We went for lunch and our visit could be summarized as Food was good , service not so good. We ordered three lunch combos - double hamburger, chicken quesadillas, and the chicken fresh mex bowl. All of them were great. We got seated right away , no wait. A bunch of tables were empty but it still took over ten minutes for someone to greet us and ask for our drink order, another 10 minutes to get our food order. Our waitress never came back refill our drinks even though all three of our glasses sat empty. Shame the front of the house messes it up for the back of the house. read more

I hadn't been to a Chili's in many years and never to this location but some coworkers wanted to go out for lunch and this Chili's in Great Bridge Shopping Center is nearby the office so we came in on a Friday a little before 1 PM. The shopping center is at the intersection of Battlefield Boulevard and Cedar Road, it's fairly large with multiple parking lots which are spacious and well maintained. There are a couple points of ingress and egress, one of which is controlled by a traffic light so getting in and out in any direction is pretty convenient. The restaurant wasn't very full and we were greeted promptly. There were six of us so they pushed a couple tables together for us and took our drink orders. The noise level was pretty low so we were able to enjoy our conversation. I was impressed throughout our visit by the pleasant and efficient staff. Service was spot on and the restaurant appeared clean and attractive. Food and drinks were delivered to the table in a timely fashion with proper pacing, drinks were refilled without prompting. The only issue with the service was that we felt we were a bit rushed near the end of our visit. The server was a little over eager to remove our plates and clear the table. For some reason one of my companions allowed her plate to be cleared even though she was not finished and had intended to eat the rest of her fries. I was eating the last bite of my burger and had to stop chewing to answer the server's query if I was done with my plate. Our experience would have been a tad more pleasant if she had waited another five minutes before asking to clear items from the table. Everyone was very happy with their food. I had the Just Bacon Burger for $10.69. It was accompanied with delicious French Fries presented attractively in a perforated metal basket lined with paper. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy and seasoned just right. The outside was pleasantly crisp and the inside was nice and tender. I had to admit that my burger was really delicious. The huge half pound burger was piled high with bacon (refer to my pictures, the most bacon I've ever seen on a burger) and layered with cheddar, pickles, red onion, shredded lettuce and tomato. It was served on a toasted brioche bun. A pleasant garlic aioli and mayonnaise were served on the side. Everything blended together to make a very enjoyable burger. It was tender and juicy, seasoned to perfection and very delicious. I didn't taste anyone else's food but everyone was very pleased with their orders. Chicken and Waffles, Triple Dipper (Southwestern Egg Rolls were a big hit), Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas, etc... Everyone was really happy and satisfied with their food. I will return to Chili's to try more of the menu. I understand there is a rewards program that I plan to check out and I saw a few things on the menu that interested me. I appreciate the free guest Wi-Fi which is available to rewards members. It's probably been twenty years since I visited a Chili's restaurant, I'm sure my next visit will be much sooner. read more

