Horrible ..... I've been there three different times and each time our orders are not right . One time we were refunded our money via gift cards that took close to a month for us to get them I understand the pandemic is going on . Last night we got the two for 25 and as I was looking through our order, I noticed not only did they give the wrong sauce but put the portion cup directly on top of our dessert Who in their right mind puts something that is not sanitary on somebody else's food we didn't even get to eat our dessert last night my steak was overcooked the crispers were burnt not even enjoyable .... We as an office went to chili's for lunch,we waited 50 min. for our lunch that came to us cold. Now I ask why are all of our lunches cold if we are waiting 50 min. The waiter Jacob was very rude and unintrested and short with his answers. When we asked to talk to the manager Ali who was concerned with our service even though she took several mins. to talk to us she did the right thing in comping our meals but the service was aweful. The waitress that served us picked up a quesadilla off the tray and put it on the plate and served it to us. Very unprofessional we won't be back. read more

Went on Holiday weekend wasn't packed but busy Our waiter was good the food was decent but I think fajetas should come with more then 2 wraps.with them filled I only got half the meat on them .I did not see a manager walking around not that they can change anything .Like I said tho the staff was good and very understanding of our 2nd old yelling "happy squeals" but could blow an eardrum.The only other thing is my wife's fries were hot my son's were completely room temp and smushed like something was sitting on to of them. read more

I've been here multiple times and had excellent service, but this time was very different. The dining room was less than half full but we still hardly saw our server. When she introduced herself, she told us her partner, brandy, would be over as well to help us. We never saw brandy. they weren't really busy but I still waited about 10 minutes for a drink refill. I chose to pay in cash, which was a mistake because I waited for my change so long while our server stood in the back talking that I ended up leaving without getting change. They received a tip much much larger than they deserved. read more

Yes, this is a good one! Its a typical Chili's inside, we sat at a booth and enjoyed the atmosphere. I was nice and quiet and clean. No fuss. We got good service and the food was first rate. I had a "OldTimer" Burger and it was real good. Nice and juicy with good flavor. It was expensive...............about $9 bucks with cheese. My guests had chicken dishes that received good reviews. Overall, this is a good spot, but it is a little pricy. Down one star for pricing! Good Food! read more

Stopped in here for lunch after swimming with the manatees. The server was nice and attentive and the food was good typically what you can expect from Chilis. As compared to other reviews the servers were helpful and got us refills timely and the restaurant was clean. read more

I've never been disappointed with Chilis anywhere in the country, but this one in Crystal River is consistently excellent. Their wait staff clearly understand customer service! Last night I had the prime rib tacos, which I understand to be a test market item --- 5 stars for those tacos! I hope they find a permanent place on the menu. read more

It's chilis you can't expect crystal goblets and silver forks, but the service was good, the ribs were good, my moms salmon was good... So good that we finished everything on both of our plates. After a long day driving and beach combing all we wanted was a solid meal that tasted great and didn't break the bank. Chilis delivered! I'd go back next time I'm in town, it's perfect if you're traveling and just want something no muss no fuss. I also like the automated check out things at the table. I used to eat at Chili's at least twice a week. That was until moving to Crystal River and that has now stopped. On one visit we had hair in the food, not the best thing in the world but I eat out enough to know it happens. On another visit the entire Alfredo sauce bag, a large bag, was in the in the pasta that was served to my friend during lunch. On the last visit to Chili's my wife ordered fish with spinach, laying neatly beside the spinach was a cockroach. This was obviously our last visit. The manger on duty offered to waive the charge and asked if we wanted to take our food with us. Yes, hard to believe but true. This happened in June 2015. Given the numerous issues I alone have had, it is safe to assume they have serious sanitary issues in the kitchen. Please beware... read more

