Such great service huge area to sit! We beat the crowd and had a very comfortable seating area for four of us. Great place to feed your tummy after you fed your soul at church. The trio was delicious I am great Big cheese pole. The chicken tenders were good and the bacon quesadilla chicken one was super delicious. Can't explain how good the taste is in there, but you can definitely taste the bacon and everything else that's in there. Ambiance: 7/10 It was pretty busy when we arrived, lots of people, lots of noise... but there was still plenty of seating available. The only thing making me add two stars instead of anything more was the fact that I accidentally forgot my to go food that was all boxed up and ready, realized maybe 3 minutes not even later and ran back inside to find it was already thrown out which is fine !! Chili's is definitely not the worst place that you could ever eat. Combine that with my high school memories and the nostalgia creeps in making for a fun dining experience. The have some budget options that are a great price to get enough food to leave you feeling stuffed to the max. They have the three for me options that come with an appetizer and drink for one set price, depending on the entrée you choose. Then they have the 10.99 options as well. If you get a great server, you are lucky and it definitely makes your experience better . But let's be real it's Chili's so don't expect too much On this visit, we sat in the bar area to watch the football game. We went to Chili's this past weekend with friends. I tried their new item on the 3 for Me menu, the new chicken sandwich was better then I thought. It was a breaded good piece of chicken. Sometimes feels like it's all breading but it had a good amount of chicken and tasty and tender. I do not like pickles I said no pickles! I wish it did have cheese on it. We came by ona Friday night when there was a decent line out the door, the host said it would a 10 min wait and we waited about that long. Always love getting free chips and salsa for being a rewards member. This time I wanted something small to save room for dessert, so I ordered a side of fries and broccoli, they were so good and our food came so incredibly fast, my boyfriend ordered the Tex mex bowl. We called prior to coming in just to make sure the wait time is not too long and they said it'll take about 30 minutes so we came. Upon arriving after 5 minutes from calling, we were told it'll take 20 more minutes but it was so disappointing how long we ended up waiting. We would have gone somewhere else if we had known it'll take an hour to get seated. Then, the food took too long to get served. I had to dab the bottom of them you can see it dripping when my partner bit it. Update 2026: Still giving a 3 even though I barely ate today. What happened to the ribs? They used to be really good but today dry and tough. I've been coming here over 20 years. It has always been the safe play for myself and my family because the food is good, the service is good and it's affordable. But yesterday was the worst experience I've had. The food was terrible. I always get the classic honey chipotle chicken crispers, they're always the same but this time it tasted like they didn't even batter the skinny pieces of chicken before battering it, the Mac n cheese was literally soup and my fries were cold with no seasoning. The mozz sticks were good though. Our waiter never refilled our drinks, we never got napkins or straws, and 3 people costed $90 for some mid grade food. I get the lunch or dinner specials and Im able to get an entire meal for under $13! It just goes to show how much most places gouge us. Chilis has tons of great food for under $15. First off, we have come into Chilis off and on for years and years. We mostly visit the Folsom location because it's near home. We tried the Fair Oaks location tonight and I am so glad we did! This is a decent chain and you get menu items that are typical with some changes or seasonal items here and there. The Folsom location is hit and miss with food, cleanliness etc. each time we go there, we think that they are probably not going to be in business for much longer because of these things. Visiting the fair oaks location today really made me appreciate them on a whole new level. The service was AMAZING So friendly and sincere and helpful. Our waiter David, constantly checked on us, brought back things we ask led for very quickly even thought they were busy. On top of that, the manager also came around 3 times while we were here, checking in to see if we needed anything. This is 5 stars because of our waiter David mostly, but everyone from the hostess to other employees walking by, they would all smile and seemed happy to help. The food tasted good too!
