Worst chilis experience we've ever had. They were "out of" 50% of everything we ordered even the chips. Waitress that brought our drinks was super annoyed for no reason. Won't be back. This chilis doesn't support SFA ( which is literally accross the street ) so that makes this location the worst chilis in my book! When I got a refill I was given hot unsweet tea I was drinking sweet iced tea and was told they would have to make more and was offered something else to drink. We eat at Chili's often in our home town and really like it. We were passing through last week after a playoff soccer game so we decided to stop and eat. Several of us ordered tea it was almost as we were drinking water, so we then all ordered sodas. Several of us ordered burgers they were all burnt to a crisp, unless you have chainsaws for teeth there was no eating those burgers. Some of our party ordered Cajun ckicken pasta it was cold and very dry.There were only around 25 people in the place. This Chili's gives the one's that strive to provide great food and great service a bad name. Like most places across America right now, this restaurant was short-staffed and struggling; however, our server worked non-stop to best serve everyone in his section. I wish I would have gotten his name. This place is very hit and miss. Sometimes it's good, others, not. Tonight was not! Overcooked hamburger with under-melted cheese, literally still a solid square slice. Probably thrown in a toaster oven to speed up melting a cold piece of cheese, because lettuce was wilted bad. Horrible burger!! I went to the Chili's in Lufkin, Tx with my kids and ordered the quesadilla salad. It looked really good and I was happy with my order. Two bites in, I felt a strange texture. I spit the food into a napkin and found a piece of hair. When I told my waitress, she told me she would tell her manager. Upon her return there was no manager with her. They removed the salad from my order but placed no other genuine concern. I understand accidents happen but felt as if what I went through was of no real concern to anyone there besides myself. Went for dinner tonight, we had a very bad experience with our food. Not only did the food take very long to get, but it was all cold and way overcooked. They really need to concentrate just a little in the kitchen about the patrons inside the restaurant with the time it takes to get there food, as much as they do about to go orders. This was hands down the absolute worst visit I've ever received from this location & Chili's. This used to be my husband & my favorite place to come when we lived here We talked w both managers but frankly their response was not caring. We came in on Sunday at 11:15 there was 3 tables in there, we came early, we ordered at 11:23 & by 12 we still had no food BUT the tables around us, had ordered after us &gotten their food. Our server wasn't to be found so I got up& found a manager observing the floor. I explained what was going on & I told him the table we were at said 31, the tablet had the wrong tbl # & it was supposed to be 73, he apologized & said they should be working on the food. Then came back & said it was working & there was a lot of platters they were needing to make that came in before our food was put in & he could get a dessert, I told him no bc that doesn't solve the problem. But it doesn't make sense that tables around us ordered AFTER us & it didn't effect their food only ours. The ASM then told me he took off the chips & salsa & I told him I have a reward so it's already free & he said oh okay perfect & walked away. Like WHAT. We got our food a bit later & everything was cold. The crispers were soggy & cold, burger cold, kids mac n cheese cold. I got soup & salad & they said they'd be back with my soup & I didn't get it for another 7 minutes. That was luke warm. Then the GM came out & said they had a lot of platters & she was helping in the kitchen, & if everything was ok. We explained the issue & she said she was sorry. The server was attentive at the beginning of the visit but after the 25 minute mark of waiting for our food he disappeared & was no where to be found. Even after we FINALLY got our food he never came by to check on us. I'm not happy with this visit or the staff. There aren't TOO many restaurants in Nac but we chose to come to this one instead of any of the rest & it was a complete disaster. 0/10 don't recommend read more

