We order the 2. For chicken crisper, casadias, French fries. Restraunt pretty much empty. Our server was extrodenary hard to find in Johnstown . Hostess sat us right by kitchen and restrooms. The place was empty but the kitchen workers were very loud and blasting music. Requested to be moved and again he was so nice and helpful. The chicken was raw the fries were cold and wilted and the chicken and beef were burnt and cold. We said nothing to our waiter as he was so pleasant. The floors were so dirty gross! Upon entering look great on the outside- we were greeted by a cute person with giraffe lash extensions, who wanted to seat us without asking where- we would like to be seated. Her first go to was near the bar. I quietly asked if we could be seated opposite side of the restaurant, in a booth? She looked at me with a stare as if I just asked her for too much!! Okay, we got to our seating area... she went to get menus, and they were plopped down at the corner of the table- before she hurried off... (Mind you it wasn't busy!) About 25 minutes later a blonde with a friendly smile appeared- took our order... After about 20 more minutes the food appeared. I was afraid to really order anything- but I ordered something off the appetizer menu... Southwest Rolls Chicken Tenders The Big Mouth (Hamburger Sliders) The Southwest rolls looked 3 days old- and were dying by the second in size! The Big Mouths had uncooked meat in both burger Pattie's; while the Chicken Tenders were hard as a rat's you know... Oh my!!! To top things off- the Waitress with the friendly smile... Asked if we wanted to pay by the Electronic Device positioned at our table? Yes, I replied. She pull the device closer and brought us to the pay screen. As I was reading the screen, she stood over me and reached for my credit card from my hand! I said no, I have this... She looked at me, and said... Oh I'm sorry... She rushed off from the area... She did not immediately return with our receipt- I had to look for her. After being found by the other Staff, she came back with the receipt. I said I just wanted to make sure we had cleared payment, and you received your the 20% tip? She gave me the receipt, rolled her eyes as if I did something to annoy her... Again she left, as if she was saying- the heck with you, I got my tip! I'm not really going to go into food or ambiance too much in this review as this is a fast casual chain. All I can say is that the food is decent enough, even if it is hard for one that has allergies to find something edible. Is it so hard to not cover everything with corn? What I really want to touch on here is how impersonal this place in general has become. I like the idea of the table top touch screen system that lets you do everything from ordering your own appetizer to playing a game, but I hate the fact that you never see anyone. If I am doing most of your work, what is the point of you having a job in the first place. Are you aware that you are in the process of being phased out. And, if I am doing the work, I should expect the prices to drop as payroll should shrink. It just irritates me, you have become nothing more than a glorified fast food restaurant. The only good thing I can say about those distraction screens is that I don't have to wait to pay. I can split my check if need be and swipe my card and be done with it. What confuses me about that is that I am not sure whether I should leave a tip because all that you as a server has provided me with is my food once it was cooked in the kitchen. read more

Chili's is a Vann family favorite. The menu is large and accommodates everyone's interest. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We started with the bottomless chips and salsa - a must do! The chips are so warm and the salsa fresh. I had the margarita flatbread and my sister had the chicken fajitas. Both were super good and large portions. We could have shared one of the dinners. We went here for dinner Labor Day. Upon entering we were the only two customer waiting to be seated in the restaurant that was about 25% full. As we stood waiting for several minutes more customers came in behind us waiting to be seated, probably about 8. Finally a skinny girl came up to us and asked "how many" I told her two, she turned around and looked at the mostly empty seats as if she was looking for a place for us, she then walked back into the kitchen and back out on the bar side and began pouring a beer, was she on drugs? Or maybe hit her head on something. Maybe she was pouring the beer for herself. A couple was leaving and said to us "good luck" that's when we decided to leave this frozen food fest and go somewhere else. Walked in and sat at bar and in the course of 20+ min all I got was an ice tea. No offer to tAke my order just sat and witnessed one customer service drama after another at the bar and with take out orders. After hearing a couple behind me at a real table complain about food and seeing many others sitting around looking like I was for service I walked out. Not sure what the problem was as there was only about 1/3 occupancy for both sides of restaurant and lots of people in Chillis uniforms. