We didn't come there for that and i think it'll be a long time before I go back. I love the food, but allowing these peddlers to annoy and abuse me customers is not okay. The food is grea, the service is goo-- what a sham.

Let's just say it make sense why the lot is full. The service was beyond reproach. Our server was attentive and detail oriented and never felt us feeling ignored. I couldn't see the bottom of the complimentary chips and salsa and the food came out hot and delicious. The three meat molcajete with traditional salsa verde (a family recipe according to the menu), pinto beans, radish, freshly roasted jalapeño, green onions, and sautéed cactus. Topped with Monterey Jack, Cotija, and Panela cheese was the star of the show. You assemble everything in a nice flour tortilla and you are in for a delectable and savory treat. The portion sizes are generous and the price point given the amount of food is also very attractive. We shared the molcajete and had plenty leftover for lunch the next day. I always wondered why the parking lot was so full but I longer have to wonder and I'll be contributing to the busy traffic in the parking lot because I'll be back for another round of molcajete.

That kind of consistency is rare and deserves respect. The chicken tacos, the menudo, the enchiladas, the rice, the beans--every single plate delivers. It's comfort food in the truest sense, the kind you crave because it's tied to memories, not trends. What I love most is that this place hasn't changed. Walking through the door still feels the same as it did all those years ago. Same vibe, same soul, same feeling of familiarity that hits the moment you sit down. In a world where everything is constantly being "updated," this spot stayed true to itself--and I'm grateful for that. This place is something special to me. As much as I want to shout from the rooftops and tell everyone to come eat here, part of me wants to keep it just the way it is without fighting the crowds. Some gems you protect a little. The staff is always amazing--warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. They don't just serve food here; they take care of you. This isn't just a restaurant. It's a lifelong tradition.

I ordered nachos and it tasted so cheap to me ... I don't really like how taste .... I tried taste my mom steak plate I forgot what it is but doesn't taste good ... my family always have to add salt to flavor .. One thing my concern ... people who working and go outside and doing their thing and smoking from where we can smell it ... People who smoking can blocked from smell or flavor they cook that maybe why food taste so plain and cheap taste ... and maybe not wash their hands after smoking I don't know for sure ... I just think this place need improve upgrade looks and better food to change that all ... Sorry forgot take pictures of it while I was there

Initially we had hesitated because the reviews weren't the best but we decided to try it. Our experience was very pleasant and we were surprised at how good the food was and their drinks! The moment we walked in we were greeted and sat right away. They took our orders and brought us chips and salsa. Surprised the salsa was actually good and it at a kick to it. That's always a plus because we're used to spicy salsa. My fiancé had the taquitos dorados and he ate everything in his place! He's very picky about his food, but since the first bite he said it was delicious! I had the nachos with carne asada, because I wanted something lighter, which ended up being the same as a man entree but thy were really good! The meat had a good flavor and texture. And nothing tasted old or stale. The ingredients were all fresh. I normally don't drink margaritas because tequila and I don't really get along but this blackberry margarita looked so good in the picture, I decided to give it a shot. Oh my! I'd never had a margarita this god before!! It was perfect, I finished it all. Something I always have trouble with. Not this time though Overall we enjoyed the food and drinks. And the staff were very friendly and the server checked on us frequently, which is always a plus. We were surprised that this place didn't have more people on a Saturday night, but I suppose it's because of the location. It's in a business area and there are mainly hotels and a few restaurants. We would definitely return if we're ever in this area again.
