I hadn't been to a chilis in yeeeeeeears and forgot what it was, as I had only been there once. I was pleasantly surprised! We had quesadillas, pulled pork hamburgers, chicken, french fries, and a couple of different desserts, and everything was so good! We had no complaints about any of the food. The chips and salsa were very tasty and so was the enchilada soup ..Yum! The food was good, but what made the experience GREAT was our server Justin! Very kind, upbeat, and attentive and fun. I am giving this a 2 star because on Saturday when we came in, we had a terrific waiter, a bit of a wait on service but he was very kind. Ordered the Steak & Shrimp Fajitas which were awesome. I ordered it rare and what do you know, I got my steak done rare. Went back on Sunday and discovered that the same order of Fajitas is very different at the same exact location. This time when I ordered my fajitas rare, the waiter (who started out GREAT...but wait, there's more about him later) informed me that you can't request it done any way, as it only comes out medium. When I asked why he said because it's just a cheap cut of flank steak which is really thin. Hmmmm, the day before I got a thick cut of actual steak done rare as I requested. Food was not great, but the appetizer of Texas Cheese fries were very good; however, we could not finish all our food and asked our waiter for a couple of To-Go boxes. He brought us back 3 tiny ones and when my husband kindly asked him if he could go get a large one the waiter then got really snarky and said, "Why, you're not going to take those fries are you, they won't be any good." My husband then said that it was not up to him (the waiter) to decide how he would eat his leftovers and then asked a bit more firmly once more for a To-Go box. Then the waiter got really beligerent at my husband and stormed off. My husband gave him our credit card and waited and waited and waited...finally, he had to ask a manager to get him his receipt so he could leave. After this horrible experience we will NEVER step foot in there again, and here's why....2 days later it just so happens that someone got a hold of our credit card number (not the card, just the number) and racked up $1,000 of charges....hmmmm....not sure how that could have happened since the only place we used our card where it actually left our eyesight, and for quite some time. was here....just sayin' BE AWARE!!! read more

I ordered through DoorDash, which I knew my order wouldn't be perfect, I mean come one it's DoorDash they always mess something up. However I was rather surprised to find what appeared to be half eaten French fries, that I hadn't ordered, in my ranch container..... I ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls, they were warm and quite delicious, the French fries just left me very uneasy, but I used the ranch from my refrigerator instead. Kinda gross if you ask me. Went to this location for lunch today. Set us in the bar area in a booth. Service started out pretty good but because we weren't drinking beer or liquor our waitress which was the bartender as well forgot about us. I went without a drink refill. She was re-filling the beers at the bar meantime and over in the corner talking to another waitress and checking her text messages on her phone I could see. I had to give them 1 star but she deserved ZERO.... . We had to as the greeter for a to go box and paid the bill on the table kiosk and left without a thank you or anything. read more

My wife and I came here right before Thanksgiving on weekday afternoon when it was very slow. There was plenty of staff for the demand. There was no wait and food came out quickly, which is the only positives I can say. The problem though is that we sat without refills for 30+ minutes at least while all the employees were standing around. I checked 6 ketchup bottles before I finally found one with any ketchup inside. The waitress came over when we were paying to try to salvage her tip and I made known my frustrations to her. She said sorry and walked away. I told her that she wasn't since she was standing around the whole time and didn't come by to refill our cups or check on us the entire time. When I continued paying, I heard a booth of employees say "I can't believe that, he needs to go back to where he's from". They were clearly talking about me since I was upset at the waitress and you could tell I wasn't from here. I talk to the manager and told him about the situation and he couldn't believe that the staff did that. He apologized numerous times and guaranteed he would reverse the charges as an apology for the horrible treatment. Turns out he didn't actually reverse the charges because last week we used the same Visa gift card we used that day and it only cover up until the amount we would've had remaining after this Chili's visit. There is much, much more to this story that would make Chili's sound 100x worse, but I guess I can't do a review with a lot of characters. Bottom line: When that employee said I should go back to where I'm from, I took that as every Chili's telling me I'm not welcome. We will never go to Chili's again with our hard-earned money. We will take our business to restaurants who care if their employees are satisfied and who aren't discriminated against based upon where they came from. read more