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Food took way too long, not only for me but for the four tables near me, wait staff gave away for and discounts to make up for it. Server forgot my salad entirely. Chili's is never great, never bad. Chili's was great at one time, and then it went downhill. However, it's back to the good times again. We are there at least once a month, and it keeps getting better. The reward program they have is a nice incentive. The food is made to order, and the service is excellent. The only downside I have to this is they have a Tex-Mex menu, and I'm a picky eater. However, that doesn't stop me from enjoying the burgers and quesadillas they have. The servers are excellent and prompt with whatever you need. Everything is declines. I've lived in the Johnstown area for around 8 years. I decided to give Chili's a try today. Big Mistake! I got the BBQ combo, Ribs, Brisket, Chicken. The brisket was dried out, crispy little strips that resembled bacon more than brisket (see photo). The ribs had that "reheated from last night" appearance and taste and were pretty dried out too. On many levels, I enjoyed Chili's. There was almost nothing that I disagreed with, and I felt like the waiter built a strong case for me wanting to return. He was thoughtful, consistent, listening to our hungry appetite and how to pick real food. All this was informative and helpful. However, I found myself ultimately in favor of Chili's, for a number of reasons: Joshua, our waiter himself was so engaging in his job that I was sold on him as much as on what he was saying about the many choices. He made it easy to listen to him, on a subject that doesn't often interest me. However, the food was referred by him but wasn't picked by him. I can understand that he's not a professional food conasure himself...but I found myself thinking all the while that I was so glad he took time to explain the menu and I wished I could eat everything on the menu. He made everything sound delectable. The waiter was a guy named Joshua. Since I was going to mention his name, I've inquired to find out that he was not new at this. I've never heard of him before, and I'm not saying I wouldn't listen to him again...but his performance as a waiter was the biggest highlight of all for me. His delivery was very unique...almost content. I almost wondered if he was always so happy. He never sounded... "snooty" or arrogant. And, he had a poise about himself that never overreacted. Insomuch he delivered the food with confidence, even though I wondered if I had made the right choice I felt assured seeing it and smelling it, because it was solid and accessible all on its own. I felt this way from the very first minutes of the delivery and presentation of the food. Lastly, I was not disappointed with what I ordered. Joshua never talked about "what to eat". I don't speak "food"...and I always appreciate examples when I'm in unfamiliar territory, such as Chili's was to me. I certainly understand that he didn't want to be limiting or take responsibility for telling people how they should eat...but when I asked him between the two... what would he pick... he told me with no hesitation. I chose it and was very satisfied and still had plenty to take home. Joshua assumed a certain level of knowledge that applied to me as a hungry customer. So I felt like I was in control of my choice and my choice tasted wonderful. The rest of the story was that our food was exceptional, and there was a payoff. I will be back and I hope to see Joshua again. He certainly deserves praise. read more

This Chili's is infinitely better than the Altoona location. Comparing the quality of what comes out of the kitchens, it's like they're two different experiences, not chain sisters. This Chilis had gotten some poor reviews...and I'm not sure why really. I mean, it's Chilis. It's busy and based on other locations I've been to, this onesies right up there with a good spot to stop while traveling. We ate dinner around 7:30 on a Friday night. It was packed. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was on top of things and our orders arrived quickly. For the first time ever, I got something new. I got the shredded chicken burrito. It wasn't something I'd get again...because it was lacking chicken. It was mostly rice. Live and learn. I'll stick to Chilis favorites from now on. But definitely check this spot out. This location has been getting worse and worse over time. Recently received a meal while dining in that had portions still FROZEN. The wait staff working pick up orders are usually rude. Online orders tend to be missing items or prepared incorrectly even when there is a ticket with the instructions for the order attached to the containers.
