We ordered curbside the other night because I was too lazy to cook. I'm not too keen on chains and restaurants like this. This location in particular is usually filled with screaming children. We had the 2 for $20 meal. It was a great deal! We had the cheesefries which were so incredibly yummy. I had the chili mango chicken (can't remember if that was what it was called) which was really delicious and my boyfriend had the quesadilla which was pretty good. We also ordered a lava cake for dessert. I was extremely impressed by how the food was packed for takeout. Everything had its own container, all condiments were ample and well-packed. read more

This is my favorite local restaurant. Sure its a chain but on Long Island I have found you are better off sticking to a chain restaurant rather than gamble on some independent - at least for a cheap meal. Now, each Chilis is different so I don't recommend all of them. If you got bucks, go to a good restaurant and maybe you will get a good meal, but if you are on a budget like me and want to feed your family, you can't go wrong here. I particularly like the fajitas which are almost always good. Chicken and steak fajitas are good. Shrimp too. The Margarita grilled chicken is good too if you are not that hungry. Also, the 2 for one Margaritas are great!. We always order 2 rounds though so it really becomes 2 for me and 2 for you. Deserts are good too. read more

We all know Chilis isn't high end dining... It's a chain restaurant that offers a casual, no frills environment. It's just a grab and go spot, however for what it is, it's great. I hadn't been to Chilis in years and I didn't realize it but I missed it. I like the casual vibe here and I really like the food (burgers, chicken sandwiches, guacamole, tacos...). The options are vast and the execution is done right. Sure I could do without the sticky seats and the 2 for 1 beer crowds but it comes with the territory. My chicken bacon avocado sandwich made up for all the short comings. If you are in the mood for a low key Tex-Mex/American lunch, consider Chilis. It hits the spot. read more

We had a late lunch date at Chili's . I ordered chicken crispers with fries Hubby ordered the Rib eye with shrimp and loaded potatoes. Hubby stated steak was tough A -1 sauce was watered down not the original A-1 sauce. My chicken crispers were not seasoned, but we survived. read more

Omg bug on plate....never so grossed out in my life....usually pretty pleasant...will not return...sorry no thanks

This place has really gone down hill. We went here for girls night on a Tuesday. The entire establishment was filthy, the food was like rubber. The only good thing they had was the drinks which was beer so it's really hard to mess that up! We definitely will not be going back. They need to do some quality control. read more

Such a disappointment especially on Veteran's Day. We ordered as usually and were not told about special menu for my husband. When we questioned waitress, she brushed it off and said she couldn't do anything. We then noticed that the entree my husband ordered was on the special menu so we figured it wouldn't be a problem to fulfill the free meal for him. She said because he had a soup and a drink it made a difference. So sad with the service. We were hoping she would've more accommodating but she didn't show any concern. read more

Chicken was that fake tasting chicken. We got chicken fajitas and a chicken sandwich. Both had horrible chicken. Couldn't eat either. Total waste of money. McDonalds has better quality chicken by far. The place seemed so rushed too. It was a Sunday evening and all the employees rushed all around us which makes for an uncomfortable feeling when you're out trying to enjoy a meal. The place used to be so much better. My visits there have gotten to be further and further apart. Now I don't see myself going back read more

Food and service is never consistent. When I go I see servers cursing and horsing around. the immediate area by take out is always a mess, do they not have a dry storage area. Huge plate full of chicken bones also present. I don't understand, Last there about a week ago. read more

My Wife and i got the 2 for $20 and it was delicious. we got the Fried Pickle appitizer-Yummy! Then we choose the Mango Chile Talapia and mango chile Chicken. It was small but perfect. As for the kids, They ate from the kids menu, My daughter had the pizza with manderin and my son had the burger bites with mash Potatoes-the mash potatoes here are always great! It was very affordable. However, The waitress could care less if we were attended to or not....Another waitress saw that we needed service and assisted us. read more

Was there on 3/1 at 7pm for dinner. From the poor service to the kiosks not working to log in for rewards ( due to the restaurant running out of batteries.... thats right no batteries ) to the 30 minute wait for cold food and warm drinks ...... I tried to contact Chilis via there corporate web site but have received 2 emails asking for my check number, what our party ate, drank, name/description of the wait staff....... Seems like there could care less about fixing the problem of logging the complaint. Goodbye Chili's Appleebees here I come. read more

