First off, I would give this place zero stars, if at all possible. It was my first time at this location, and I must say it was extremely disappointing. I did understand the limited seating due to Covid and only having three servers. The wait wasn't too long, just about 15 minutes or so. Then we were seated. The hostess initially was going to seat us at one table, but then "had to check to find out which table she had us at". We ended up getting a table near the door, which was also not a big deal. The big deal came immediately after being seated. We were given the inserts, with the highlighted menu and drink items on it. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. We were there ten minutes, and decided if they were not there in the next five, that we would leave. We watched as other parties were seated, immediately given a menu and were able to get their drink and appetizer orders, although they were in line after us. We didn't even get water to drink, several waitstaff, as well as the manager walked by, ignoring us completely during this time. When we left, again, without so much as anyone looking in our direction, which again is difficult, as we were near the entrance, watching other parties get seated and waited upon, I asked to speak to the manager. I have worked in customer service many years of my life, and never had I ever seen such a lack of empathy for my situation. I got a half-hearted apology, and then he turned and walked off. I can't review any food, because we ate elsewhere, and I would encourage all who read this review to not even give this location the chance to do the same to you. Go somewhere else. Drive the extra ten miles to go to another Chili's, go across the road to 54th Street, go ten minutes away to Longhorn. Your patience will thank you. read more

We waited 1 1/2 hours for our appetizer and food after waiting for 30 minutes to be seated. Watched our waitress sing in the kitchen while all our drinks were empty. And also watched waitress pick up customers burger with her bare hands. This place had terrible customer service! Do not recommend coming here. We ended up leaving. read more

Stopped in for a burger while waiting for my car radio to be installed at a nearby electronics store. Service at lunchtime was excellent, that is what the two stars are for. Food was oh so meh. BBQ bacon burger was small and had nothing to distinguish it from a similar burger at other hardy places or even with a king. Fries were not crispy. Bacon on the burger was not crispy. The pickle slices on the side were good. The ketchup bottle was on point. I guess I was unrealistically expecting a sorta gourmet burger. Seriously think I should've just gone to the nearest fast food joint and saved about 8 bucks. As I remember it, this chain is probably good for a group of friends gathering for chips and margaritas. Long wait times do to under staffing. No there fault. But I would say once we did get seated about 30 minutes the servers person was good.. The food took forever. Chili's deserves a 1/2 a star. I went in to order to go, at the to go parking area. It is 10 minute limit. I went through the door, and a lady was at the counter. When I went in, she stared at me, and left. While I waited, I read the menu, and a few minutes later, a male employee walked past me, stared at me. "I'd like to or...." oops, he's gone. Another male employee walked by me, and I tried to catch him, "I'd like to.." Nope, he looked at me and ran to the kitchen. Another female employee went to the cash register.I thought she was going to wait on me. She looked at me, and walked away. So, 15 minutes in parked in a 10 minute zone, and I left. But I have a bunch of stories about the Chili's. See, the food is good.But the service is down right distasteful. Once I went there with a friend and they served us food, but took a half an hour to bring us silverware. Stories like that representing horrible service. First the good: the chips and salsa, fried pickles. The bad: took 50 minutes to get our meal, ordered a 6oz sirloin cooked medium...got and it was beyond well done, basically shoe leather. I debated on writing this review and honestly it needs to be talked about. Came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. Was told it would be a 20 minute wait and ended up waiting 45, keep in mind half the restaurant was empty. We ended up with Johnny as our server and he was something else. After delivering our food, which was actually pretty good, he disappeared for 15 minutes when we needed him. He came back, obviously stoned and got us what we needed. He then proceeded to show us pictures of his kids, out of nowher, and then casually told us that his 3 year old took his dab pen & got high.... my boyfriend and I were shook. Idk what made him so comfy to tell us that but it was quite disturbing. He's lucky we didn't call CPS on him. Won't be coming back here again. read more

