Brewery #406 I stopped into Fredonia about 2 weeks ago when I was passing through town. It was around 1pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Their large outdoor seating area had over half the tables filled and there was a line at the bar. Anywho, I ordered my usual flight and got a Bock, a Kolsch and 2 IPA's. The beers were all solid but nothing that wow'd me per se. If I had to pick I'd say the Hop-a-Doches (hazy IPA) was my favorite of the group. The best part is that the flight of 4 beers was only 9.00. A steal! I wasn't hungry but there was a shed that served pizza in the courtyard. They had a baked potato pizza as the special that day and it was weird enough that I almost ordered one despite being full. There was also a food truck serving Mediterranean food but that may have been a rotating thing. The people were very nice, the place was cool and the beer was cheap. read more

What a great spot. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor covered seating. They have a great selection of beers. The Sassy Jack was my favorite but is limited! You can enjoy one of the revolving food trucks or order food there. We had a veggie pizza with red sauce and cauliflower crust. It was delicious and perfect with the beer. I am a "Mugger" ! We try to visit Fredonia ever Friday night and sit at the bar and have a couple of beers. This is a lively place. We usually end up meeting new people and enjoy the atmosphere and communications with new people usually from the area. Even though this brewery is in a college town it's frequent by a lot of local people loyal to the establishment. We love it.! read more

Possibly the best place to hang out in Nacadoches. Rotating food selection, live music and solid brews.

Loved the ambience, the TVs to watch the game, the live music was outstanding, the beer was good and cold (the root beer is a must try, too!) and the pizza truck pizza was crispy and gooey. Everything we could hope for. Loved the assortment of games to play, as well. read more

Plenty of beers to choose from and great happy hour pricing. There is food available both onsite, and an Indian food truck parked in the yard. We chose to each get flights of beer to try a few kinds. Amber Ale and College Haze were our favorites. They also have wine, ciders, and seltzer as well. Different nights will also have live music and they are pet friendly. I love this place. Great beer, great food trucks. Dog friendly. I got a fligh with Saison, blueberry, Amber, and Altbier. The Saison and Blueberry were my favorites, followed by the Altbier. The Amber was hoppy, so those who like IPAs would enjoy it more than I. The BBQ truck is great, especially the brisket, chicken, bbq sauce, and beans. So. Good. Great patio! read more

Great place to be out, grab a beer and BBQ from the trailer. The tables were a good distance apart from each other, so it didn't feel risky to be there. You went up and bought a beer and took it back to your table. The beers we tried were good, the Blonde and the Hefeweizen. If back I the area we'd come back. read more

Visited the brewery recently with family from out of town and had a good time on the patio. Very nice. All the brews I have tried have been really good. Check out the local merchant list showing who sells Fredonia beer and you will see lots of others agree that the local brew is very good! Dog Friendly! The outdoor patio is just a block north on Mound Street from the downtown area on Main Street. Have a beer and check out the Caddo Indian burial mound about two blocks north up Mound Street. BBQ, pizza and Indian food are for sale here depending on the night. Check the schedule for food and when they are open because they are closed during the week. Five stars to the Fredonia Brewery for building such a great place for downtown Nacogdoches. Having a beer on the patio is a must try for anyone in the area! read more

Really nice indoor/outdoor space just off the historic square in Nacogdoches. There was some excellent live music during my visit that I enjoyed with a pizza/beer combo. Tried both the hazy and IPA and found them to be well-crafted. Locals know they have a nice little spot here and visitors should stop in to take advantage of it as well. read more

We took a random Saturday afternoon trip to check out this brewery, got there shortly after they opened. Everyone was super friendly, good recommendations on the beers. Plenty of board games in the back, definitely had fun playing with the kids, but would be fun to play with friends too. Found out my husband had never played Sorry! before, our 5 year old beat us 4 times. Great afternoon, we'll definitely make another trip back sometime soon. read more

Good Beer, good pizza just a great place to hang out! 10/10

I went to a retirement party at the Fredonia brewery and it was awesome. I think I tried 7 different types of beer and all of them were great; Angry Ace was my favorite. They also have a really good pizza place and from what I was told a different food truck switched out so there is always a variety. The brewery is also very open so plenty of room if you have kids for them to play around. This is a must stop if you are in town! read more

This is such a great place for Nacogdoches! The Brewery is beautiful and they have a great set up. There are two places to buy beer within the complex, one inside and one outside. They have volunteers working as bartenders, they do a great job with making a line move fast! I love the vibe they have going on here and the beers are pretty fantastic! Can't wait to hang out again and drink a beer. I love that I can bring my dog too! My only advice is to have more variety of food trucks, I know the Brewery just opened so I'm sure we'll see more variety of trucks soon! read more

Best place to drink in Nacogdoches! I started coming to this place for trivia on Thursday nights and loved it immediately. The atmosphere, service, and the beer are all great. There's a selection of Fredonia beers on tap and you can also buy growlers and six packs. The people hanging out here are also fantastic, if you live in the area you have to try this place out! Just a wonderful place. Check out the overhead menu at the counter to help you figure out which brew is for you, or grab a flight and try them all. Their now selling cans and growlers. If your headed through town it's easily accessible without much of a detour from any direction. Plenty of area parking. Very little wait to get a beer, mostly you can just walk right up. Open space. Fantastic place for a Saturday afternoon brew (or 2). Local brewery very near the downtown square. I'm from Nac but haven't lived there for a for very long time. Since the brewery opened, I've visited every time I've been home. Recommended stop for sure. Go by on a Saturday (only open for retail on Saturday) and have a nice pint. Inside in the AC or outside.
