Wow, I have been coming here since this place opened and I was treated very rudely here tonight! Not only was I under quoted the wait time, but after waiting so long, was sat at a dirty table!! Did this place not learn anything about cleanliness since COVID??? I called the manager over who made the excuse we have new people. I told her don't make excuses, if they are new they should be trained correctly and she walked away as I was talking!!! Besides that, we waited waaaaay too long for someone to come ask us if we wanted a drink, while everyone else around was already being asked. I work too hard to spend my hard earned money to be treated rudely by a manager who doesn't care. I got up and told her we were leaving and she didn't care. Fine service. And she was rude. I know it's cliché but I would give them zero stars if I could! I recently moved to this area from San Jose! My family loves Chili's and we would frequent the Chili's in San Jose at least once a week. When we moved here I did not hesitate to order from a Chili's nearby. Our first pick up to go order was a little hectic because there isn't good phone reception in the parking lot therefore you cannot let them know that you have arrived so they can bring out your food. So I called and was placed on hold for quite a long time. Decided to walk in and was not even acknowledged so I figured they were busy. That day the person working the to go counter was very rude but the young man who was running the food out to the cars was very nice he said that they were short staffed in the kitchen. So on our next to go order when I arrived again could not let them know I was there due to the spotty phone reception so I called to let them know I was there. I was told that my food was ready as if they wanted me to walk in and pick it up which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering it to go. Reluctantly they brought out my food so I chalked it up as may be just another busy day. The the third and final time I ordered to go was ridiculous! I had my husband call who was at home because I could not get through to their phone number. They told him they were sorry for the wait but they had a lot of phone orders and they were not sure if mine was ready. This time I could not walk in and pick it up because I had our baby in the car sleeping. So I called and finally got through and asked them if the food was ready. They said that it was but that they were short staffed and they wanted me to come in and pick it up. I explained that I had the baby in the car and I couldn't do that. So they told me they will bring it out when they can! I have no idea how long my food was sitting there but I waited a total of 40 minutes from the time my order was to be ready until they finally walked it out to my car! We went here in 2019 during the Labor Day weekend. It started out well. It wasn't busy and we got seated right away. *clue* Our experience quickly went down hill. Our table had a sticky coating and the floors were dirty. When we could get a server's attention we had to repeatedly ask for EVERYTHING from table settings to napkins to drinks to plates to food. Horrible....... Many of the servers uniforms which consisted of jeans/t-shirt were wet and covered in food debris including the manager. Ever heard Aprons????? We ordered the buffalo chicken salads and they sucked! The lettuce was not crisp at all. It was soft and mushy and the chicken had a weird taste. I finished my meal because it was expensive and I'm cheap. I felt sick later. Health Dept. probably need to pay this location a visit. Anyhow, we paid the bill and got the hell out. Prior to leaving we addressed the issues with the manager who showed genuine concern but had no remedy. There is clearly a lack of leadership and substandard training at this restaurant. I couldn't be more disappointed with them. None of the food was cooked properly. I asked for a medium rare ribeye and got a fully cooked dried out ribeye. It was disappointing and I damn near choked while trying to eat it. The only thing that was decent was the chips. Everything thing else was bad very bad, even my dog refused to eat it. I never listen to other people's reviews and I learned my lesson and will take all reviews in consideration from here on out. This place needs to shut down permanently. read more

Stopped by on a Saturday night coming back from a long drive. I was by myself so I took a seat at the bar. It was a little late so it wasn't too crowded, many open bar seats available. I wasn't a huge fan of Chilli's until that night. Even though I was really impressed with the food, the highlight of the night was the service. The bartender that served me was the nicest person and a very good worker. They had a lot of new beers on tap, she let me sample as much as I wanted. She kept the drinks filled and was helpful to everyone at the bar. I ordered two appetizers, the chips and salsa and the boneless chicken wings with honey-chipotle sauce. The chips and salsa were good, salsa could be better but I like the chips and they give you a lot. I was really surprised how good the wings were. I'm a big fan of wings in general and these were some of the best I've had. The sauce was super good. I wish I could remember the bartenders name but I can't. It's nice to have the service she provided. I will be back soon. read more