For starters, I don't like the kiosks on the table, it takes away from the personal service that we go to restaurants for. They sat us in the back with a full view inside the kitchen, and when I see paper and garbage on the floor, it totally repulsed me. The service was not that great, the waiter seemed like he was in the Twilight Zone, and my son commented that he saw him bite his nails. Ewwwww!!! They used to be good, but just like pretty much every other corporate restaurant, their food and service have gone completely downhill. Never going to another Chili's ever again. read more

After waiting over half an hour after ordering the waiter tells us there is a snag in the kitchen and food will be out shortly. About 15 minutes later the fajitas are brought to the table and both were cold. The manager Nikki offers to take care of the bill and offers to make us the food again. No thanks just want to leave. Wont be coming back. Adios Chilis too many other restaurants like this to go to with better service. read more

My Husband and I tried to dine on a Monday night at Chilis on Hempstead Turnpike, bethpage NY. We wanted to have some margaritas and appetizers. We arrived at 5:15 pm and were told they have low staff members and to wait 15 minutes before being seated. Mind you, there was very few people in the whole restaurant. Sure, no problem. Then 20 minutes goes by and we finally get seated. We now sit for another 20 minutes without being recognized. A couple sits to the left of us and within 2 minutes order is being taken. I try to be calm. Sit for another 5 to 10 minutes. Then a family of 4 sits to the right of us. Within 5 minutes the server goes right to them. I was blown away. 50 minutes of sitting there and nothing. We got up told the manager or whomever that individual was that seated us that was beyond disgusting service and the lack of any care. I never write any bad reviews and actually this is my first YELP review ever. I still cannot believe how we were completely dismissed. They completely lost out on a great TIP. We will never eat at another Chilis again. The most important thing is service and recognizing your customer. Don't dine at this location ever. read more

So me and my friends came here tonight for a bday celebration. All went well for the most part, food was pretty much what you'd expect from a chili's but there was a bit of a fiasco towards the end when it came time to pay the bill. Let me start by saying that I had mentioned to my server Kristen that we were splitting the bill and she informed me that I could do it on the computer at the end. Unfortunately when the time came to do that there was a bit of a glitch and we had to do it manually, which nobody could have predicted. Anyway Kristen had to then split up our bills herself and get us all change while she was waiting god knows how many other tables. I tried to do it myself but couldn't figure it out and I felt so bad she had to do all that work. She looked like her head was going to explode! So I will say that Kristen went above and beyond for all of us and I'm sorry we made her job so difficult, being a former food service employee I understand how hectic it can be. The 5 stars are for Kristen, you were the best server we could have asked for and I will definitely request you again when I come back. That is if you're not too scarred from what happened tonight lol. read more

Every time I have ordered To Go, they have messed something up. They waited until I went to pick up the food to tell me they were out of chili, and it would take about 20 minutes to make more. Maybe that's something they should have told me on the phone when I placed the order? I mean, it's CALLED CHILI'S, isn't it? Pass read more

Best chicken sandwich ive ever had in my life.....I order this atleast once a week and they never disappoint.

We ordered a large party platter to serve for New Year's Eve. It says "feed up to 8 people." It barely fed 4 people, not that the food was that edible. It was pretty embarrassing to serve, honestly. The ceaser salad was probably the best of the whole meal, even with the stale croutons. In this "large" party platter were 4 tiny pieces of steak and 4 slices of garlic bread with some tasteless brisket on top. Everything was delivered on time but the food was cold. The steak was very tough and the asparagus was barely cooked at all. Will not order from there again! read more

I wouldn't go back there ever again nope no more how does a $10 bill and u give him card to pay and it comes back $42 charge on the card , wow this place is a rip off read more

Gianna (sp?) was our server. She has been our server before and recognized us right away. Gianna is super attentive, ready to give suggestions with both cocktails and food items. We have never had to look for her when we had a request or question, she seems to appear at just the right time. She makes you feels as if you are her one and only priority even when then dinning room is full. When substituting items that come with your meal, she is quick with suggestions. Amazing customer service from our server. The store staff are all friendly, store is clean Service is on point from walk in to paying the check. read more

