This is the best Denny's we've ever been to. Why? Exceptional customer service. Every Denny's that my family and I have ever dined in at was always ever lacking in customer service but I had a birthday meal I wanted to redeem so decided to try this location out. We are so happy that we did because this Denny's location was awesome. Right away, we were welcomed in by a friendly staff member who seated my husband, infant daughter, and I immediately. Another staff member offered us beverages, brought them for us, then assured us our server would be with us shortly. Within the time we were checking out the menu, our very upbeat server walked by to let us know she would get to us as soon as she could (she had several other tables she was tending to) and she floated by from table to table, very upbeat and never with hands empty. She got back to us pretty quickly, greeting us, and introducing herself as Kerri. She took our orders and we got our coffees topped off. Each time our coffee cups were refilled, it was always hot and fresh! The manager brought our food to us while Kerri tended to her many other tables who I noticed seemed to be some people she was familiar with, which told me she had plenty of regulars. Of course she did--her customer service skills were great! The manager, too, was incredibly efficient. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a restaurant manager actually helping out around the restaurant and checking in on tables. He was pre-bussing, refilling drinks, holding doors open for guests, and telling the ones exiting to have a good day. It was clear to us that he was always on top of things. Overall, I noticed everyone helped each other out at this Denny's. No one was ever just standing around twiddling their thumbs. Dishes and scraps were picked up right away as well! We loved that our coffee cups were never empty, the restaurant was very clean, food was delicious and brought out quickly, and everyone was so friendly. We were so happy with the impeccable customer service we experienced this morning! We will absolutely return time and time again to this location. read more

We go to our Denny's on Fridays. My best friend and I enjoy a great meal each time we go. Whether we try one of their new specials or one of our favorites. But what makes our time there the most special is the staff. Even if they are busy they take the time to say hi and ask how we are. That extra little time and smile goes a long way with us. Came in with my kid for a late breakfast. They have the pumpkin pecan pancakes that are back. These are so good. This Denny's is very close to my office. I can't believe I don't come here that much. I certainly will now. The pancakes were fluffy and had the perfect pecan /pumkin ratio. The syrup on top was thick , almost like a butter, brown sugar syrup. I asked the waitress if she could add a dollop of whipped cream. Yup , that did it for me, I was hooked ! Never got our waters refilled over the hour and a half. My burrito was relatively dry and made me nauseous, but they offered to replace it. I ordered The berry stuffed french toast as a replacement, then recieved plain french toast. The rest of the food was delicious and the place was clean. Overall not super satisfied. read more

3 1/2 out of five stars. As I mentioned in my last review, I only live like five minutes away from this restaurant, so I do come in quite often. You can eat as healthy or as "over-the-top" as you like. One of my favorite items on the menu is the fit slam. Scrambled egg whites with fresh spinach and grape tomatoes, two slices of turkey bacon, as well as toast, or an English muffin, and fresh fruit. For a healthy breakfast, it's delicious! I came in at six this morning, and, As always, The place was spotless, and the people were friendly and helpful. I went for another item that I get often, the " everyday value slam.". For only $6.99, you get Two eggs, your choice of two bacon or two sausage, (I always get one of each,), and your choice of two pancakes, two slices of French toast, or biscuits and gravy. It always hits the spot just right. I usually get the pancakes, because I love Denny's pancakes, but this time I decided to try the French toast. Unfortunately, this time the meal was not as successful. The eggs were done just right, with a good amount of yolk, the sausage was very good, and the bacon was crispy, But, I was definitely not a fan of the French toast. It was a good quality brioche that they used, but they either put too much butter, or too much oil on the griddle. The French toast tasted greasy. It was a good quality French toast, I just couldn't get past the greasiness of it. I didn't take a picture because I didn't think I was going to have this issue. I will keep coming back. This has been our go to Dennys for years. The other night our server Lindsey W. was rude. She never checked on us to see how things are going or if we needed anything. We needed refills and set our cups at the edge of the table for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgment. We had to wave down another server to get refills and we complained to him about her service. We were ignored throughout our dining experience. Management needs to review this post so that they can make sure that their customers our treated with dignity and respect! read more