Pretty disappointed with the downward progression of this chilis over the last few months. The service has gone down tremendously, but I can understand that being to a lack of hiring. But what's more disappointing is the food quality has gone down. We went yesterday on 1/29 and ordered chips and salsa. They had this black gunk on the chips and we were told it was due to the oil not being changed out as frequently. It reminded me of Bar rescue when Taffer gets mad at the staff for not cleaning the kitchen. Imagine if they are sending out chips with black funk how dirty the part of the kitchen we don't see is? Gross. Yesterday the food was decent and service wasn't bad, but the last few times I've been, the food has been cold and undercooked, and drinks haven't been made correctly. We were skeptical of the restaurant because of the reviews. The one stars were detailed and the five stars were vague and short. But we gave it a try. As you an see we were impressed. Wife and I arrived at 4:15 on a Friday (left work early) here's what we found. Super clean restaurant and tables, Fast attention by servers, our main server was Jake (great guy, lots of tattoos, but classy) We ordered the caso and two "pick three for $10" meals, along with ice teas. Long history has taught me to not like Chili's. Typically over-priced, bland food with sketchy service. To appease the family I went grudgingly and this time, I had a game-changing experience. Although the hostess was a little curt, everything else was really good. Prices are still a little high but all 5 dishes were made well and I got 2 thumbs up from everyone. We took my mother in law to dinner for her birthday! She chose to go to Chili's and this location is our favorite and the closest to our house. I ordered the steak and made it a 10 ounce. I received the first one and it was well done and I ordered it medium rare the waiter was super nice and came right over and said he would have the manager order another one it came out and it literally was mooing he came back and I had it cut open and he said I'll get my manager we'll this is where I was absolutely shocked with how rude the manager was she came over and immediately became defensive and said it's cooked to temp so that is medium rare so I said that's medium rare she said yes! I said no it's not and she again said yes it is and walked off! Never have I been treated so poorly at a restaurant! My mother's food and wife food was also cold when we received it and we ordered more beans because they were so cold and they came out again cold! I typically don't review chains if for no other reason than people pretty much know what to expect: hit and miss food, hit and miss service, etc. However, I have been so consistently impressed with the Chili's at this location, I feel compelled to let others know. Tonight was the second time we were served by Josh, this time with a large group. Both times he was prompt, courtious and really went above and beyond the call of duty. And that's saying something since we've always received good service here. As for the food, just about everyone had a burger - some rare, some medium rare, some medium - and everyone was pleased. I had the chicken crispers, and while I regret not getting a burger, those were cooked perfectly as well - not overdone or underdone as is often the case. If it's Chili's you're craving, and good, family friendly service you want, this is the location. They clearly strive to stand out in the crowd. read more

The chips and salsa were great... and my family loved the table-side guacamole -- which again had an up-charge but this one seemed reasonable. My brother ordered a Corona in his margarita... since they discontinued it, they charge him for two drinks for it but my brother said he still wanted it. Service was quick and accurate. Brought my mum for bday lunch, she'd never been to Chili's! Pretty busy for a Sunday but our waiter Justin was friendly and on top of it! We both ordered the Triple Dipper appetizer for lunch. The chx strip were tender, juicy (lots of breading but light! ) & hot! Big mouth sliders looked at first a little dry but they too..great flavor and not dry at all. Chilis is not what they used to be. grilled chicken is no longer being grilled like they used to, instead it is processed on the conveyor belt like in a fast food restaurant. Our mashed potatoes were brown and discolored from sitting too long in a pan. My wife's corn on the cob was cold. I worked for Chillis as a cook for over five years and they definitely took a turn into the wrong direction, most likely to called down on the cost at the expense of the quality. Well, Chili's is not what it use to be. But I'm comparing chili's from back in the 1990's. The one on Eagle road is a disaster. Lousy food, service mediocre at best. Went with another couple, found out the chicken ceasar salad isn't fresh chicken. The waiter even told us it's frozen, then microwaved to thaw and then tossed on the grill to make it look like fresh. I ordered a mushroom burger and the other guy with me ordered a regular burger. When they came the waiter screwed up the order and he got my mushroom burger. Since we were talking, neither of us noticed u til we ate half the burgers. The meat was extremely greasy, way over cooked and was actually burned around the edges. Fries were Luke warm. They appear to be struggling financially or something because they've started cutting corners with handing out silverware in little brown paper baggies and not having napkins readily available: we had to ask for them. The waitress was polite, suggested the special, and checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy. The portion size was great. The food itself was a bit disappointing. The freshness of the fries was questionable and my burger was subpar. Although the quality of dining has gone down, the prices have not. We've never had a bad experience at this Chilis but I also don't expect total perfection from Chilis, within reason of course. We have been to this location a handful of times in the last year or so and it's pretty solid every time. The servers are friendly, the food comes out appropriately and looks/is tasty. We've had app plates forgotten or a sauce forgotten but no major infractions of any sort. This location is in our area and one of the better ones in the area according to us so we will continue to return when the Chilis craving hits. read more

Ventured out to dinner last night not realizing we'd find ourselves with an hour+ wait everywhere at the Village, so we considered other options. Chili's had a 30 min wait, so we decided to try it after over 10 years of not going. While the service was really great, the food was not. It was a slight up from Taco Bell, and I'd even prefer Taco Bell's tortillas and beans over Chilis. The chips and salsa were good, but everything else was just gross. The chicken is so processed and slimy. They make it look so good on the menu pictures, but don't be fooled, it's bad. Really bad. 0 stars for food quality, an extra star for good service. There were dirty tables (food on them from previous guests) surrounding ours when we arrived. Thinking they would soon get cleaned up, we said nothing. It took a while before our server showed up and then it took at least 20 minutes to receive our food. Tables surrounding us are still not clean. About half of our food items arrived cold and not fresh, not to mention overpriced. I asked the host if someone could get the tables cleaned up around us and she said she would get on it. She cleaned 1/3 tables and left the other 2 dirty. Those tables remained unclean when we left (total stay was about an hour). What kind of a restaurant leaves dirty tables that long, especially after receiving a complaint? This place stinks of the "I don't care mentality". Really great visit to this Chili's! Food was tasty and service excellent. Small things like the hostess noticed the table she was going to sit us at was a little dirty, so she stopped and got a CLEAN washrag and wiped down the whole table and the chairs and dried them so it was nice an clean when we sat down. Our waiter knew the menu and the taps, our orders were done correctly. Basically everything was just as it should be with manger and team working hard to provide a nice dining experience.