I've had by far the worst experience at Chilis. I will never go back here again!! First off , I order a Long Island Ice Tea, and I get my drink.! As I am sipping it , I notice a dead fly in my drink, And so they take the drink back. Obviously , they ask me if I want something else to drink, So I say a Sprite I guess , so I can clearly see inside the cup! I thought ,okay it happens and give it another try! So, the bill comes, and they actually charged me for the soda, I mean, there's no common courtesy, I explain to the manager DJ about the situation , sarcastically he says " ok, thank you," Walks away and never returns, I mean nice , real nice way to treat customers. Then Nick ,the waiter sarcastically kept saying "have a nice day, enjoy ur day being real sarcastic! I mean, the servers were terrible, really inconsiderate and discourteous people! I will never return! They could care less about their customers! Never again! read more

Well.... Unfortunately I thought this would have 5 stars in my eyes. It's pathetic and disheartening that I'm writing this review in between my appetizer and dinner because of how damn long the wait is. It's no longer busy, I am here on a Wednesday evening, I have 2 waiters who shoved us in the corner and neglecting us 4, now one disappeared to the back to "clean up" but is now helping another table instead of us. what about helping us with our meals? We've been here for an hour and have been waiting for refills and food and keep getting ignored. I am beyond upset and regret coming here #Byefelicia read more

Came back to my old stomping grounds and what a disappointment. The waiter we had was TERRIBLE. I wish I could tell you his name but he didn't even introduce himself. Well I should note it took about 10 minutes for him to actually acknowledge us sitting there he only walked passed us about 12 times before asking if we wanted a drink. To get a coke and a water took about another 10 minutes and 7 trips of him walking passed our table empty handed and ignoring us. We got out drinks finally and ordered food. Before I could finish my order he walked away. Our food came out surprisingly quick but of course wrong. When I tried to correct our order which he wrote down so please tell me how you can mess it ya?? The waiter looked bored and like he didn't care. When our meals were "corrected" he forgot the add one and huffed. Never checked to see if we needed anything or refills. When we asked for the check because the machine wasn't working he gave us just the part to write in his tip and not the actual receipt. Couldn't even find him to get the print out so whatever. Won't be back. Hope this waiter learns some table manners and how to treat customers. read more

Although I am not a fan of giant restaurant chains I was quite surprised by Chilli's. Great service, good food and the prices are unbelievable to be honest. For one - Happy Hour is apparently all day is 2 for 1 for selected drinks. I got Margaritas and let me tell you they were nice and strong surprisingly for a happy hour special. The food was great as well, no complaints. Will definitely consider this place for a lunch option again. read more

this once iconic family spot has been steadily going down in quality and service. my wife and i have sporadically been going to this location since the mid to late nineties with our kids and have noticed the deterioration of the of the food, management and employee's. as a bar and grill, imagine my chagrin when i went to the bar with friends to catch the nfl playoff's and none of the tv's had the game on! the barkeep after about a half hour, finally put the game on one tv with no sound!!!!! the reason they wouldn't put the volume on was that there supposedly were kids sitting by the bar...... are you kidding me! since when are the nfl games r rated? also, getting a drink at the bar isn't easy as there is only one barkeep on staff and they are making drinks for the whole place! lastly, is there anything at this place that isn't frozen before being served? maybe they should change the name to chill - e. read more

Can't even describe how messed up this is i will never ever ever give them business again. I do not eat out often due to covid and are especially aware of the restrictions so I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate me and have a nice evening out with my family. The person who answered said " we can seat a party of three with no wait up until 9 no problem " I get there at 8:45 and the manager says with an attitude " we're not seating anyone at this time " I stated that we called ahead and drive out of our way to come here and at this point to leave and go somewhere worse will be too late. Again with attitude she stated " I'll let them know no more pick up orders " which isn't even what we were doing. Very upset by the misinformation and poorly trained manager who doesn't seem to know where she is let alone what she is doing. Used to come here frequently I will not return after this. read more

Can't quite remember what I ordered, some kind of protein dish. What I had pictured in my head when I ordered, was far different from what I was served on my plate. The foul looking dish they served me tasted like something unholy. It couldn't have been from any animal I've ever tasted before. Threw my entire meal away in disgust. I was with a group of 5-6 people, they all tried it - and the looks on their faces were worth 1,000 words as they looked for anything to remove the hellish taste from their mouths. The restaurant is also dirty. Would never return and still remember that meal to this day... that meal changed the way I look at food forerver. read more

This is the first time were I went to this place with my Family and the employees there had a very positive attitude to their customers.