My family and I were at the water park visiting. We were seated at a booth that had seats ripped and exposed lining. A robot sat us down and we didn't have an opportunity to be reseated. Adian came and took our drink orders immediately. There was a couple was seated next to us by the hostess and they were offered service. Amanda was the waitress and helped everyone in the section and avoided eye contact and didn't check on our table. My husband had to get up and ask for the hostess to get us service. We seen the hostess go up to Amanda and she shrugged her shoulders and continued sweeping refusing to help us. We felt discriminated against and would never go back to Chilis after this experience. My husband and I love chilis, we frequent the one in Tracy at least once a week. We actually live in Manteca but we avoid this one due to repeat bad service. Today it was just me and my two kiddos, my daughter asked if we could please go and I obliged since we had no other plans. Walking in there was no host at the door, no greeting at all. Wait 10 minutes until someone comes to acknowledge us, he says I need to be put on a wait, it's busy so I totally understand I give him my name and phone number. What I don't understand is right after that another group of three adults walks in and he seats them right away. Not in the bar area, which I know is open seating, but the dining room. Whatever, don't worry about it. But then he seats another party of four before me, I don't get it, there are only 3 of us. I ask him how much longer and he says just a minute and seats us 5 minutes later. It takes forever for someone to greet us at the table, by then I have the whole order ready. I give our server our order he puts it in and I never see him again. One of my kids meals came out wrong and I was never able to rectify it because he never checked on us at all. No refills offered, no sauces, no service at all. I hate having to wave obnoxiously to get our servers attention to get a to go box for my food. All in all not a great experience, I won't be back. Save yourself the time and frustration and just drive to Tracy. Where the food is hot, servers are great and I've never had a bad experience. read more

Sitting at the bar is a bad idea, apparently. We got our drinks and then we watched the bartender take the food orders of about 7 other people that came in after us. I would give this place 0 stars if I could!!! What a waste of money! The food was not what I expected, the service was horrible!! Our waitress served us our steak dinners and forgot to give us the sides that we ordered. Only until we told her that she brought out the sides 30 minutes later, when we were nearly done with our meal. It took them 40 minutes to provide us drinks! The waitress' attitude didn't help either. She was cranky and was more worried about chatting with her co-workers than providing service to her customers. She's lucky we even gave her a tip! I'll never eat here again, no matter what. Please please, do not waste your hard-earned money here. I am reluctantly giving 2 stars instead of 1, only because I've been here several other times with OK results, and the chicken enchilada soup is very good. But this last time, it was a horrid experience. The bar service was terrible, with the lone bartender/waiter incredibly inattentive, except for talking with friends seemingly forever, while everyone else sat trying to get her eye. I hope management reads these things, because as someone who usually sits at the bar, I can tell you that every restaurant of any size needs two bartenders/waiters, even at lunch; it's just too much work for one, even if they are attentive. The extra cost to the restaurant is less than the price of one meal per hour; yes, that may cut into the lone bartender's tips, but they should be sharing these with others (even cooks?) anyway, although they usually don't. She forgot part of my order, and it took forever to "remind" her (which was met with disdain), and then it came as dessert. What should have been a quick lunch took over an hour. Plus the big bite burgers (kind of like 2 White Castles, with bigger but drier meat) was almost inedible, with barely any cheese, and all stuck together. Maybe that's partly because it sat on the shelf for fifteen minutes while the bartender blabbed with friends. Plus, I could swear my Bloody Mary had some tequila in it. Was that a mistake, or her idea of an interesting twist? I'm not anti-chain restaurant, and usually find the food and service consistent though not outstanding at these, but I may rethink that. read more