One other family in the restaurant and we were told we had to wait to be seated until their other server came in...due to a shift change. Sat and waited for about 10 minutes and were seated. Ordered appetizer sampler and it came out with chipotle sauced chicken, I ordered as regular crispers. Waitress took it back to be corrected to. Meal came back out in about 15-20 minutes and the plain crispers had been placed on the paper still coated with chipotle sauce. The other portions included in the $15 cost were cold and disgusting after sitting on the platter whilst they recooked the chicken (just to place it in a pool of sauce). The paper should have been replaced and the other food kept warm. I stoped the waitress to let her and know and she said there was no sauce on the strips. I again told her that the paper was full of chipotle sauce and the chicken was placed right on it. She apologized and that was it. I did tell her that someone needed to let the kitchen know. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! Absolutely disgusting! Wish I could give it zero stars! My 2 year old twins hadn't been to a restaurant in over a year due to Covid and we thought this would be a family friendly restaurant that could accommodate children. The host/bartender made us wait 10 min although no one was in the restaurant. We were seated and our waitress was pleasant but this place is filthy! I should of walked out the minute they handed us booster seats that were covered in sticky residue from years of buildup! Not sure why they didn't do a deep clean during the ENTIRE year they were shut down! The food was awful and they burnt the grilled cheese to a crisp. How do you not know how to grill a sandwich for a kid's meal? My toddlers wouldn't even eat this crap! My salad was drenched in ranch and had been sitting under the heat because all the lettuce was wilted. Should of waited the 45 minutes to eat at 54th Street! Will not be back. This was some of the worst customer service I have experienced and we didn't even make it to the table. Upon arrival, more than half of the tables in the restaurant were open so we assumed there would be no wait. We were then told by the host there would be a 15 minute "'max" wait. After waiting about 20 minutes or so, we began to over hear the wait time increasing despite the fact that customers waiting prior to us were leaving and none were being seated. The hosts made no effort to notify us that the wait might be longer than expected and that their kitchen was beginning to get backed up. Also to be noted this kitchen was getting "backed up" by roughly 8-10 tables in the restaurant. After waiting about 35 minutes, we asked if we could be seated to at least get some drinks started. We were then told by the hosts that we could not be sat at a table to get some drinks while the kitchen is backed up. The reasoning and logic behind this was not conveyed to us and we decided to join the majority and also leave the restaurant. read more

My husband and I had the delightful experience of lunch at Chili's a couple of weeks ago. We were VERY impressed with our server, Miguel; he was extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient in his service. Our meals were quite tasty; I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the double burger; both were quite good and perfect portions for lunch. Food is always good. Staffing like alot of places has been an issue for quite some time. But the kids love it due to the mac and cheese.

Seating time was impressive. They were busy during the dinner rush but managed to seat us in about 8 minutes. Our hostess was knowledgable and friendly. Upon being seated she showed us the tablet (now placed at each table). Not only can you order food and drinks from it but it has several games on it, which kept my daughter entertained and happy. The waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. She got our somewhat complicated order right and even brought extras (lemons) that would compliment my dish. My ONLY complaint is how loud it was. Even my nearly 11 year old kept complaining to us about how it was making her head hurt. So while we liked the food and service, I think we'd be better suited going at a less busy time. read more

Where can you get a decently prepared filet of salmon, a half rack of dry rub ribs, broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes for 17.99??? The answer is probably nowhere else but here! Server never came around so we couldn't ask for new chips until she came to take the appetizers away as it was time for the meal. We told her the chips are salty and she had mentioned it being the end of the night all chips from the bottom of their batch are salty...it's 6PM. Shifts start around 4-5... You close at 9 or 10? This a a horrible place to go..I ordered curb side pickup was told the food would be ready by 7:34 -7:43pm.. I arrived said I was there the lady came out twice and asked me my name on order. People that pulled up after me got their order before me.I called at 7:55 and they said my order was being bagged up. Got home with my order some of my food was missing the petals tasted like they been sitting so I called the manager would not refund me and hung up on me .. still never got my food correct This is a terrible place to go.. will never go again and will definitely spread the word on how terrible I was treated read more

Nice restaurant with good prices. First time at a Chili's restaurant. Very friendly staff, large portions.

This location seems to be quite poorly managed. They are available on Door Dash but they do not accept orders. Yes, that does not make sense. I have tried three times to place an order and each time I receive an email saying that Chili's has 'cancelled' my order. This is after you are allowed to make menu selections and actually place the order. They need to be all in or all out. Either they use Door Dash or they don't. I will work with Door Dash to get them taken off the site but until then don't waste your time with ordering from this location. They don't know what they are doing. read more

I admit it, it has been awhile. We eat at the Chili's in Overland Park. They we're honoring SoCal distancing and masks like they should ( many do not). The server was good and pleasant. Food was delivered in timely manner unfortunately it was not correct. The food was cold and me wife mad told them medium well on the hamburger & it was raw. The only thing I liked about it (a little) was the food. It was okay. I did not like how slow the service was and almost everything (every time I go) is either wrong,uncooked,or over cooked. It used to be different. I feel like people who work there just don't care anymore. Sometimes when I go to this restaurant for any special occasion, there are certain employees that don't give us good service (being rude, disrespectful, attitude, slow) just because we say something a little too much. I have experience with this. Once my friend kept on repeating something and the employee went out of her way to say in the rudest tone "okay we get it." This is why I wrote this yelp review. If you are looking for a restaurant go with something with better food and service. I might suggest red lobster or Texas Roadhouse. I have had great experience with these restaurants. read more
