Ok, wasn't looking for THE absolute worst Chili's on the planet, but I think I found it! Anybody that's read my reviews knows I have major allergies. As I always do, I explained this up front & per experience, THIS is how I ordered my burger: "I'd like a bacon burger cooked med, completely plain, no cheese, just meat, bacon & bun & also no seasonings on the burger or fries & tell them to please not put the fixings on the plate either." If anybody knows how I could get ANY clearer than that, I am all ears. 1st burger came with everything & well done. 2nd burger came without bacon & well done. Waiter brought 2 strips of bacon. I took one bite of the burger & tasted onion! That tells me it was on there & removed. My daughter's food was all wrong - no sauce on the asparagus, regular, not loaded potatoes, no sauce on steak. My granddaughter's sliders were burnt & tasted of onions - her's was also supposed to be plain with cheese. Several other members of our party had issues with getting things they ordered. We had also asked if the waiter had wanted to know how to order things for 3 checks. He stated we could separate it at the end. Why is that my job? It's nice for folks that forget to mention it's separate checks, but... We waited 30+ minutes for them for fix our checks AFTER the 2nd time we asked when we were ready to go. The 1st manager said she would fix it & adjust incorrect pricing. Over an hour later, when we were ready to leave, a 2nd manager took over 'cos the 1st had done nothing but give us attitude & excuses (reasons WE were wrong!)! She said the burger thing was my fault because plain can mean different things to different people & plain has nothing to do with the seasoning. I repeated how I'd ordered it & she said well, she could still see how it could be misinterpreted. Also, 3 people in our party ordered the cookie & we asked if one could be crunchy, & 2 a little gooey. He said he'd ask. He came back & said they precook all of them in the morning & then warm them in the microwave, so they all would be crunchy. We dropped the order to 2 of them. I usually tip 20-25% for good service. I did not doc the waiter for the incorrect food as I blamed the kitchen, but the fact that we'd come in from a warm day & everybody finished their drink before the food came, but we had to ask for refills repeatedly before most everybody got theirs factored in. & then we found out the 7 year old who was sitting at the far end of the table with the kids playing video games never got his, but was too shy to tell us... & yes, we checked with the older kids (11-13) & he did indeed order AND asked an extra time for his drink. There were 2 in the area when we googled & I'd teased my daughter as she was giving me directions that this was probably the bad one. I certainly hope the other wasn't worse!! read more

Straight up trash. We were seated quickly, in a disgusting, sticky dirty table. It took 10 minutes for a waiter to come over to us to greet us and take our drink order. We get our drink order and food order in now when the waiter finally comes. We ordered the triple decker, wings, chicken strips and southwest egg rolls, tacos and burgers for my kids. Drinks come out, and now we see ants crawling all over the wall were seated against(we are inside by the way). Our food comes out, the appetizer has the wrong food on it so the manager takes it back to take off the food that was wrong and brings out appetizer with the correct food. I can only imagine after seeing how dirty the restaurant was that it was handled bare handed behind the scenes but it is what it is. My wife took my son to the bathroom which was disgusting...not the way a dining establishments bathroom should look ever, but especially after covid. Now, the ants migrated off the wall and onto our table. My wife asked that the manager come by and speak to us. She came out a few minutes later, my wife showed her the ant situation and told her about the bathroom/overall cleanliness of the restaurant. We don't complain usually, but instead will just choose not to come back. This time, it was truly disgusting and it needed to be seen and acknowledged. The manager just said ok, and that "they will clean the bathroom". This place should be closed, permanently. How does a place like this pass inspections? read more

