This is a mini-Chili's at terminal C at the Dallas airport. The menu is a subset of a regular Chili's probably focused on a traveler's needs. The place was clean and service was good. My server was fairly attentive despite a full restaurant and offered to refill my drink when she saw it was running low. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. There's an option for grilled chicken on the sandwich as well. The chicken sandwich was composed quite well -- the lettuce and tomatoes but tasted very fresh and the bacon was crisp. But the chicken was pretty dry. Indeed, I was a little suspicious when my order came out only 5-10 minutes after I ordered it. There's no way this was made after I ordered that fast. I don't know if the chicken was already cooked and just reheated ... But that would explain the speed of service and the dryness. The fries, on the other hand, were very good. And the soup was fine. Servers and bartenders not friendly or helpful. Hostess had an I could care less attitude about helping people in a long line. I went to the bar and was greeted with an unfriendly you need to move your bags which were behind me. I moved them to behind my chair. A waitstaff person told me Griffey that i either to move my bag or park out by the front wall-which I did. I asked for a tag to wipe down the counter as it was wet from the last customer. He gave me the rag and didn't offer to do it himself. Ordered a drink and was given a menu. I was there 10-15 mins and was never checked on again to ask if i wanted another drink or food. Service was okay. Had to ask for flatware before we could eat and refills. Took a long time for our food to come out but when it did it was mostly hot. The mac 'n cheese wasn't hot and was just kind of meh. The chicken strips were a good size, I was glad I didn't order a larger serving...I couldn't finish the four I ordered. Was passing through DFW on my way home from work thing. My flight got delayed so I decided to have lunch and chose Chili's. It's been a while since I've eaten there because I really think they've gone downhill over the years. However, this was a really good experience. My server, Emily, was super sweet and very friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries as well as a soft drink. I could not believe how much bacon they put on my burger. Very impressed and the taste was just like the old days. My experience at Chili's in Dallas Airport was very disappointing. When we arrived, the cashier instructed us to place our order at the to-go kiosk. After ordering, we told her that we wanted to sit and eat in the restaurant, but she said we could not because we had placed a to-go order. We explained that she was the one who directed us to use the kiosk in the first place. Fortunately, the manager was understanding and eventually allowed us to sit down. He was professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not pleasant. We had just come off a long and exhausting flight late at night, but the staff seemed uninterested in providing good customer service. The waiters were rude and unwelcoming. I ordered the Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and it was one of the worst sandwiches I've had. Half of it was cold while the other half was hot. It was bland, and the cheese was barely inside the sandwich. Another order at our table was the Crispy Crispers Combo, which was excessively salty. The lemonade also did not taste fresh or enjoyable. What disappointed me most was the attitude of the staff. As tired travelers, we expected at least basic courtesy and service, but that was not the case. Since it was late at night, we did not have many dining options available at the airport. Otherwise, we would have chosen somewhere else. Located in the DFW Airport, this location caters to the busy traveler. They serve food all day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). I popped in between flights. My server came to me faster than expected, plus, when I asked about a meal and if it could be prepared within a certain time frame so I could make my flight, she seemed like this was a typical question they get. I was assured they were on top of things like this and it would not be an issue. The booth I was in had a power outlet, so I was able to charge my phone as I waited for my meal. Score! My Chili's House Salad with Chicken Crispers was just what I needed to keep me going on my travels. The chicken was nicely cooked and hot. The greens and tomatoes were very fresh. I really liked that the salad was topped with shredded cheese as well. I also enjoyed a Deep Eddy Strawberry Texas Lemonade. I highly recommend this refreshing drink. If you're in DFW, I recommend stopping at the Terminal C Chili's location for a good meal. read more

Secondly, obviously prices for airport foods are crazy, but this was beyond. $70 for breakfast and 2 drinks? After waiting 10 plus minutes with one waitress walking past us several times and the other standing next to the order/cash register without acknowledging we were there, we got up and left. Food came out a bit slow and wasn't to good. The Nashville crispy tender was just oil and some Cajun salt (not even spicy). It was quite greasy that I couldn't even finish half of it without feeling a bit nauseous. Staff was ok, given it's located in an airport don't expect much quality wise. Every airport should have a Chili's! A triple dipper and a skinny margarita were life saving while traveling for 24 hours. Service was great and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I got the triple dipper with chipotle honey chicken crispers, boneless buffalo wings, and mozzarella sticks. The skinny margarita was strong and delicious without being too sweet. The male cashier at the 'To Go' window at terminal C was not professional at all. While placing my order I asked what flavor sauces they have, and he looked at me as if I were bothering him, took a deep breath and spewed out the list of sauces. My total was $21.68 and I handed him a $100 bill. My change was given to me in $5 bills, and although I could see him taking the change from the register, I wasn't counting it. He then proceeded to hand the bills and coins to me, and I asked him to count the change, and by this time he was thoroughly frustrated with me. Not only did he look at me as if I were asking for a favor, but he counted it out on the counter and quickly walked away with a bad attitude. Later, when he returned with my food, I told him it doesn't hurt to be nice, and that what ever problems he's having at home, with coworkers or whatever should not be projected onto the customers.
