Another amazing meal with amazing food and service was spot on today!! Very clean and very busy We decided to go to Chili's today for lunch. We started with a nice margarita each. Very tasty. We decided to share an Old Timer with cheese add jalapenos. A side of mayo as we share this meal and I have to have my mayo and a side of ranch for my fries. We do not like the burger cut in kitchen as we like to rearrange the toppings, so it is equal for both sides when it is cut. We always order the burger pink in the middle. Just our preference. The grill master whom we found has been there 11 years knows what he is doing. Had the Chilis reward for the chips and salsa. Once you learn how to do the rewards on the kiosk, it's really worth it. Our server was Sara and she was on point 100%. Quick, efficient and on her game. We have had her before, and this is just her style!! Will always be an ask for her trip now. We got the pleasure to speak to the Manager Shawn. This is the kind of manager you want in a restaurant. She has been on point since the first time we've come here which has been a few years and we become actually quite often we always like to sit in her area. The burger is pretty good. I have to say. We haven't been to Chili's in over 10 years since we moved to the West coast. The restaurant looked new and spacious inside with multiple TV's to watch sporting events. The hostess and waitress were friendly. The waitress was very busy though covering a lot of tables. The trio dip appetizer was generous and tasted great. I must have been very hungry since I dove in to eat my entree and dessert and forgot to take pics. The baby bag ribs were a little dry and could have used more sauce. My friends and I decided to have lunch here today. It's been years since I've been to a Chili's Restaurant. We were greeted immediately when we walked in and they placed us at a table that accommodated the size of our group. I ordered the smash burger lunch special with ice tea and salsa and chips for my appetizer. The chips were warm, thin and crispy. There was a generous amount of chips they gave me. It was good. My burger was cooked perfectly and with the fries, there was plenty of food. The service was excellent. Our waitress kept my ice tea full and checked on us periodically. Everyone in our lunch group was very satisfied and impressed with the food and the service. The atmosphere was great. It wasn't too busy, no loud music so we all could talk to each other while we enjoyed our food. We'll be adding this place to our lunch rotation. read more

For being a popular fast chain restaurant, you just can't go wrong with chilis. Service is always fast, food is usually good, especially for the price point. Everyone is friendly that we have encountered. Best chocolate lava cake in town (maybe the world?). On our most recent visit we were in and out in like 1.5 hours from walking in to paying and leaving. It's great! I had a burger and it was good and even my leftovers reheated well. About a year later and I can still say that my original review still stands. This is still a Chili's and while its got some flaws, its a solid and reliable choice. After several dozen visits over the time that I have lived in Carson City I keep going back to this Chili's for the value, the fairly dependable service, and the almost always tasty food. Many folks in the area must think the same because this joint is always full and have plenty of hustle and bustle going on! I'm staying here at Tahoe for the Labor Day weekend and I got invited down to Carson for lunch by a friend. I've been on a Chili's kick lately cause of this super "3 for Me" deal they have going now. I suggested Chili's in Carson to have the deal. You get a big 1/2 pound burger fries AND a salad AND a drink for just $10.99! That's cheaper than fast food for all those items, even cheaper than In N Out and there's no salad there! We get there and get a nice seat in a booth. The server is over right away to get drink orders. We order our free drinks and then I decided to join the Chili's online club, so at every visit we get a free big giant bowl of chips and salsa at the table! Can't beat that! We both order the Old Timer burger, instead of the Smasher Burger being promoted all over the internet. I've had the Smasher a bunch of times and actually prefer the Old Timer cause it has all the normal stuff in a burger like lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, where the Smasher just has 1000 Island dressing and onions. Both the patties are the same big 1/2 pounder. Here's a tip with the included salads, request it on a plate, otherwise it comes stuffed into a little bowl and as you try to eat it, the salad falls all over the table! You get choice of dressing including Caesar. You get more on a plate too! The burger arrives, looking quite impressive with the big meat all pushing out beyond he bun. I hate when you run outta meat and end of with bun and no meat near the end ... not here ... lot's of meat! The fries are all hot and crispy and our drinks are refilled without asking! This is a super tasty meaty burger! This Carson City Chili's is pretty much like all the rest of the Chili's I've been to, good service and now a great deal on food. I never came to Chili's before seeing this deal, I hope it lasts! you can even pay using the tablet thingy on the table, no waiting around for the check and credit card to be processed and then signing the thing. Went there today and got pasta with shrimp. The pasta was under cook and very chewy. Sent it back for a one that was cooked right. It came back and I ate my meal. When I was going to pay my bill on the kiosk the bill came to $17.00 but the 20% tip was over $7.00. That right there tells my they don't have any respect gor their guest by ripping us off with double the amount of tips it should be. Piss poor attitude towards guests. read more

