What a horrible experience! We went the other night for my cousin's boyfriend's birthday. The waiter took 20 minuted to come to the table to introduce himself and take our drink order. When he (Joe) finally came he claimed it took him so long because the utensils were not done in the dishwasher. Whatever that means. I'm not a huge fan of chili's to be honest. I would actually prefer Applebee's to chili's but I digress. The food is standard across the board. Nothing wows you on the menu and there's really no draw to chili's. The honey chipotle chicken crispers are pretty good and the chicken Mex bowl thing isn't bad, there are a multitude of restaurants I would go to before chili's but in pinch for food it can be passable at worst and okay at best. A classic favorite hangout spot for me and my friends. You know it's a good place when you have a favorite waitress/bartender. While it is not super fancy (it is a chain after all) everything I have ever had has been delicious and I have never once had to send anything back. There are always deals going on (i.e. 2 for $20) so you can eat without breaking the bank. I like the food here and the margaritas are awesome, but I had a pretty lousy takeout experience recently. I ordered online to-go, and called to add an additional item around the time my order was supposed to be ready. Well, they said 13 minutes and it still wasn't ready after 20. Got to my car and checked the receipt to make sure everything was there and it was. Yet, I had a feeling I should check the bag. Turns out the last item I added didn't make it to the bag but they definitely charged me for it. So I went in and was given a little attitude from the bartender when I said I had a missing item. At least I got a "sorry about that" when I was handed the missing food. Sigh... maybe the Farmingdale location can do better. Also, Chilis, your mugs are nasty and are ALWAYS dirty. Yuck. read more

Came here for lunch, Brandon was our server. He came up to my friend and I quickly was on the ball with service and very knowledgeable with the menu. We always had refills never had to ask for anything. Checked in on us made sure everything was ok, and if we needed anything. Just gave us overall great service. And food was great. Mike was our server on 08/18/2018. We should have known to leave when the couple next to us stood up and walked out right after we sat down because they waited an hour and forty mins for their food. We went at 7:06 and took 15 to just get our drinks, and then 30 mins to get our app! The app was fried pickles and they were sub-par. Then the food came 10 mins later (we'd been there an hour at this point) and things were wrong. My mom asked for broccoli and got fries. Instead of letting her keep the fries, the girl who dropped our food snatched the fries off her plate and brought it back to the kitchen (to throw out? To reuse? I don't know why she wouldn't just let her keep them). She came back out with the broccoli and it was inedible. I asked for a side of ranch and she never came back with it. I ordered the salmon with no sause, and it came that way but I took three bites and each bite had bones in it!! I got it sent back and the new salmon that came out had the sauce on it. Our server acknowledges this, and instead of going back to change it says that he sees the sauce is on here and hopes "that isn't terrible". Awful customer service. He didn't even offer to take it off the bill and at that point, he really should have. When we asked him at the end what was going on he blamed it on the restaurant getting busy and his partner "not being as good as he should be". He didn't take any blame. My mother was generous and tipped him $10 but he surely didn't deserve it. We have never had such a bad experience here but won't be returning any time soon. read more

Restrooms were not clean and trash receptacle was overflowing. There were fries, napkins, even utensils all over the floor and under most of the tables. They turned the AC on (February) and it was blowing right on our table so we had to move. The waiter was horrible. I had to go find the waiter to tell him my wife's fajita's came without the wrap, so my fries were no longer hot by the time I got back and ate them. This was by far the worst chili's I've ever been to! The "smoked" wings were disgusting. As soon as I took one bite, I was asking my fiancé if he thought they were cooked all the way through because it didn't look that to me and On top of that, they were very greasy and they were brought out without any blue cheese or sauce. Who wants wings without sauce or blue cheese? I also ordered the ancho salmon, which I get all of the time from other chili's establishments and this came out terrible too. The salmon was ok, I think they just put too much sauce on top ( I guess they had to redeem themselves for the sauce less "smoked" wings I ordered previously) and the rice portion wasn't the typical ratio it should be. It was barely any rice on the plate. My fiancé got "sizzling" chicken fajitas but the plate must've been exhausted because it wasnt actually sizzling. it was making the sizzling sound but no smoke lmao. Chicken was cold and the peppers weren't cooked. To top it all off, two dead fruit flies were in my wine... awesome! If you need something quick around this area, go to Applebee's or a local pub. I had such a great time last night for dinner. The bartender was on point with the menu and the cocktails were great! Going back today for a sunday brunch, the experience was the total opposite from what I experienced last night. Me and my friend were left at the bar with empty drinks for 15 min, dirty dishes were kept in front of us for the rest of our dining experience. We wanted another round of drinks and desert after.. but since we got ignored we finally got the bartenders attention and checked out. Nonetheless, we were the only 3 people at the bar. We came here at 2:30 on a Sunday and it wasn't packed at all. We were standing by the waiting area and wanted to be seated but the people in front of us was waiting for a table for a party of 16. Therefore, none of the staff came to seat us and we were a party of 3. There were many booths open and it was like we were invisible! After about 15 minutes of waiting, more people came in and was able to catch a waitress and ask how long to be seated. She had an attitude and said they are busy setting up for the large party. Well, we left! Horrible.. all the workers just passed us by and said nothing! They were moving really slow and didn't care who was waiting. Great value. Good for drinks and economic dinner/lunch. 2 for $22 offers 1 appetizer and 2 entrees ranging from a small steak to ribs. Drinks are 2 for one but very diluted, I recommend wine or beer as those are straight from the bottle/draft. read more