Chili's is your standard chain food restaurant so there's not much to expect when you go to any one of their restaurants except receiving the same service. They're all the same, right? Wrong-o. I visited this particular restaurant once and I'm not too sure if I'll come back. My party sat in the bar area and waited about 10 minutes just to get a server to our table. Why 10 minutes? The waitress did well after she arrived to our table to get our orders. I ordered a soup and salad. They had a sweet corn soup that was perfect for my preference. And it was pret-ty good. So after we were finished with our meals, my party and I sat a talked for a while. The waitress brought over our check and told us that she's gonna leave that there and that we could take care of it whenever we were ready. I thought, "Cool. I'm just gonna let my food digest, enjoy my company, and then pay the bill." The waitress returns to our table 20 minutes later letting us know that we have to pay for our check because she needs to get off the clock. Ugh. I don't know about you but this was very inconvenient for me. I understand that you have rules and regulations but they just suck. While passing through my mom and I decided to eat here. We were seated right away. We gave the waitress our drink order and she comes back out with NO ice for our drinks or lemon. We asked her TWICE for ice and lemon and she never bothered to bring it. My mom asked another waitress who brought it immediately. However, before my food was even brought out to me, the manager notified me that they were already remaking and then he comp'ed part of my meal. I was dissatisfied 1) being served upcharged sized beers, and not asked, when your pointing to and looking at "Happy Hour items" one would thing I ordered the happy hour beer. 2) Charge receipt has tip included and the customer needs to +/- adjustment to charge slip. So assuming most servers get double tipped. 3) a guest in our party lost his keys, when talked to the manger over the phone and asked if they could mail them (since we live in Sacramento) was told "That us not our Policy" I will NOT be returning. A friend and I went here for the first time in a while. We got the unlimited soup, salad and chips for lunch. My soup came out and the spoon that came with it looked to be covered in chocolate cake or something. It was definitely not clean and never should've made it out to a table. Server got a new spoon, but didn't seem to care at all. Halfway through my potato soup I discovered a rather large piece of plastic packaging. I tell the server and she has a million reasons how/why it could've happened. Was not apologetic whatsoever. Then our bill was wrong. We were way overcharged and it took forever to get that rectified. The server said her manager agreed to "do us a favor" and slightly discount our bill because of the terrible experience. Then she came back and said they couldn't figure out how to discount it and offered a free dessert to go. Honestly, more food from this place is the last thing we wanted. My friend suggested a gift card (that way we could use it to discount our bill). She brought out a gift card that can't be used today. So basically it was useless since we don't care to go back again. Other than the law I of customer service, and blatant disregard for health laws in the kitchen, apparently, the place was filthy. For $15 you will leave here full. Happy hour all day Sunday when you sit in the bar is such a great deal, and the portions are huge. It scares me a little that people are saying they are small. I got the Old Timer Burger for $7.99 and I got it with the Onion Strings (not to be confused with rings, which are different). The burger was fine - nothing amazing, but not horrible either. The waitress was really friendly, though busy, and kept checking on us. The chips and salsa were very good that we started out with and the sodas are served in large beer type mugs, aka HUGE! Plus, they're clean and have friendly employees. It's kinda sad to read reviews that aren't even up to par, such as the one Julie T. left. But perhaps it was just an off day when she went. However, yesterday was the first time I used the "To Go" service from Chili's. I phoned in our order, and about 15-20 later, I got to the restaurant. There is parking right up front for the "To Go" service and we have our own entrance! Awesome! And when I got there, my bag of food was already ready to go. I did wait a few minutes for someone to actually go to the "To Go" section to ring me up. But other than that, I think their "To Go" option is totally awesome! I'm definitely have to utilize it when I feel like eating Chili's and have no one to go with. Hehehe. read more

We've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it however our visit last night was evident that things have changed. They waitress really was great and doing her best but didn't seem as though she had enough support . The server that brought our food didn't bring it correctly as my daughter and I both had pasta but only one got garlic bread and she didn't get the side of onions. The loaded wings were terrible. We used to get them all the time but now it's just a cheesy sauce and the chicken was dry. Before it had a hot and sweet sauce. I have been coming to this Chili's for six years. I took my mom there tonight to have dinner we didn't want to wait a half an hour to sit down so we went to the bar. The bar was full of nothing but dishes the bartender just pushed him to the side and wiped up our area. We ordered a steak and pasta. 40 minutes later I asked the bartender when our food going to get here. She brought it out to us my plate was plenty hot well that's because it sat underneath the heat lamp, the chicken was dried out the pasta was dry my mom steak was Cold. I asked the bartender to talk to the manager. The manager came out I told her what the issues. the bars filthy I've never had service like this. the bartender was too busy giving her friends shots and not paying attention to her customers. I've eaten here many many times. It's a Chili's. It's what you would expect. It's amazing half the time and garbage the other half. The food is always solid, the customer service and waitstaff fluctuates. I've had waiters and waitresses that did everything they should, got me refills which is all I care about. I will never blame them for bad food, that's the cook's doing anyhow. My wife was walking in to get something that we left behind in the booth. She was there by herself with the baby while I went with my other girls to Justice. So the hostess that was working that day stared my wife down while she was trying to open the door by herself. The hostess's job is to open the door and greet customers. Not to lean against the wall and idly stare at the woman with the stroller. Ok, that's my one gripe really. There are some great servers and some bad ones. So just hope luck turns in your favor when you're there. Just remember, even if they waitress or waiter is garbage..leave em something. read more

Nasty Chicken Nachos! Tonight we ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta, Boneless Wings, and Chicken Nachos. The pasta and wings were okay but the nachos were NOT GOOD! They forgot to include the jalapeños and the nachos were just all mashed together. They use to package them in a way where they were not all mashed together. Also, most of the nachos did not have chicken? It was liked they used taco chicken meat versus the chicken breast slices. My meal was over 45.00 (with tip), not worth the money! Oops!