This place of eatery has foamy soap that has a light scent. I was able to thoroughly wash my hands in one pump of the dispenser. Speaking of soap dispensers, this establishment has automatic ones! We went to this chilis on Saturday night for dinner. It was the WORST EVER!!! We were told it wud be 25 to 30 min wait on a table. We went to the bar to wait n ordered a drink n chips. The bar was sticky n dirty. We finally were seated after 45 mins. Not one person in the whole place acknowledged us. Not one!! So after 25 mins I asked a waitress who our waiter was. She wasn't our waitress but took our order. No drinks were offered. Still waiting for 40 more minutes, no food. So we walked out. I know they are short staffed but someone could have acknowledged us. Ok me and my wife came in and waited at the door to get a table for 15 mins. It was only 3 other tables . So when we was waiting we got some menu to have our orders ready. We got a table and the server took our order for drinks and food. We waited 15 mins and didn't get our drinks yet, but the family of five that come in 30 mins after us got their drinks before us. Food finally comes and my wife order is all wrong, but my food was right. I ended up eating all my food before she got her meal. No one came back to the table to ask if we was ok, no refill on my drink and I just had a tea. This is just sad and I can see why they only had four tables. To make it no better! The waiter came by my table multiple times and said they'd be right with me but then took a while to get to my table and went to a table that came in after me before coming to me, when I ordered my food I ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas without lettuce and ranch and bacon and all that and had sour cream with it but when I got my order I was missing a quesadilla, there was a bunch of lettuce and no sour cream at all with little to none cheese. While waiting for our waiter to come take our orders the lights cut out and didn't come back on for at least 2 minutes. Tonight, my daughter and spouse dined in at your restaurant and received the worst treatment one could imagine. When they were seated, they did not receive any napkins or silverware. My spouse ordered for my daughter first so her food could arrive early while she decided. The waitress brought out my daughter drink with no straw and no napkins. My daughter accidently spilled her soda due to trying to drink it with no straw. When she spilled it, she wanted to clean it up but had no napkins. This caused her to get frustrated and express her frustration. My daughter is autistic and non-verbal. She uses sign language to communicate. The waitress seemed annoyed with my daughter and her presence. As my spouse and daughter stood up to go to the restroom the waitress put dirty dishes on the table and picked up my daughters backpack to hand it to my spouse. My spouse shared she was only going to the restroom and please do not put dirty dishes on the table when my daughter's food was on the table. The waitress made a comment about my daughter being difficult and thought they were leaving. The waitress got hostile and made inappropriate comments towards special needs kids. My spouse did raise her voice and the waitress said she felt unsafe. My spouse is the calmest most levelheaded person I know and even if her voice was elevated she was not yelling. I'm the yeller lol. The waitress went to the back to grab someone who asked my spouse to leave the Chilis. At this time my wife did not yell but you could hear the annoyance in her voice and her voice was slightly elevated. My spouse and daughter were removed from their table and forced to wait in the lobby for a manager. The manager finally greeted my spouse and said the employee was wrong. My spouse and child were seated and allowed to eat. The manager did waive the cost of the meal and apparently the employee was sent home but any employee of Chilis should never feel it is acceptable to mistreat a special needs child or their parent because you do not know how to deal with it. We eat out often and around town. No one has ever treated us this way. My daughter is not perfect, but she was not causing a scene and not louder than the drunk adults seated next to them. They were having a good time and I was not complaining. No patience, understanding or customer service was offered to my family until the manager was involved. We are two black women raising a special needs child and Chilis defined discrimination tonight. I'm hurt, mad, sad, and angry because the audacity of the waitress was beyond anything we have ever experienced. My daughter does not have a voice, but her parents do. This waitress should have never touched our things, never suggested for them leave, and not tried to force them to leave. My daughter was not having a tantrum and her mom did not lose it. This was unacceptable. I hope you don't ignore this letter and do something so another family never feels how my family felt tonight. read more

Food was great as always. Our server was absolutely delightful and attentive. We did have to wait a bit longer than usual for the food, but again, it was wonderful. The faucet in the women's bathroom was for some reason only pouring out hot water. No cold water was coming out, I had to talk to the manager. I had the shrimp tacos which was delivered with yummy black beans and cilantro rice. Hubby had the 10oz sirloin with avocado and asparagus (medium rare). This was amazing! I will be ordering this next time. Our little one ordered the cheese pizza with mandarin oranges. We also had the salted caramel dessert. Amazing service, delicious food! Always a great choice for lunch or dinner. The servers are always nice and very helpful Everyone is always polite the food is consistent and delicious. Everyone knows about Chili's but the one thing I want to talk about it's a Rewards app which is pretty cool every visit I can either get a free drink or salsa also they do special promotions last time I was there I got a free appetizer of 10 wings just by having the app. Free is always good LOL. The app emails you different discounts and Deals which is pretty great especially if you're already going to eat there Chili's is right down the street from my job so it's kind of a first choice to go to for lunch and with the app rewards program it makes it even better. read more