Had to recognize Raylene at the Sunrise Denny's. She is the glue that holds the whole place together. She constantly works more than an 8-hour shift, comes in on her days off when needed. The employees respect her because she does whatever needs to be done, including mopping the floor, bussing the dishes, maintaining the inventory, helping the cooks, waiting on customers, and maintaining all the shift records for all the workers. On top of all this, she decorates the restaurant for every holiday. She neglects herself for the good of her company; she deserves a very loud THANK YOU from management for going above and beyond the call of duty, every business needs a Raylene. read more

After coming home late from work, I was hungry and decided to order for delivery from Denny's since some other restaurants were closing for the night. I ordered the BBQ bacon chicken sandwich with onion rings. I had ordered a similar meal for lunch with friends at a different restaurant a couple of months ago, and that wasn't very good. Maybe that's the reason why I especially appreciated how good the one I ordered from Denny's was. The chicken was seasoned well, bacon was the right amount of crispness, with the right amount of sauce and veggies. The onion rings were delicious (the other restaurant didn't even peel the onions completely). I don't usually think to eat at Denny's or order from them based on past bad experiences from a couple of decades ago. But, the food I've had there in the last 10 years has been much better, and I really enjoyed what I ordered last night. read more

Nice clean and friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was great. The food was quick and the hashbrowns were perfect. I was craving breakfast after a night put. Well I like breakfast anytime. Restrooms clean. Coffee was m'mmm ok but I guess I shouldn't have expected High end at 3am. I will say I was offered flavored creamer but received half and half. Using the online ordering, it was simple to pick out my breakfast. Supreme Skillet without peppers is my favorite. It is usually on a sizzling skillet when ordering to eat in. Pleasantly surprised that the To Go order in a plastic container keep the food hot. Season fruit cup was separated in the carrying bag so it did not heat up. Indoor seating in non-covid shutdown times is good with large outdoor covering available when eat in is allowed. The way ALL the servers treat their guests is above and beyond the norm. I watched my server greet everybody and take the time to listen. There's another server sitting next to a gentleman talking/listening to a guest while she rolls silverware in a napkin. The hostess came and sat with an elderly couple and listened to them and it was all genuine. I was greeted immediately and seated right away and offered a beverage by the hostess. Daniel was my server and a very good one at that. He deftly offered toppings for my egg as he completed my order. He was professional and offered the quality of service that I would expect in a high end restaurant. The food was good - I got one of the Senior breakfast options - but the scrambled egg was especially creamy and delicious. Denny's has been a California mainstay for many decades. It's not a place I frequent but when I go, my expectations are usually met. This particular location was large and very clean in appearance. The service quality was excellent and being able to get a discount with my AARP card paid for the cheese I added to my egg! I always come in and I never get greeted and I always have to ask someone after 15 minutes of waiting and asking if I can get seated, they always pass by or look at me and don't say anything. Then while I was waiting, a group of people were waiting and they got greeted a good morning how we doing and got sat down right away, they were also asked for drinks on the spot and then another server or host went up to them and asked them as well while sitting right next to them and not being asked yet. It's a very clean restaurant. It looks like the owners have taken care to make sure it's not the gross diner that we've all been to where there's at least three bodily substances on the floor in the bathroom. The service was dedicated and polite and friendly. The food came very fast and it's nothing new if you've been to Denny's before, but it's good. They have a cook who knows what they're doing. We checked-in at DoubleTree one late Friday night and were glad that Danny was still open and only five minutes away. We got the Mile High Denver Omelette with stack of pancakes, Sirloin Steak with sides of corn and red skinned potatoes, and an Oreo Milkshake. The Oreo Milkshake was tasty and really hit the spot. I wish the hollandaise sauce tasted like it should. Lately it seems like the cooks don't care what they put out . The cook over cooked the eggs and they use sweet ham . I know that I am not a 5 star restaurant but the old Denny's was so much better. read more

Big shout out to the staff at this location for accommodating our group of approximately 40 hungry high schoolers at 10pm on a Saturday night. Steven handled the whole group - drinks, shakes, breakfasts, burgers, onion rings, etc., etc - all with separate checks and was efficient and so friendly. Meanwhile, Vanessa took care of the 12 or so parents -equally efficient and friendly! It was very clean, and the food was surprisingly good.
