I have been to this location many times, so I guess it's time to finally review it. First of all, the staff is great. I have had probably 3 or 4 different servers, all top-notch. Food is standard Chilli's, I usually get either a "3 for me" or chicken dippers. They are always served quickly and as advertised. Service was great. Our server was super sweet! The fajitas were really good, except the beans... funky after taste... so we did not eat those. The beef queso was good as well. Just an overall really good lunch! The staff seems to interact well and management is table touching constantly. I'm not sure why they have such low reviews but we had a great experience. Great service with Crystal! She is our favorite server. And today she was training Kyle who seems like the perfect person to work there. If Chrystal is training him he will do great. The food was amazing! We always come in for the chicken fajitas. They are the best fajitas around. The chicken is just cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef who cooks them. Not a bad place you get way you pay for. It's quick and friendly but the food isn't the best. Seemed like all the meals I had lacked in the seasoning area. It was bland then suddenly you'd get a big chunk of salt. Not bad though, it was still good enough to finish the whole plate. I would come again for a quick meal and maybe a couple of drinks! Out of all the things I had I recommend the quesadillas over the others. The season was clumpy at the edges but I loved the bacon, cheese, and ranch flavor to it. I can't name our help as it seemed like we had an army of folks serving us. However, they were all friendly, smiling, and attentive. We placed our orders on the 3 for $9.99 offer. This entitles you to a drink, app, and your main course. Food came quickly, was prepared correctly, and was piping hot. It appears to me that all the newness issues have been solved. I would like to welcome Chili's to our neighborhood. Our dinner was very good. The Country fried steak was delicious. I had the broccoli as my side and the vegetable was fresh. We also had the 3 for $10.99, we chose our drink, fries and bacon burger. Super good. All the waitstaff was super attentive and courteous. It is the best Chili's I've ever visited. This Chili's is newly-built and definitely has the smell and modern design that you would expect. The menu is your typical is chili menu great appetizers and the Cajun pasta is to die for. The servings are rather large so when I take the kids we usually end up splitting some of it. The wait staff is helpful and very attentive. They did emphasize the integration of the wraparound u-shaped bar as most a lot of the Chili's in Applebee's have. Great interior design! read more

They gave my food to the wrong person then refused to refund my order. Basically stole from me. I would not recommend this establishment.

The service here was great and the restaurant itself is clean and nice but the food was not the greatest. The white cheddar Mac and cheese was super salty and the queso dip tasted like can chili and for 10 bucks you hardly get much at all. I got the chicken wings and my wife got the ribs and we did not take home the left overs and I always take left overs if I don't finish. I think it's a good spot to take the kids but if you're a foodie this is not the place. Probably won't ever eat here again, sorry Chili's. read more

We had Stacy as our server, friendly and checked back with us often throughout our meal. We ordered the bottomless chips and salsa, dangerously good. While we were sipping on our margaritas we noticed the place was quite busy and quite loud. Good place for family gatherings, kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. For entrees I had the quesadilla explosion salad and hubby had the old timers burger with a side salad. My salad was a very generous portion and citrus balsamic dressing was tangy, very good. Well well. I really wanted to have the best of hopes for a new chilis closer to home but after 12 minutes for a water at the bar. It didn't start off to well. We walked into a "30 minute wait " with 3 visible open booths so decided to sit at the bar! Thankfully it was clean and had some baseball on! So when we sat down we decided on ordering trio sampler because fried pickles sounded mmmm mm good. Only to find out, no fried pickles for me. They were all out! Anyways.... Lets chat about the service ... Two bartenders, and 7-10 servers they are covering the floor well- by attending to each table. Maybe not as often as you may like but they really are trying! Just be patient, and realize the personality ranges person to person and maybe you'll get one of the 2 with a little customer service skills. They may be a little rough to handle but I think that stems from the team not getting along with each other as you hear enough about how much they don't like each other in the kitchen.... As well as the little attitude over their ear pieces. Let's get back to that food, a Sante fe veggie burger and Buffalo bone in wings! Let's do this, nothing too difficult! They brought out the food to us. my boneless wings were bone in and this carnivore isn't doing that today, so they took those back to bring me the right order of bone in. As my friend was getting ready to dive into her Sante fe burger..... so, you see in the photos the sante fe burger looked great, until you see the sad little piece of avocado... thankfully our server noticed it and brought extra avocado for the burger to be a real Sante Fe style burger SHE MADE IT ALL BETTER..... Then she Brought out a smoking hot plate of Bone In Wings, fresh and hot out of the fryer, literally smoking! I was pumped about this meat, until my very first Bite into my wing, the chicken was undercooked. I spread the piece of chicken open to show the bartender and as we all gagged when we saw the pink meat of the chicken just there in front of us. . She took my plate quickly and went to order me a new plate but I decided at that point I wasn't hungry anymore.... Who knows, it maybe a new cook, maybe under staffed in kitchen, or maybe the fryer wasn't working right.... But it's Undercooked Chicken!! The bartender, Daisy was making sure to make it the best experience possible. She confronted the kitchen as the manger walked into and out of kitchen I really thought he'd come to check on us to see how he could make it right... ha, I thought wrong, he walked towards us only to turn away. And not even address us. Daisy thankfully apologies again and tries everything to give us a better experience, but let's just be honest .... Timing was poor, a little mix up on the order, undercooked chicken, and my water cup had some green stuff if it, but thankfully I just chocked that little part up to the dishwasher..... because The cup was still warm. So it was clean! (Plus I didn't notice it until I had taken a nice big swig already) So in short, I fasted for dinner tonight. read more