I placed an order on Sunday, November 6th at 5:51pm via phone as the online application said that "one or more of the items I selected was unavailable at this location, please call the store". I successfully placed the same order on the phone and the order taker told me 15-20 minutes. I get to the store surprised to see many cars on the to-go side. I walk in to the small To-go area where I see a decent amount of people waiting. The cashier, which I later found out to be a manager, was quick to make sure she got everyone addressed and paid for. While waiting I noticed a lot of yelling coming from the kitchen such as items having to be re-fired because this is "old" and I can't serve this and or confusions about orders. The kitchen area in the back is somewhat open so you can see into it when waiting. I noticed pieces of food and other garbage on the floor. When the cashier couldn't find some orders I noticed she asks several times to several people if they placed their order over the phone or online. Orders for people ahead of me were eventually resolved and people left. At this time it's now 40 minutes in to when I placed my order and there's 3 of us left waiting for our orders. She asked one gentleman twice and another server asked what his name was and what he was waiting for. He seemed to be getting annoyed by the wait as well. I then asked if she could check on my food because it is now 45 minutes past when I placed my order (if I didn't already pay for my meal I would have walked out at this point). She said the gentleman came in before me and my order would be out right after his, but I know this not to be true because several people came in after me and and left before me. So 50 minutes go by and another person brings out my over stuffed bag and kind of throws it on the counter, asks if it's mine and walks away. I take a look in the bag to see no silverware and food on the bottom of the containers so I ask for another bag to separate so the food doesn't spill in my car. I quickly rearranged the food and left to go home. On the way home I was kind of shocked that during my visit of being in the restaurant for 40 minutes longer than I was promised, I wasn't offered anything or apologized to for the long wait- Not even a glass of water. So, I live 1.3 miles from the restaurant. I open the boxes with my mother and father to notice that the food is ICE cold. Even if the food was prepared while I was waiting it certainly wasn't sitting on any warmers or anything. The cheese on the burger seemed to be completely melted into the burger almost to the point where it looked like there was no cheese on it. The burger was over cooked. My father got half a rack of ribs which was so small he made a joke "this must have been a tiny pig". The cheese fries were solidified together and the sauce opened on the quesadilla so it was soaked in whatever sauce was included, again with the cheese being hard. My fresco salad and chicken both came with the "standard" sauces even though I asked for different ones. Over all, I think this was a unfortunate experience as we're close to Chili's and visit quite regularly, I don't know if we'd be returning anytime soon. The service and the quality of the food are not even close to what we're used to when visiting this establishment. read more

I ordered the new smokehouse combo and was very disappointed. Came out cold and was not worth the money. Not enjoyable. But since we didn't see waiter, had no one to tell in order to get something else. So I just ate my chips and salsa and paid my bill for good that was not good. Let's make this clear nobody goes to a chili's , Applebees, Friday's etc. . . For the food or expect a five star dining experience. They go for convenience and cost efficiency. This chili's location is anything but convenient. The lack of Management and direction is noticeable just by walking in. A 50 minute wait with 8 parties yet 13 tables open? It's mind boggling. 6 of those 13 just completely filthy with servers and staff walking by and not even thinking twice of lifting a single cup off a table in plane sight to all the guest from the host stand. Honestly the life saver of the entire experience was the host herself (I believe her name was Alex) greeted me and my family with a smile was consistently polite and maintained the doors composure very well even when a fellow guest got hostile she just met him with a smile and pleasantries and calmed him down .As a man who works as a manager in the hospitality industry the lack of team work and over all none care displayed by the rest of the staff is disappointing and that all starts with management. read more

Worst service ever. Haven't been there in 13 years and now I remember why. Hostess was cheerful and seated us promptly and our table of six waited... and waited... and waited. The tables around us were being attended to and a group who came after us had their drink orders taken and served ... and then finally someone came by ... the manager (John?) ... and we had to stop him and ask who our server was. He wasn't really sure (what?!?) but he took our drink and dinner orders in the meantime. Still our server never came. Then we asked the server who was taking care of the table next to us (his name may have been Brandon, no one had name tags?) if he knew who our server was. He too looked confused... apologized and said he would find out. Came out a few minutes later and apologized again but did not say he was our server but reluctantly brought us refills when we waved him down. The food comes out.. three of the orders was for cheese quesadilla with nothing else on the plate. Remember the manager who took the order... he brought out some of the dishes...Two cheese quesadillas came out with the garnishes in the middle and one quesadilla with chicken and garnishes. We sent back the chicken one and cheese and the other two dealt with theirs having garnish. Cheese quesadilla came back... with garnish. Never once did the manager come out and offer to take something off the bill, or truly apologize. No one ever asked how everything was until Anthony, a server on the other side of us, said he wished we were his table. He also apologized and said he would speak with the manager. He came out a few minutes later and said he was sorry and he wished we were in his area and to be sure to ask for him next time (really?). And our server was either Christina (?) or another female, but no one came to our table except the two women who tried to bring us food while we already had our dinners and they were intended for someone else? The manager never once came out after serving the dinners. My friend has a membership and was entitled to chips which she ordered and they were put on the bill even after she produced her card to them. The reluctant server didn't know how to use the machine at the table so he had to correct the error on the bill in the back.We never really found out who our server was but the reluctant server gave us our checks after we asked for them. And we made it clear we would not be back. The food was not worth it at all and the service and management was worse. read more

I'm a regular here but mostly because it's local. I used to love Chilis food, but lately I always have a stomachache after eating here-not good. Service at this location has always been pretty awful: I've been skipped waiting for a table and each visit clocks in around 2-3hrs because everything takes so long, even when they're not busy! Service is worst in the bar area. When they ask if the bar area is ok, answer that it is NOT, another ten minutes wait is nothing to the extra time waiting for food and the frequently misplaced orders. read more