I'd say that we were really pleased with this location. Our server Derek was excellent. We came in at kind of a between shift time which is usually hit or miss with service, but he was wonderful. The chips and guacamole were wonderful. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and loved it. My dads ribs were some of the best he's had in years he said. We tried this location 3 times. First time we had great friendly service. We tried the lunch specials and they were both good. We were pleasantly surprised so we went back a few weeks later. we had friendly servers but the service was horrible. They just kept walking by and looking at us. Finally we got to order and the food took way too long to come out and it was sub par. We tried again today and we won't be going back. It was a repeat of our last visit. Very friendly staff, we were seated and our drink orders were taken. Then they just kept smiling and walking by. My wife got her soda and about ten minutes later I got my beer. Then they just kept walking by smiling. It actually was laughable. We finally flagged someone down and got our orders placed. It took way to long for our orders especially in an empty restaurant. My wife's sliders were well well done and dry. My mushroom burger was large but also overcooked and really had no flavor. On a positive note the buns were fresh and the fries were excellent. Checkout was quick and painless, Oh wait we checked ourselves out. Lots of better places to eat in the area. read more

This site has been going through intense renovation and upgrading. It was a little difficult during the adjustment phases, but we were there last night and found many things improved. The interior upgrades are very nice. TV's throughout have been added. And, now, there are new touch screen ordering and payment options right on the tables, complete with pictures and descriptions. Very nice. Our server was fairly new to the restaurant and took very good care of us. Overall, nice changes have been going on! Give it a try :) read more

We go to Chili's at Suncoast Blvd in Crystal River once a week for a long time already and have never ever experienced bad service or bad food. I have either Chesedillas, or a half rack of BBQ ribs or like today the Margarita chicken. All delicious, fresh, cooked like they are supposed to. The servers friendly, the food in ample time, regular checks if we need anything extra and the list goes on. I think the complainers will ALWAYS complain and are usually people that don't have a pot to pee in. Don't be fooled our Chili's restaurant in Crystal Rivers is fine.. read more

I hate to give bad reviews to anyone..and I SHOULD have looked to see the reviews before we went here. BUT this is just too bad to NOT say anything. Celebrating my buddy's birthday.. a $140 check and the food was just ok. I ordered MY steak Med Rare.. GOT IT ALMOST WELL DONE !... no time to send it back and WAIT while the others ate.... AND NO ONE CAME BACK AND EVEN ASKED !! the Server did not EVEN ASK us if we needed BUTTER.. for the vegetables....WHY YES WE DID WANT and need it, but didn't get the opportunity..NOR did he ask us if we wanted or needed catsup for our fries.. YES WE DID ..but thankfully the table next to us offered theirs... but the worst. and I am tired of this ALL OVER CRYSTAL RIVER is the SERVICE ! Sat there for almost 15 minutes before getting a server. there were 2 Servers in the bar area.. not that many tables that 2 servers could not EASILY cover it. they JUST DONT CARE or have PRIDE in being a server. GET OUT OF THAT INDUSTRY.. please... please just do us all a favor and DO WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO.. because it is NOT waiting on tables. Won't be back. Food was OK, nothing spectacular, which was not expected. Service was lousy. Our server, Tiffany, seemed to have a real attitude the entire time, as did other women there. Just a whole "whatev" demeanor about them. Took a long time to get our checks (my friend paid by cash but I used the tabletop), and then an even longer time to get his change back, so long that a manager noticed and went around trying to get Tiffany to return. She did, and acted like she was pissed that she had to come back. Needless to say, she got a small tip. In addition, she didn't even refill my tea and she let our used glasses, plates and napkins fill up the entire table and never once cleared the table. It wasn't that busy the night we went, so it was just poor service. I've heard complaints about the servers and their attitudes at Applebee's next door, so maybe it's rubbed off on their neighbor. Perhaps these women should leave their "bad boy" boyfriend/hellion kids drama at home? I'll never return. read more

