Get the STEAK and GUAC. This guy knows what he's doing. I've tried a quite a few things on the menu here as I work nearby and the owner's really upped his game over the years. It's quick and easy but in particular the steak was very tender and guacamole was fresh and delicious. The owner doesn't speak much English but he's a good guy and always friendly. He works pretty hard running this restaurant by himself and props to him for upgrading some of the menus recently. Pretty adorable to see his granddaughter helping at the front sometimes. I've been to restaurants all over the world so my palette's been spoiled but I definitely know fresh guac when I taste it. I forgot how delicious the food is at Tacos Perfectos but I'm glad I decided to stop in and get dinner. First the service was much better than most places. Sherif was very cordial and accommodating. He offered service with a smile and was friendly. Second the store was neat, clean, and colorful; however, it was quiet and empty at the time I had visited. Last the food was delicious!! I had ordered a vegetarian burrito with plantains, which also came with a side of chips which Sherif had offered. When I couldn't decide whether to get mild or hot salsa with them, he gave me both upon request. I believe the food was yummier than most restaurants in the area with similar menus. I'm not sure if this business is associated with any franchises or corporations; however, I prefer to support the mom-and-pop types of restaurants and businesses and this place gave that vibe. It's small, nestled in the corner and could be easily missed or forgotten (I haven't been there in a few years but will definitely be returning very soon). My boyfriend and I were in the area and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Hidden away in a shopping center with much bigger spots, you will find Taco Perfectos basically hidden in the corner. Many options are available. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, salads, rice bowls, etc. I went with the tortilla platter. Basically a create your own taco platter. The platter consisted of rice, beans, chicken, lettuce and tomato. Tortillas were on the side. Chicken had nice flavor, but the flavor could have been slightly better. It was missing excitement. The menu stated the beans were topped with cheese...but it didn't come with any cheese. My boyfriend ordered the Burrito Loco. Inside was rice, beans, sour cream, tomato and salsa. You can pick what protein you want. He chose chicken. It was huge!! Could easily be split between two people. He enjoyed it. My boyfriend also ordered chili. He said that the flavors were nice..and was like a sloppy joe consistency. There was a flavor that neither of us could figure out, but it was enjoyable. The menu also stated the chili was topped with cheese, however the cheese was not present. There is a salsa bar with three different salsas. The salsa of the day, house salsa and hot salsa. The salsa of the day was good, and very vibrant in colors. House salsa was darker, but tasty. The hot salsa wasn't hot at all. It wasn't even medium. More on the mild side. The only problem with these salsas is that they are not covered. They are open and exposed. I almost forgot. You receive complimentary chips with your order. They came out hot and fresh. It was a little pricey. For everything mentioned above and two drinks it came to $30. That's a little pricey. However, my boyfriend and I both want to come back and try something else. read more

Holy crap. If I could give this place zero stars i would. Only stopped in because of the inflatable and wasnt feeling burgers again. Ordered my kid burgers at five guys, walked over. Their menu is super weird. Then i noticed it was halal so yay there goes pork carnitas i wanted. Took 5 minutes before anyone took my order. I ordered paid and said ill be back in 2 min just running to 5 guys. Got my kids burger brought it to him and came back in. Again 5 mins before anyone comes to the counter. Place is empty. The guy didn't see any orders and went back to get the other guy. Dude comes out and gets all defensive. Pulls the receipt off the register and says you only ordered 3 tacos. Like i was trying to get a free taco, dude it was $3 bucks. Maybe make your menu clearer. So I respond great the 3 I ordered 20 mins ago are they ready? They have signs outside that say $8-10 for combos with a drink. Looked like a great deal, and I was happy to help a little local business. There was also an electronic placard flashing "eat in." I walk inside, and was parsing through the combos. The owner rudely informed me that they don't offer combos despite them being displayed everywhere. I should have left, but decided to order a burrito, which