First of all, we waited for at least 15 minutes for waitress to come take our order. She brought our menus and drinks right away and then...we waited... Finally , we got the attention of another waitress and she told our waitress we were waiting. Ordered the triple dipper appetizer with southwestern egg rolls; mozzarella sticks and beef sliders. Then we ordered crispy chicken(4pc) and (5pc). Children's meal with chicken sliders and ear of corn. Appetizer came and beef sliders were fine; mozzarella sticks were ok; southwest egg rolls were terrible. They appeared to have been "sitting" for a while and then stuck in microwave and looked and tasted awful... Our food came and child's corn looked dehydrated cause it was shriveled...waitress brought another corn and it looked better but had a nasty taste(two people tasted it besides the child)...I didn't let him eat it because I was afraid it would make him sick. Our crispers came and the chicken was cold; fries were fresh and good; Mac and cheese was cold. Manager came over and we showed her...and she took our plates and brought us new food. The chicken was freshly cooked and fries were fine; Mac and cheese was still barely warm and very bland. I ate at this establishment when it first opened and it was not good; this was my second try...there will NOT be a third....VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

We've dined at numerous Chilis for years...Our favorite appetizer is the chips / skillet queso. Unfortunately this location does not give you much queso at all. I've included a photo to illustrate how deep it is. I've also included a photo from a Chilis advertisement showing how much they normally include. I get the need to raise the price from $7.29 to $8.19 across all locations but don't dupe us into thinking this is an adequate amount. For a table of 3 you would need at least 3 small skillets compared to other locations in the past. It seems they all might be doing this to cut back. Not only that but our food was cold, had to be sent back. Refills never came and items were left off of main dishes (toast etc). This Bulverde location has been open long enough to have the kinks worked out. Friendly staff but cutting corners. read more

Starting at $10.99, you get an drink, appetizer and an entree. The portions are large (see Cajun Chicken Pasta) and well-worth the price. The burger patty was thick, juicy and 100% beef. My friend and I come here often for lunch or to get take-out. We used to visit the local fast food chains. However, we found that for the same price, we can get a burger or chicken sandwich and fries for the same price. Not only that, the food tastes so much better and we don't have to wait in line at the busy drive-thru, we just order ahead on the app, check in when we get to the restaurant and they bring it right out. Doesn't get any better than that. Their mushroom swiss burger, chicken sandwich, fries and mini molten chocolate cake are to die for. Chili's is our new go-to for delicious food. The only take away is that if you sit in the bar area it is pretty loud but that's because people are having fun which is a good thing, lol. read more

This is a 5 Star Chili's! I have been here twice and both times were fantastic! It's clean! The staff is so friendly! The food was really good! This location is run by a top tier restaurant manager who teaches their team excellent customer service. Everyone is hard at work and so kind. The bartender makes fantastic drinks and he has such a positive attitude. Our waiter was great and very polite. The food runners were awesome. This was just an unexpected awesome experience! Great job to this team at chilis! The mini burgers were delicious and my stepson loved the fried mozzarella! Chips were delicious because the oil is fresh! I think it's lame you can't order a drink at the bar and drink it in the waiting area while you wait for your table. Update: someone commented on my review and said they can't keep a tab if we aren't seated. That is understandable, but that's not what I was referring to. I was saying we can't go up to the bar, order a drink, pay for it, and then drink it in the waiting area. I've been to a lot of places that do allow that. Most of the time it wouldn't bother me, but the day that I wrote this, we were quoted an hour and a half wait and we wanted to drink a margarita while we waited, but there were 5 of us and we couldn't all fit at the bar, and we really wouldn't want to take up the space and time there while we were waiting to drink one margarita anyway. read more
