Kids pizza

Kids liked Chili's and the wait wasn't bad. We ate a lot of the chips. They are great and normally I don't like salsa, but this one is good. The burgers were great and my children liked the Mac n cheese and pizza. It was easy to pay at the machine on the table.

We decided to stop at Chili's for dinner and drinks since it was on the way home and always delivers some solid go-to options. Ambiance: 7/10 It was pretty busy when we arrived, lots of people, lots of noise... but there was still plenty of seating available. The vibe was exactly what you'd expect from a chain restaurant: nothing fancy, nothing offensive. Just your standard Chili's charm. Service: 10/10 Our server, Annie, was phenomenal. She was super friendly, checked in at all the right times, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Honestly, she made the whole experience great. Annie, you're a rockstar, easily one of the best servers I've had in a while! Food: 8/10 We split the fajitas for two and it did not disappoint. Huge portions, sizzling hot, and full of flavor. We got double chicken, steak, and shrimp for the protein and it was all cooked perfectly. They brought out separate tortillas and fixin' plates for each of us, which was a nice touch. I was so excited I forgot to snap a pic (rookie mistake, I know). We also grabbed the frozen margaritas of the month, mine was delicious, and I'm always a sucker for a sugar rim.

Chili's is definitely not the worst place that you could ever eat. Combine that with my high school memories and the nostalgia creeps in making for a fun dining experience. The have some budget options that are a great price to get enough food to leave you feeling stuffed to the max. They have the three for me options that come with an appetizer and drink for one set price, depending on the entrée you choose. Then they have the 10.99 options as well. If you get a great server, you are lucky and it definitely makes your experience better . But let's be real it's Chili's so don't expect too much On this visit, we sat in the bar area to watch the football game. The bartender was an excellent server and we enjoyed our meal, love filling stuff, super chill and exciting environment in the bar with the Rose Bowl on.

I usually dine in but opted to order out. Was pretty disappointed to see this in my salad. It was warm and the croutons were soggy. Maybe keep the croutons separate going forward and perform a lettuce inspection before preparing the salad.

Do you need a girls night out. That was all that I wanted/needed and it happened with the help of chili's. It was a packed busy night but a girl checked in online to get a table. Table acquired. Drinks acquired. Bites acquired. Commence girl talk. It was loud as hell but so we're we. Food... It did the job. Drinks okay. Ambience and people watching, yasssssss.

Boba was manly juice balls. But very tasty.

We went to Chili's this past weekend with friends. I tried their new item on the 3 for Me menu, the new chicken sandwich was better then I thought. It was a breaded good piece of chicken. Sometimes feels like it's all breading but it had a good amount of chicken and tasty and tender. I do not like pickles I said no pickles! I wish it did have cheese on it. But tasted really good just with mayo. I tried their $6 Marg of the month. I wasn't sure about it at first but it was also very good!

Janelle was awesome!! She is the main reason we roll through even though our house is technically closer to the roseville location. Her service is always quick, attentive, and friendly. Yet she makes the place feel like I'm coming to hang with a friend. Shes a great people person, charisma off the charts!

I've been to this location a few times and honestly it does not disappoint! We came by ona Friday night when there was a decent line out the door, the host said it would a 10 min wait and we waited about that long. Always love getting free chips and salsa for being a rewards member. This time I wanted something small to save room for dessert, so I ordered a side of fries and broccoli, they were so good and our food came so incredibly fast, my boyfriend ordered the Tex mex bowl. For dessert we got the molten lava cake and oh my as soon as our waiter brought it we scarfed it down, it was so delicious the hot chocolate cake paired perfect with the vanilla ice cream. Overall we enjoy this location and I'll definitely be back!

Came to try the new chicken nachos. I like these better than the old ones, more of what im used to. Also got brisket queadilla....nice cheesy and sweet smoke on the meat. Loved them. Also got free chips and dip. Once more it was busy and everyone was amazing. The host acknowledged us immediately through a packed lobby. He was SO nice I thought I was in an alternate reality. Our server was also on point. So far every time ive been here they have amazed me.

