Great surprise...Very good food for the airport. Noah was a fantastic server. I thought 1030ish might be a bit early for a margarita, but in hindsight...I needed it (and maybe another) Upfront, the prices were ridiculous, very much the cost of eating at an airport, but the portions are very big - do what you will with that Liz and I split fajitas, which came with about half a pound of both grilled chicken and beef. The fajitas come with rice, and charro beans, and guacamole salad. The kids plates came out huge. Noemi just had a beef fajita plate. It came with a lot of rice and refried beans. Noah's beef nachos did too. It's good food, good service, but just be ready for the price tag.

Usually airport food is a sh*tty version of what you can get at the restaurant outside. This was legit Pappasito's. It's a sit down restaurant where you order from a menu, but they had me in and out in 30 minutes.

Passing through Dallas Fort Worth airport was excited to see Pappasitos near my arrival gate. Though I was not hungry I remembered the great food when I lived in Texas many years ago & just had to have some. We had the Plato Del Mar & Tortilla soup. We also had margaritas. Ambiance was typical airport scene. Overall the food was not as tasty as I remember & service was not that great. Disappointed.

mirage margarita

Not one, but two Mirage Margaritas! The best bartender, Caesar, said it wouldn't be spicy if I didn't add the salty spicy rim. However, as I continued to enjoy my drink, it tasted spicer by the minute. I asked if there was any spice in the drink and he said the candied chile threads could be the culprit. He didn't think they were, but as they soaked up the margarita, it was possible. I got another one without salt or spice. One of the best margaritas that I've had in my lifetime.I doubt I could replicate the taste so it will live on as a memory. Our food was delicious! We were very happy that this restaurant resides in terminal A. Cute spot that has tables and a comfortable bar. Don't forget to tell Caesar I said hello!

The food hear at the airport is similar to the actual restaurant with a downscaled menu. Was good and fresh. The small area made it difficult to enjoy the meal. But was good nonetheless

For an airport restaurant, this is a good place to spend time before going to your gate and grabbing a small bite or large meal. The service is quick and friendly. The portions are large and you can share them. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. I really like how they offer chips and salsa as a complimentary snack.

Chicken fajitas

Had a little time between our connections and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Unfortunately my chicken fajitas had more skin than chicken. I saw they do portion size by weight so I must have missed out on a whole piece of chicken by all the skin they gave me. Very disappointing. There was also no cheese to put on the fajitas.

Breakfast Taco Platter with GF sensitivity

First of all--ask for Michael as your server. He is outstanding! He gave excellent recommendations and was very attentive to my gluten-free sensitivity, which I truly appreciated. I ordered the breakfast platter, which was delicious and hearty, and he added a side of avocado that completely made my day. My husband had the huevos rancheros and absolutely fell in love with it. The Cuban music playing in the background added the perfect vibe and really elevated the entire experience.

The outrageous prices - $30 for two "tacos". The serve was nice but there was no saving this shitty experience!

Absolutely disgusting--and at these prices, downright outrageous. Tried this place for the first time at the airport, and let's just say the guacamole was enough to set the tone: bland, possibly made with near-spoiled cheese (cotija or queso fresco?), and zero seasoning. The chips were greasy, tasted like old fryer oil, and lacked any salt. The tortilla soup? Sent it back--it was nothing more than warm, flavored water with zucchini tossed in. A first... and hopefully a last. Then came the "tacos de hombre"--highly recommended, but totally underwhelming. Just a few slices of beef wrapped in limp flour tortillas. The rice and beans on the side tasted like they were reheated in a microwave. Even the beer on tap was flat. This place is a glorified Taco Bell charging premium prices for low-effort food. A handful of sad ingredients reimagined as a menu. Total rip-off.

What I got when I asked for a box

Went to the Dallas Airport location and was amazing! I ordered the Plato Del Mar, queso and non-alcoholic Tropical Refresher. Everything was devine and plentiful! The atmosphere was great, my server was Von; but everyone was so nice! The Plato Del Mar is the choice when you can't decide if you steak, chicken or shrimp. The shrimp was wrapped in bacon and charred beautifully. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and the chicken was juicy. So much flavor!! The guacamole was creamy while still having avocado chucks in it. I liked that the beans weren't the run of the mill refried beans. The queso was good but that fire roasted salsa was delicious! I really enjoyed the Tropical Refresher. The cute flower and dried fruit garnish really made a non-alcoholic beverage feel like a cocktail. I also think it's nice that for an airport restaurant everything was served on real plates and with real flatware. When I asked for a box I was pleasantly surprised with box, container for salsa, a bag of chips, plastic flatware, napkins & a bag to carry it all in. Thank you for making my layover to Virginia so enjoyable and relaxing!

Wait. This was a Tex-Mex restaurant at the DFW airport? It was outstanding! Great food, huge portions, great service and, did I mention, great food? We ordered fish tacos, a salad, tacos, and enchiladas and everything was piping hot and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Glenn S.

Surprisingly good Tex-Mex at DFW Airport. Friendly and fast service. Food is fresh and tasty and a plus for having fresh sliced jalapeños, not pickled.

Chris C.

Had a great mojito and fantastic enchiladas here. The service was fantastic and the place was clean and organized. If have a moment it's great to stop here and have a quick bite of some great Mexican food.

We ended up going with two types of dumplings, and the Shanghai noodle. The dumplings were cooked to perfection, and the noodles were savory and satisfied. It's one of those places that's easy to return to because the experience is consistently solid, not just the food. The cucumber and spinach salads are almost automatic orders for us at this point. They're reliably bright and well balanced, and come out quick. We also make a point to check out the specials whenever they're available. They tend to reward repeat visits and usually give us something new to talk about on the way home. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the staff. They're consistently well trained, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. Even on busy nights, things move smoothly and calmly, which matters a lot when you're fitting dinner into a full family schedule. At this point, Hello Dumpling feels dependable in the best way. It's a place we trust for a good meal, thoughtful execution, and a welcoming experience every time.

Checking Yelp for…read morelocal options,I noticed a place I'd previously bookmarked with Thai in the offerings so,headed that way. Dallas uptown can be frustrating, hectic and discouraging if your not patient. I was, circling the block to find a parking garage plainly marked for the area I was headed to. Your parking is free here with restaurant validation. Walking up to Fung Shui I remembered it from a previous walk in this area when I bookmarked it. Opening the enormous wooden door takes some effort and is indicative of the place you're entering. Well designed, upscale, comfortable. A lot of natural light entering the space gives a feeling of well being and instant relaxation. The menu combins Chinese, Japanese and Thai offerings in the perfect way. The lunch menu has offerings in all 3 and I went for the chefs choice assorted sashimi. Perfect is the only way to describe the fresh, elegantly sliced portions of Sashimi. My lunch partner went Chinese with a shrimp, beef, chicken stir fry. Also perfect. Nice selection of hot teas available and we enjoyed a pot of Chrysanthemum. It was the perfect accompaniment to our lunch. They have a significant and impressive collection of Japanese whiskey at the full bar that I'm anxious to return for a sip. I highly recommend you ... Go!

They brought out our food exceptionally fast, which would have been great, but it took the kitchen/waiter 3 attempts to get my meal right. I ordered the Pad See Ew and was sent out every variation of the meal except for what I ordered. I understand that most Thai pasta meals are similar, but they should know their stuff. My correct meal eventually came out and it was delicious. I got a spicy level 3, which was perfect and made every bite enjoyable. I also ordered the vegetable springs rolls... nothing to write home about, but worth the try. I like that it was firm (stuffed) and crunchy.