It had been a few months since I had eaten at Chili's. I ordered the ribs with an additional side of their new roasted corn. The ribs were just as tender as always and covered with just the right amount of sauce. I really like their new roasted corn and I hope they keep in on the menu. We got our drinks and ordered with our waitress. We had another couple sit next to us she attended to after we got our salads. We sat there for an hour waiting in our main meal. The couple next to us was completely finished with their food and paying by the time we got ours. The food was SO DRY because it had probably been sitting in the window for 30+ minutes. My husband works in the food industry so we knew how long it would be in the window till it got that bad/dry. I paid EXTRA for EXTRA sides and about $8 for a full order of loaded fries that i never got. the straw for the ONLY 1 coke i ordered was at the bottom of the sack, which let the drink water down before i could get home (with what was given to me of my food) and drink it. Typical Chili's. Stopped going for a couple of years due to poor service. Example: hostess seated us, then we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order, then we finally gave up and left. Waited a year, went back, and the service was horrible again. Long story short, we have tried it once a year since they opened in Nac and either the food or the service was bad. Overall, we have never been impressed with this Chili's. I even wrote a letter (only one to a restaurant in my life) to the manager a couple of years ago telling them about getting the wrong order, cold food, the lack of service, etc. hoping that maybe someone just needed to tell the manager. Never received a response. Guess I'll wait another year and try again. I guess it's possible that I have just had amazingly bad luck with this particular Chili's. I've never really had a bad experience at this Chili's. I remember once they accidentally paged our thingy thinking it was this huge party's pager, and so they sat us, then realized it wasn't right, so we accidentally got sat earlier than we should, it was pretty awesome, they didn't make us go back and wait, they just cleaned a dirty table and sat us there instead of sending us back. I have lap band(weight loss surgery) and I often hardly touch my food, and several times I've been asked by a very concerned server if my food was okay, they genuinely cared if something was wrong w/ my food, which my food was fine, my lap band was just in a mood. Not sure if anyone else remembers the 2 for $35 coupon they emailed out, but I used two of them back when they sent them out on two different occasions and I couldn't make it to my dessert, and the first time I was just going to miss out, and the sweet waiter offered to get it to go for me, so the second time when I couldn't make it to dessert I asked to get it to go as well, and they did. They understood and didn't want me to not get what I paid for. I just wish the atmosphere was a little more quiet, but what can you really expect from a family restaurant. Oh and I am a member w/ the email club, and I really like how they send out coupons for kids to eat free, and that they offer healthier options for kids, and well adults too, I don't have kids, but I have friends w/ kids, so I care about that too. read more

I really hate to do this cause I'm usually a 5-star giver, rarely do I put anyone on blast but I have lived in Nac for the last 8 years and of those 8 years... I don't think I even need all 5 fingers to think on POSITIVE experiences, but y'all set me OFF on Monday afternoon. I don't plan to ever go back... So a friend of mine and I around 2:30-3 in the afternoon wanted to go eat, but he wanted someplace w/ a bar available. So I hesitantly mention Chili's, unfortunately he was like "yeah let's so there!" So we pull in, parking lot wasn't full but it also didn't seem like totally empty. So we go in literally no one at the greeting station, so my friends steps off and is scoping the bar seating, so he's like let's just go sit, I'm like no, because from what I could see the bar didn't appear open... so I personally wanted to inquire first. So literally haven't seen any employees, just some customers. Now by this point there's a woman behind me. I finally stepped up to the kitchen area and start LOOKING for an employee... so some girl at a station w/ a waitress says someone will be right w/ us... okay, so I step back... well then I think her and some male employee who's come from the kitchen exchange words and he heads back into the kitchen and she walks off... I was done. But I think this was the final straw and I won't be returning, the menu keeps changing and taking things away(but not adding anything). Which is a corporate issue, and trust me I intend to show them this review. But after 8 years of pretty much awful service, no thanks. Y'all must have bad management cause for this to keep happening for 8 years and every time I have gone, always a new set of faces. read more

Ok I know it's a Chilis, but this is to counter a couple of the less than good reviews. We were visiting from Houston and were there late Friday night - about 10:30 PM. Got seated a bit slow and then server initially slow but picked it up considerably - for our party of 9! Even with their expanded menu, late at night everyone's food was hot and tasty. I had the Bacon Chicken Avocado sandwich and it was surprisingly good. My wine was cool and fine, beers appeared cold and enjoyable. Overall a good experience, especially for a late night. Update: My fiance convinced me to give them a try one more time. We showed up for lunch and there was nobody waiting in line. We stood at the front in plain view for TEN MINUTES and never had anyone acknowledge us. 3 different employees casually made eye contact with me, but nobody ever came to seat us so we finally left and went somewhere else. It wasn't even very busy. I used to love this location and we frequented it because it was somewhere my fiance and I could both get something we liked. I don't know why, but in the past year it's gone way downhill. All my dishes have been removed from the menu one by one and replaced with unimpressive new items, and the service took a nose dive. The last 5 visits or so have been really disappointing, and the last one will probably be our final try because it was a complete disaster. :( read more

This place serves amazing food every time, I've never had any problems, and the staff is super courteous! I rate this establishment 5 stars because every visit I've made was perfect in every aspect!