Service has typically been outstanding except the one weekend evening during rush hour; they brought out the bowl of soup right away, but I never did get my tea or salad. On 12/6/2025 my wife and I ordered the big appetizer plate which included chicken crispies, and another order of chicken crispies dinner.... The only thing we ate that was in common was the chicken crispies. For the next three days after this meal, me and my wife experienced frequent diarrhea and stomach cramps we believe we had food poisoning as direct consumption of food from this chilies in Carson City, Nevada..... This will end our relationship with chilies altogether it was not a pleasant sickness and seemed to hang on forever... consideration on filing a report with the health department is still pending. read more

I love Chili's, they have such a great variety of food and I go there frequently. I really love the triple dipper because I love the big mouth fight burgers, and the southwest eggrolls so I always have plenty for lunch and food to take home. The avocado dip for the eggrolls is to die for and the chips are so crispy and Light with a delicious salsa. Bryce was our server, a really nice looking young man, so accommodating and friendly, and made sure that we had plenty of refills on our beverages. My girlfriend's order came out wrong because they put guacamole on it and she asked for it to come out plain, so he immediately took it back and brought her the correct burger. my girlfriend has food allergies so she has to be very careful and he made sure that when he brought the second burger out it was perfect. We were both so full. We had no room for dessert, but they have such a great variety next time I think I'm going to save some room for their wonderful dessert. read more

I live in South Tahoe. When ever we go toward Carson City we look forward to going to Chilli's. I have to admit, I usually just order the crunchy chicken salad with avocado, a spicy buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. (getting hungry thinking about it.) Friends orders always also look great. I was just telling my mom this week, while she was eating a burger that was so big and juicy she had a hard time eating it, "Chili's must hire only friendly people. ALL the people that work there are always so friendly and accommodating. It is amazing. Right down to filling the water glasses. Yes, people go to restaurant to eat. No matter the day and time we come here, they do a great job. The staff always has a good attitude no matter the situation. Clearly everywhere is short staffed so sometimes there is a bit of a wait for food, but for the most part we have had a great experience. The reason for 4 stars is because underneath their booths on the ground is always pretty gross and has debris of some sort. The food is always hot and has a consistent flavor. Food was terrible. Everything was over salted. Ordered Rib eye medium rare. Got a fatty over cook grisly piece of meat that was as thick as a Denny's pancake. Over salted also. A common trick to pass on poor quality and older foods is to salt it up. The amount t of salt added to the food caused me to take a huge drink of water with every bite. The server was great with keeping my water glass filled up so thumbs up to the server. Even the macaroni and cheese which look good in the picture, but it was overrated so much I couldn't eat it either. So I tried to each the broccoli. It wasn't even cooked. It was warm and lacked the signature green luster of a cooked vegetable. I was raised to clean you plate no matter what because there were starving Ethiopians. I tried but I couldn't finish a single item of food other then my glass of water. Chili's used to be my wife and I "go-to" spot for a date night back before we were married and first moved to Nevada. That two-for-$20 deal they used to run was a life saver for our budget back then. These days, we tend to eat at nicer places but we still like to come back from time to time. We usually never have an issue with the customer service. Some servers have been better than others but that's the nature of the industry. The food has stayed consistent over the years. Some compare Chili's as a clone of Applebee's but I disagree. I've never had anything good to say about Applebees. The food here is a few notches above them, in my opinion. While we don't dine here nearly as often anymore, I think it's still a great place to eat. They don't do the two-for-$20 deal anymore but they do run comparable deals at different price points for just about every budget. read more

Since it was a to-go order, we didn't know until we got home. The chicken crispers were very small, slightly longer than my thumb. The chicken for one of the 2 orders was not only small, but overcooked. The amount of fries given was very small as well as mostly being the small bits you'd find at the bottom of a bag. The steak was over cooked and the asparagus was way too salty (as were the chips). Even the broccoli tasted bad. The mashed potatoes were ok, though. We're on vacation and my family wanted chilis. Service was nice. Not attentive at all. 3 out of 9 of our dinners came out wrong. Our waters sat empty for the whole dinner after asking several times. We were forgotten about pretty much. Our food came out after 2 other large parties that were sat after us. Our dessert took at least 20 minutes, I eventually stacked our dishes and put them on the other dirty table next to us. So we had room for our dessert on our table.