This lunch visit started off bad and became worse as we went. Finally managed to escape without further injury to myself, bride, or any Chili's personnel. Item number one - the restaurant was EXTREMELY cold - not cool - COLD! My wife ordered the lunch time quesadilla and I ordered the chicken tacos. We received both items with a plethora of grease and they were also cool - not cold, but not HOT. We were both very hungry so we ate as much as possible - actually, I ate all of my lunch and my bride ate SOME of hers. Our waiter did inquire and we told him about the issues we had, but declined the attention of a manager since we did not desire to make any type of issue over the matter. I then ordered, via the Kiosk, a cheesecake for in house with two forks. Following a long wait, our waiter once again came by and inquired if we had ordered the cheesecake. We stated that yes, we had and he replied that the order had not made it to the kitchen and implied that I must have done it wrong on the kiosk. He then ordered it through the same kiosk and promised that the cheesecake would be out shortly. An appropriate amount of time went by and we were served our cheesecake. Then, I attempted to pay via the kiosk. It was then that I discovered that I had been charged for TWO cheesecakes. I vainly attempted to get the attention of our server with no success. Finally, I went to the front and asked the host if he could send some one to assist in getting my bill paid. Upon return to my booth, I discovered that the second cheesecake had now disappeared from our charge. About then a manager came by to discuss the issues. We informed her of the various issues encountered and she apologized profusely and stated that she would have done more IF she had been aware of the problems. We stated that we had thought that they were relatively minor at first, but they just kept getting more and more until they amounted to an extremely unpleasant lunch experience. We only desired to get our bill paid, be assured that we received the appropriate reward points for our lunch visit, and move on down the road. We did so with the knowledge that we have now paid our last visit to this Chili's Restaurant. We LOVE Chili's - just not this one. read more

This place was terribly dirty! I went to the restroom and watched the wait staff tossing food around with the cooks. Many of the tables were loaded with dirty dishes. The men's room was filthy! Visited a Chilis few years ago in a different city, was not impressed with that one , so we decided to try Chilis again..was past lunch rush crowd.was seated rather quickly, waitress was very friendly and brought drinks as ordered..we ordered a appetizer of beef nachos, took a while to get appetizers...and we was disappointed...guess we was expecting more...was approx 8-10 flat nachos with ground beef cheese and such, for price should have been more...We ordered the lunch double cheeseburger , I asked the waitress if I could get my burger medium rare, she said all the burgers was cooked well done...Seemed like it took forever to get our hamburgers, our salad and soup came right out..salad was very good/fresh, but I have to agree with the post about the dressing being very watery...Soup was very good... Arrived at 12pm for lunch. To start the menus were greasy and so were the table advertisements. NASTY! We ordered sodas while we waited and they came back tasting watered down and nothing like soda should. That was only the start. We waited for another party to arrive who walked in the door at 12:08. We placed the order for lunch specials and waited... and waited... At 12:11 our order was placed with the server. However the kiosk did not start registering for another 10 minutes so apparently the server didn't put it in immediately as any good location would have done. After complaining to another staff member at 12:38 we were still waiting for our soup with lunch, the soup FINALLY comes out COLD at 12:41pm! I advised her at that point it was too late and she stated (with attitude in her voice) I will tell the manger to come speak with you) and walked away. We were on lunch break and could not wait. The manager was the only one who seemed sorry at that point but clearly the employees do NOT care about customer service because immediately after they were bad mouthing us not realizing we were still there getting someone else to go order for them. We told the manager we wanted to pay for our sodas and then we left. At that time we went to the carry out to pick up food for another staff member and clearly overheard them badmouthing us as the "impatient party who couldn't wait 13 minutes" Clearly we were there for 41 minutes! Not 13. It is not the customers fault a server didn't input the order in a timely fashion! It should not take 30 minutes to bring out COLD soup when the place was half empty and so was the parking lot. Obviously the soup was cold because it had been sitting out waiting for us. Every other Chili's serves it hot and within MINUTES of you placing your order. Completely unacceptable and the audacity of the employees badmouthing a customer is far worse. I can promise them corporate will hear about that. We have the audio recording to prove it! This reflects on the poorly trained staff and on the company as a whole. read more