I ate here on Saturday. Woke up after having some Friday night beer and really had a hungering for a huge portion of chicken fajitas. I knew Chili's was nearby and so I headed on over. The restaurant is typical of Chili's and it was very clean. Since I got there about 2:30pm it was not very busy at all and I was seated right away. I ordered the chicken enchilada soup and chicken fajitas. I was in the mood for some lemonade so I got some of that with some water to rehydrate my hangover. Unfortunately the lemonade was way too sweet so I asked the waitress to add a half a glass of water to it and then it was good. I got my chicken enchilada soup and WOW! It was very, very good soup. In fact I think next time I will get a whole bowl. The fajitas came out about 10 minutes later and (see pic) were just as delicious as I imagined. The portion was bigger than I imagined too but I was so hungry I ate 90% of it before giving up. Maybe I'm just a smaller eater than used to or else maybe Chili's chicken fajitas have gotten bigger portion-wise but I never remember not finishing their fajitas before. I think my final tab with tip was about $23-25 so it wasn't exactly cheap for a lunch but I was stuffed, got in and out quick, got my hangover eliminated and the food was delicious so I'm not complaining. If you're looking for massive, delicious chicken fajitas look no further. P.S. I added beans and rice to my order for $2, in hindsight I don't think I needed to and next time I will just order the regular meal. And probably still have some leftover. read more

A chain is a chain...I'm not going to be a food snob and act like I'm above a chain restaurant. Truth be told...I dig buffalo wings, the southwestern egg rolls and am still PISSED that they got rid of the Awesome Blossom but there's no need to get into that right now. Chili's food was fine. My waiter, who looked like Sayid from the show "Lost", was a great, laid back and on par. Only 2 complaints...it was muggy outside and it felt equally muggy inside. Perhaps their AC was on the fritz? Who knows. The second one is that the seats feel as if you are sitting on a tempur-pedic mattress. (I pride myself on my posture, man and here my ass is sinking in quicksand!) Chili's has a great friendly local neighborhood bar experience. Our servers are always great and bubbly. I have noticed a few that are not lackluster at best but we have always been lucky. They are consistent and you know what you are getting and what the price is. Try their fall pumpkin margarita it is FANTASTIC. Tastes nothing like pumpkin IMHO but it is absolutely yummy. Take advantage of their bar prices if you can. Who can beat a $5 margarita?! read more

For a New Year's evening, this place was very quiet. The bar tender was nowhere to be seen when we walked in, and it took about 10 minutes before we were actually able to order our drink. The drink was warm and tasted old. The bar tender graciously switched it out for something else but never asked why I wanted to switch. The bar tender would disappear for 10-15 minutes and never ask if we needed another drink when she did come back. My husband had to loudly ask for another drink as she was walking away from us. I took my family to Chiles located in Great Bridge, Chesapeake, VA on the 3rd of March 2024. After I paid the bill with the kiosk box on the table, the waitress informed us that the box was on the wrong table, and we paid the wrong bill. She claimed she refunded us our money and put the correct bill on the box which we paid. Over a week later, I still did not receive the refund, I went to the restaurant and talked with manager Diane Ramirez. She started looking into it but could not find the transaction and stated she would research it and contact me. I heard from her the next day stating that she still could not find it and had to get her financial department to investigate it. After another week's passing and not hearing anything, I made another visit to the restaurant. This time a manager-in-training came out, which was the only manager on duty, he told me he could not do anything, and I could contact corporate. I asked for a phone number, after about ten minutes he handed me a phone number and walked away without saying anything. I called the number while still at the restaurant and discovered he had given me a number to their gift card center. After locating another employee to inform me that the number given to me was wrong, the employee found another number to call. When I attempted to call it informed me that nobody was in. This was at noon that day. I attempted the next day to call and got the same result. I was finally refunded my money a few days later but never received a call to inform that it was going to happen and never received an apology. I will not be returning nor ever recommend them. read more