he charged a higher price than what was listed on the menu. I paid $15 and change for the burrito and a small water bottle. He threw in free tortilla chips and salsa. I then went to sit down, and was told it was take out only. I said the sign outside said eat in, and he said I could sit because I'm a new customer. The burrito was fine, but nothing to write home about. At $15, I'd much rather have chipotle. The chips were cold and flavorless. Honestly, I went here because they had a really cool inflatable outside. I ordered two burritos, a shrimp one for me and a chicken one for my sister. I can't remember the names exactly but they were incredibly good. The price is well worth it. They didn't skimp out on th shrimp, which is honestly more than I can say for the other local taco/burrito places. I feel like this is a severely underrated place. The food here was fantastic and was carefully prepared. I hate chain taco places and when my kids want tacos I try to support local small businesses like this one. They offer empanadas, burritos, rice bowls and salads. And the owner was so nice and so sweet to my kids. They all gave it 2 thumbs up. The kids meals were perfect - I hate wasting food and was happy to see appropriate portions for little guys. Went in the other night for a large order and at the last minute and they owner was so kind and accommodating as usual, this was my 3rd time back :) this time we got the family size burritos,tacos & quesadillas platter and everyone loved it, especially the burritos. We've also had the empanadas from here, enchiladas, and rice bowls and everything is always a hit. The food is cooked fresh and you can taste the difference! They also added salsa and chips which was great. We had a mistake where our Oreo empanadas were left out and when I called they told me next time I come back they'll make it up to me with another order. Then they called right back and said they could actually deliver it now for free which was great service and we will definitely go back. read more

My order was wrong twice. I asked for a whole wheat burrito with chicken cheese and lettuce. I got no cheese. Said they would fix it. They made a regular, not whole wheat. This time the cook burned my burrito closed. I guess so I couldn't open it till I got home. When I got home, no cheese. For $10, there were less than 2 1/2 ounces of chicken, I weighed it. Which is very strange because my first burrito must have had at least half a pound of chicken. It was plenty. I would have rather they added cheese to that burrito, instead of making a new one with the wrong burrito, no cheese, almost no chicken, and all rotten old lettuce. There was so much rotten lettuce with huge chunks that felt like eating the butt of a head of lettuce chopped up. The burrito was unedible. The table I sat down to wait for my food had a pube on it. The place was empty, so I don't understand why no one would wipe down what were the most disgusting dirty sticky tables I have ever had to tolerate, absolutely deplorable. Also one of the employees cut me off in the parking lot just to get a parking spot. Then I have to deal with him the whole time I was there. Never did he say sorry, or even hello, just kept staring at his phone avoiding eye contact. Probably felt like a dick that he aggressively cut off 2 people about to eat in the most disgusting kitchen on earth. We have been going Taco Joes every Friday night in Levittown since it opened. It is our Friday night happy hour. When we saw the Yelp reviews, we figured let's give it a shot. Our food was so disgustingly unedible that we threw out the crap we just paid $22 for and went to Taco Joe's. Taco Joe's actually puts the chicken in the burrito's and salads, enough to fill you up. I hate to write this much negative stuff because everyone makes mistakes, or has a bad day. It was just everything went so terribly wrong from the start, then to get home looking forward to eating, only to have to throw it out and go back out and spend another $20. The 2 men that were working at Taco Perfecto's Friday night around 7 pm on 5/3/19 have made us deathly afraid to ever try a new place to eat. It's not so bad about the $20, it's more confusing how anyone eats here. When we walked in we both got a bad feeling from the start. From almost getting T boned for a parking spot, to them not understanding how to take an order. And having by far the worst food with zero quality or flavor in a very filthy dining area. I have ate here twice in the past week. Once for delivery and then went in on Saturday for dinner. I love mexican food and I am always craving it. Usually I go to Moe's or Chipotle (when I want something fast) but I decided I wanted to try this place. I'm so glad I did.