Everything is packed with flavor and keeps this hungry dino coming back for more! Now, this dino has traveled and experienced Casa Bonita in Colorado, and I'd call El Tapatío Citrus Heights' own little version! The colorful Mexican decor gives the place so much character, making you feel like you've been transported straight to Mexico. Pair that with authentic food, and you've got a dining experience that's more than just a meal! Rex Tip: Come hungry on weekend mornings because they offer a Mexican breakfast buffet! There are so many delicious, authentic dishes to choose from, including freshly handmade tortillas! Just be prepared for a line because this place is popular, and for good reason. Unfortunately, our last three visits have been consistently disappointing, and we've decided we won't be returning. About a year ago, the manager (or possibly the owner) was always present. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about both the customers and the quality of the business. Since we stopped seeing him, we've noticed a significant decline. We always order two Yucatán chicken salads. More often than not, the salads have had very little chicken. On one visit, the salad was completely drenched in an overpowering vinegar dressing, making it difficult to enjoy. More concerning, after each of our last three meals, both my husband and I became queasy within a few hours and experienced stomach issues that sent us running to the bathroom. After the third occurrence, we realized it was no longer a coincidence and made the difficult decision to stop eating here. It's disappointing because this used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the quality and consistency that made this place so enjoyable in the past.

I found the menu a bit big to fully read while standing. I liked that the order taker asked if I wanted both rice and beans, allowing me to skip the rice and get twice the beans (choice between black and refried). We sat in the outside patio, which is very pleasant (if you can ignore the Folsom Blvd traffic, which I could). Our food came within about ten minutes. I went to the salsa bar first. They had a variety of salsas (mild, medium, hot). I got the two hot ones, and liked both. My food was good. The tacos were fine, but as mentioned, I guess Mahi Mahi isn't my first choice for fish. The beans were good, and the chips were nothing special, but still tasty. My husband had Tony's Grain Bowl with Salmon. He said he'd have preferred a bit more grains, as they were barely noticeable compared to the greens. He liked the fruit salsa a lot, and the touch of hot honey. He said the salmon was cooked exactly the way he likes -- fully cooked, but not dried out. He later learned from the website that a burrito can be ordered as a bowl instead, which would've led him to a different selection that he might have enjoyed even more. A good first experience for us. Maybe next time we'll spend more time looking at the menu first.

There is a bar but that was packed and unfortunately this is in a small strip mall that had no other businesses for us to check out while we waited. Parking can be challenging as well. Luckily the wait was probably only 30 minutes since we were ok being seated inside. I tried the pork belly taco, fried chicken taco, and quesabirria taco starting at 8 bucks a piece. If you eat in, you also get complimentary chips and a salsa flight. My favorite was the green salsa, although I enjoyed all three of the milder salsas (four salsas are plated in order of heat). They also have a small distillery so you can get mixed drinks or bottles from them. Too bad there are no tasting flights. My favorite taco was the pork belly. It was juicy and flavorful. I just wished there was more of it to enjoy lol. Both the quesabirria and the fried chicken were less exciting for me and lacked depth of flavor. The fried chicken was also a bit dry but adding salsa on top greatly improved the experience for me. I'm glad I checked this place out and crossed it off my list. The salsas were unique and the tortillas were nice and fresh. But for the flavor and price, I can probably get a better deal and equally satisfying (but less artisanal) meal elsewhere in town.

While the restaurant overall appeared generally clean, the immediate physical environment unfortunately stumbled. Both the menu handed to me and the edge of the table had noticeable dried food stains from previous diners. This is a detail that always makes you hesitate before diving into a meal, and it signals a clear need for a tighter focus on basic front-of-house cleanliness. Hoping the kitchen would outshine the table settings, I ordered the Combo 4, a hefty platter loaded with a shredded beef taco, a chile relleno, a cheese enchilada, Spanish rice, and refried beans. When the plate arrived, it became immediately clear that this kitchen possesses plenty of raw potential but suffers from a lack of consistent execution. The standout elements were undoubtedly the hot mains and the rice. The Spanish rice was prepared beautifully, proving light, fluffy, and genuinely tasty on its own. The cheese enchilada delivered that classic, comforting richness you look for in a combo plate. The chile relleno also passed the flavor test with flying colors, uniquely elevated by an extra layer of peppers scattered across the top that added a welcome bite. Unfortunately, the rest of the plate struggled with under-seasoning and lackluster components. The shredded beef in the taco was quite good, but it was dragged down by a handful of white iceberg lettuce that lacked any real flavor or freshness. Meanwhile, the refried beans were entirely bland right out of the gate. Ultimately, the saving grace of the entire lunch turned out to be the house salsa left over from the complimentary chips and salsa basket. Drenching the taco in it brought the meat back to life, and stirring it directly into the beans was the only thing that rescued them from mediocrity. The bottom line is that this place has the bones of an exceptional neighborhood staple. If the management can inject a bit more discipline into their food quality control and enforce stricter cleanliness habits, it could easily become a local favorite. For now, it remains a decent but flawed spot saved entirely by its table salsa.
