite places in Nac! My very excellent waiter, Chase, suggested the buffalo chicken salad. It was the perfect choice! He was so cute and personable! Chili's is losing its touch. While I have never been a big fan of the chain, there are a few items on the menu that have continued to get my business throughout the years. The drinks are above average price but maintain value due to portion and consistency. I have always made a point to try a different house recipe every visit. Our last visit was on a weekday at around 11:00 am. There were a handfull of tables occupied and about four guests seated at the bar. Only about six guests still had menus on their tables in the entire place. We sat at the bar and waited about 3 to 4 minutes before we were acknowledged and offered menus and drink service. The bartender was polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately she was also inattentive and poor at following up on service. We ordered a specialty drink and a cape cod. We also ordered a plate of nachos to start us off. The nachos took over 20 minutes to arrive. I had noticed the bartender go to the back of the house several times during this period but only to finally return with a 2 tops food that had been seated after us. They looked to have fajitas and a hamburger. 5 minutes after that we received our appetizer. The nachos had clearly died in the window. The sour cream had been under the line so long that it melted. The Jalapeno's were on the chips(requested no Japs) but the lettuce was missing(as requested). The cheese was stale and the black beans were dry. At no time did the bartender follow up on our food or beverages. I ate a few sad chips, paid the tab and we left. We stopped at chic-fil-a on the way home and finally got lunch. We will not be returning to the Nacogdoches branch. This was our fourth or fifth attempt to eat there. We did however try the Lufkin branch several days later to satisfy our nacho and baby back ribs craving. It was delicious. Service was awesome. And it was very busy. Their review will be 4 stars and considerably shorter. Get your act together. read more

The apitizer was the only good thing. The burgers were way to greasy the fries tasted like they had been left in the oven for 1 hour. I tried some of the nachos the were good but put more beans on it. So I do not recommend the service stinks read more

Unfortunately this particular Chili's has not made any improvements. Service is terrible. Don't ever come here in any sort of hurry. We are still waiting for two salads (over 20 minutes). It is currently not full or real busy. Always seem to be short staffed. The food is usually good though. read more

This Chillis.. idk what happened to them.. my freshman year they were ok. The past two years their grilled chicken meat has been chewy/squishy, their rice has absolutely no flavor, and omg the salmon is not seasoned at all. Also seems that they no longer steam the broccoli.. just nothing seems cooked or flavored quite right anymore. Service is fine, food has gone south. read more

Good food, and the service is ok. That's if you like to wait an hour to sit, and never expect to have your drink filled up. I could understand if the restaurant was at capacity but every time this happens the restaurant is less than half full. If it happens to be the amount of staff, raise your wages Chilis and get more people. You've lost our business. read more

This chili's has excellent customer service! Our waitress was excellent and prompt. It started raining really hard when we were leaving and since we didn't have an umbrella, the manager gave us umbrellas and then walked us to our car! That shows that they go above and beyond for customers. The food is always good for a Chili's too. Pretty good big mouth bites, steak, salad, baked potato soup, etc. read more

We like Chili's....but the wait line app said there wasn't a wait, we walked in and was told the wait was 20-30 min. Kinda aggravating!

Shame on this Chili's. All the other Chili's I have been to maintain a high standard of service and food. The service here is poor and the two times I have had the unfortunate experience of visiting them they gave my guest a completely different order and when told about it they eventually corrected and gave them part of the correct order. A patron should not have to hassle the waiter in order to get the meal that they ordered. Servers were slow and nonattentive. Other Chili'g in this region are outstanding on their food and service and the management cares enough to come back and ask how their meal was. What is wrong with Nacogdoches' Chilis. read more

This isn't the best Chili's you'll go to, but it's good. We've had both good and bad servers, but Karson is excellent. She was attentive, gave us tips on the beers brewed here in Nac, and gave us space, so we could talk. The outstanding thing tonight was the service the staff was providing-huge thunderstorm-they were at the door providing umbrellas for people to get to their cars-even offering to walk people to their cars. How many restaurants do this?? We will be back. read more

Chili's Food is Great and Affordable. I like Chili's ambiance and monthly specials. It is always packed for a reason. Reasonable prices for a night out. Service is mostly college students and they mean well. read more

I have been here several times and there are always issues. Most recently, I had lunch at this location with a friend. We arrived a few minutes past noon and were promptly seated. It took about 10 minutes for our waitress to greet us, and another 10 just to receive our drinks (a water and tea). Once we ordered, we saw our waitress only once to deliver our appetizer for the next 30 minutes. We both receive an hour for lunch and had to get our food to go, and I was still late arriving to my office. The waitress noted that broccoli was the reason our meals took so long to prepare. Upon arriving to my office and opening my now to-go meal, my steak was severely undercooked (ordered medium rare, came out incredibly rare). My broccoli was cold, and my mashed potatoes were luke warm. My friend informed me that her quesadillas were burned black. read more

This location always seems to have very slow service, even at off peak hours. The overall appearance of the restaurant was very poor. The floors were littered with paper trash, food, and dropped utensils. The wait staff seemed to be more interested in socializing than actually taking orders and serving customers. After a very long wait a server brought our meals. We had to ask for utensils and that took another 10 minutes. While eating we lost our appetite as we watched a cockroach crawl around the wall. When the roach and the state of the restaurant was brought up to a manager, he seemed to not be very interested. Unfortunately, we will probably eat here again as it is the only restaurant open after 10:00pm in this college town. This is a national chain restaurant and overall the chain is usually reliable, but this particular store is very poor. Hand sanitizer and clorox wipes will be in my purse for the next visit. read more