My wife,my daughter and I stopped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Friendly staff and fair service. Restaurant was quiet compared to dinner service. Portion sizes are above average and they brought my daughter's meal out first as requested. We were not in a rush so the speed that our drinks and meals were brought out was acceptable. Not our first time here. Everything is consistent from time to time so we will return because we know what to expect. If you need to be done quickly, I recommend you state that to your server from the start. read more

Not sure what the low ratings are about. Had a to-go order with my family, only took 10-15 minutes for everything to be done. Had no complains about the food it all tasted good. We got classic nachos, triple dipper, and the molton chocolate cake dessert. I think my only qualm is the small amt of spinach artichoke dip they give you compared to the ridiculously huge back of tortilla chips they provided-the dip was great I wish there was more! read more

Better then expected. After a modest 20 minute wait time, this Chili's actually did a pretty good job. Our waiter seemed like a nice guy and everything we ordered came out correctly and in a timely manner. Only glitch was with that tabletop ipad / tablet which didn't work when we tried to order a dessert through it. However the waiter quickly took care of it. They kept our glasses full and the place seemed about as clean as its gonna get here. As for the food we ordered Tilapia and mango sauce and Chicken enchilladas with green chille sauce. Both were tasty and had a little spicy kick to them, but neither was to overpowering. Wife liked the broccoli and said it was seasoned very well. The limited time only dessert "Cinnamon Lava Cake" was SOOO good. They need to keep that thing on the menu all the time! Wife and I were dueling forks like Darth Vader fighting Luke Skywalker! Good job Chilli's. read more

UPDATE 3/25/14 - I'm very happy to update my review. This place has more than redeemed itself over the last few months as far as I'm concerned. This place has been on point with their food and service. Chili's rocks! It pains me to give a bad review to a Chili's restaurant. I really love the food and the atmosphere, but service is a huge deal to me and this place has gone way downhill in that department. I've attempted to call-ahead numerous times, and each time I've been told I don't need to put my name on the call-ahead list because there is no wait. Even when I say I'd really like to have my name on, they insist there is absolutely no one waiting and there is no reason for it. It seems that in the 5-minute drive from my house, hoards of customers have arrived each time this has happened, and our wait is 20-30 minutes. In my former life I wouldn't have cared, but dining out with a 1-year-old has changed my dining-out experience. Part of the reason I like coming to Chili's is that it's a kid-friendly atmosphere and I feel comfortable if he's a little noisy. But after waiting 30 minutes just for a table, he's usually a mess by the time our food comes, and it's a horrible experience for me and the other patrons around me which is unfair to everyone. It's too bad because especially with a young child, dining out can be such a relief and a fun experience. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case here for us lately. I don't think I'll be dining here again for a while. read more

Went to this Chili's yesterday afternoon with my wife and son, asked to be seated near a window because they keep the place like a cave without any lighting, but was told they didn't have a server for that area. I guess they can't walk 4 feet to the left to make a customer happy these days. The server was very nice, but mine and my sons food came out cold as ice. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed and plan on never going back. I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog. I could also do without the employees screaming and yelling hanging out in the kitchen. Maybe they should be more concerned with serving the food hot and ready instead of having fun. What a shame. Do not eat here, EVER. If I could give NO STARS I WOULD. read more

Came here for the new 3 course menu deal for $10 per person. It was a fantastic deal! We were seated quickly at a booth. Server was great and very attentive. I got the blue moon beer which was 2 for 1 special however the glasses are smaller than typical. 2 of us had the salad to start while one had the nachos and salsa. The nachos were very thin and crisp and hot out of the oven. We quickly devoured the huge basket. For the main entre, 2 had the chicken fajita and 1 had a colossal burger and fries. The burger was juicy and the chicken was extremely tender and well seasoned. Next we all got our own personal chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream on top. This was the bomb and highlight of the meal! read more

Mediocre fast food at it's finest. Two-fers are the only upside here

Go to the one in Farmingdale. Less attitude from the hostesses and wait staff. This location makes you wait for 20 minutes when they have several tables open. Additionally, there are tables waiting to be cleared. Those tables took a long time for a buss person to clean them off. The manager on duty walked past the dirty tables several times but did nothing about it. The hostess couldn't understand why the people waiting at the door were annoyed at her....perhaps because she not only had an attitude problem, but didn't want to do anything help help resolve the problem. read more