Not the best food. I'm so disappointed with this location. The service was good but the food was not. I understand its a Saturday night but the food tasted as if it was rushed and it was cold. The table side guacamole was the best thing that came to our table. My son enjoyed his Alfredo and chicken although it could of used more sauce. My Loaded mash potatoes should have had melted cheese instead it was cold(yuck).The Broccoli should have been steamed until soft, not hard as a rock. My biggest complaint was the baby back ribs. Omg they were awful, even after sending them back and getting a new order was awful. No sauce was hardly on the ribs, dry as ashy elbows. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my waiter phenomenal and as sweet as pie. It sucks that food wasn't good, as of right now I will not be returning to this location. They left out half of our delivery order, are not answering the phones so you can't call them about issues, and paid no attention to detail on the food items that actually made it into the delivery. I joined chillis rewards while there and the server immediately brought our free chips and Salsa. Portions are big and you have an option to order "lunch size" on some items, which is half portions. I used to take the family here often. But a few months ago we had a less than stellar experience. We went back today and it has only gotten worse. We checked in ahead of time and when we arrived, there were only 5 tables occupied. We still waited 10 minutes to be seated. We waited another 10 minutes before anyone stopped to get drink orders. I ordered the fajitas and the vegetables were undercooked and they didn't come out sizzling which is part of the appeal of having fajitas. My sons both got the chicken pasta. One had the Texas toast with it and the other did not. We were out of drinks for most of the meal. I had to ration mine because I was afraid if I drank it all, I wouldn't get anymore. There were people who came in after us that ordered and got served before we did. There was no shortage of staff, we saw plenty of people working. However, the service was very slow and not what you would expect from a Chili's. I doubt I will be back to this Chili's. read more

I never write bad reviews but can't help myself. Food was SUPER salty and service terrible. I had soup, Cajun shrimp pasta and husband had a burger and fries. Pasta was undercooked, warm, not hot, over salted but little flavor at all. Burger looked amazing but was over salted and fries were cold. Our poor waitress was in training and her trainer didn't have her come back once. We needed drinks before we were two bits into our meal. Nobody ever came back. I came here with my family and I recently switched to eating vegan so I had done some research beforehand. I had read somewhere that the Mexican rice was made w butter so I asked my server and she just said "umm I don't know". I kind of expected her to be more accommodating, maybe offer to ask the chef. But eh, whatever I won't die. So I ordered the black bean and veggies fajitas and asked for no cheese or sour cream. I got my fajitas and they had GOAT cheese all on top...like ok if it was regular cheese I would've just said fuck it and ate it...but goat cheese...on fajitas. It was nowhere in the description. I was hungry so I just took it off the top. I'm honestly not vegan 24/7 (I try) so consuming some animal products isn't THAT big a deal to have the whole plate thrown away and wasted. Then, I figured out they chop up a black bean burger, which I read has eggs in it, and put it on top. Ughhhhh. However, I ate some because again, I'm newly vegan I'm not going to die from a little cheese and egg so I'm not going to demand a remake of my plate. Anyways, overall I think they should be just a litttleeee more sensitive to those who come in with diet preferences/needs. Luckily, I'm not super strict on myself but I'm looking out for future customers who may not be as lenient as I am. We eat at this Chili's all the time but tonight was an awful experience. We ordered online for curbside pickup, as we do a lot. My husband arrived at chili's within the time frame that they told us to arrive in. We don't have a problem waiting a little for the food, however, he waited for over 30 minutes for our food. He would have waited longer if I didn't call them. When he got home, our food was freezing cold! Not one thing was even warm. One of the items we ordered was the Cajun chicken pasta and it was missing the bread that went with it. I like to take my time eat, but when you have a kid you need people to be on their "A" game when it counts to serving. I came in the other night with my son and two friends. We got a seat quickly. It didn't seem too busy. The inside is nicely decorated, and the outdoor seating seemed really nice and clean. When the hostess took us to our table... Our table was super dirty. There were tons of other clean seats open. We say at the booth while the hostess went to get a a rag to clean our table. We waited awhile for our waiter and finally he showed up and asked what we wanted to drink. After about 10 min a couple if us got our drinks. Not everyone. He then switched with a waitress to take our table. So now we had a new person serving us and it took forever for get to take it order, and she still didn't bring everyone's drinks. My son started to get cranky for sitting so long that by the time I got my food I couldn't even enjoy it. She offered him oranges, and I said "oh ok"... Then when I got my bill... She charged me for oranges. I thought she was trying to be nice and offer oranges so my son would calm down. He doesn't even like citrus fruits. I just wanted my boxes and check. My check was all messed up. It was all a hassle and my food wasnt even that great. Not hot... portions were small. When I lived in Kuwait the chilis there was amazing. Quick service. Hot food.