I am from the 'burbs and therefore I have an unusual fascination and attachment to chain restaurants. Chili's is a place I usually find very consistent from all their chains, with the exception of a few establishments. There was one in Jersey City that I panned, and this one falls into "just okay" spectrum of Chili's. Let's be honest: you know what you are going to get. But I was a little thrown off by the cleanliness of this establishment. The bar area connects right with the kitchen and it never quite feels "clean" enough. I don't know if this has to do with how long this place has been in operation but it might need a makeover or a power cleaning. The bathrooms are never quite tidy enough either. When I'm out dining, I expect a little more mode of cleanliness than I get here. Otherwise, as far as Chili's go, it's pretty good. They always make my Presidente margaritas just right. Their salads are a little less desirable than their platters. But the staff is always SUPER nice whenever I visit, which is usually when I'm visiting my friend who lives out in this area. I end up here usually since I am a chain restaurant junkie, but perhaps next time I'll try another place to see if the clean problem is just theirs. read more

I've always enjoyed eating at Chili's but my last visit was VERY disappointing. I ordered the fajitas which were always my favorite but this time not so much. My fajitas came to the table cold and not sizzling like they promise. The onions and peppers were not even cooked and were cold and raw. The steak was overcooked and was tough to chew and had little to no taste. Went here Yesterday 4/20/2021. I took my girlfriend out and for a restaurant trying to survive during Covid-19. We were seated very quickly. The waitress was very polite and nice. The food was good however we did have a ticket time of 32 minutes. One of the weirder things is we sat in one of these corner booth's and the guy who brought us to the table was still visible through this clear glass the I sat facing. Every time I would look up he would meet my eyes and quickly look away. The man was a heavier set Caucasian male. Other than that everything else was perfect! Admittedly I've never dined in this location; however, my co-workers and I order their food to go pretty frequently. I like this Chili's a lot because they've never gotten our orders wrong, and whoever has taken my phone order was patient and kind. I usually go with their shredded chicken enchiladas, but I recently tried a burger. I ordered the burger to be cooked Medium and it was perfect! Any time I have placed my To Go order it was ready for me when I arrived and still nice and warm when I got to work. The parking lot is spacious with parking on both sides of the building. It's on Hempstead Turnpike just off of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway but you have to make a U-Turn to get there. read more

Third time in a row ordering to-go that it has gotten messed up. Rechecked my receipt to make sure it wasn't my mistake, obv not. If ordering take out - make sure you check it before you leave. There was NO ONE else there, no reason another two mins could not have been taken to assure my correct order. Asked for ranch x2, got bleu cheese (to which I am allergic) x3. No utensils that I requested, so had to scramble. And none of the flavoring sprinkled on my food as it is usually served. Just laziness, at this point. With the current state of the world, you would think they would go above and beyond to please customers, to assure they stay open & working. Knew I should have given my money to a local small business, but it was late when I left work & only chains still open. Have been going to Chili's Bethpage since they opened. Yesterday was not a pleasant experience. Our server was very slow, kept telling my husband and "I'll be with you in a moment" but took more than a moment. My drink was watered down. The appetizer was cold and so was my husbands dinner. This place is a hit or miss, we have been going here for over 5 years. Sometimes the food comes out on time and it is good but other times the food is mediocre at best for a long wait. The reason I give it 4 stars and not 3 is because the dessert (the molten lava cake) never disappoints us. The waitresses are attentive so I feel the wait and taste is the kitchen staff's fault. Ok so many people rave about chilis im just left unsatisfied. It was an immediate seating on a Saturday night so I think we just got there in time. They use a two server per table system which is pretty interesting as to give the best service. Ordered guacamole and cheese curds for an app. And the two nephews meals were put in as well. The kids meals came out before apps. I was ok with that. Real corn on the cob is ruined by microwaved Mac and cheese. Places really need to switch away from this type for kids. The other kids meal a corn dog and fries. Not bad. So now the guacamole comes and they do it right next to the table. Everything in a huge bowl and the waiter asks if you want it chunky or smooth. And mixes it table side. Nice and fresh. The fried cheese curds came with a spicy ranch but tasted fine in their own. The waiters were on point and laughed when I asked for two cokes to save them time. Being in the industry I know what would help out. They were great servers. Unfortunately my dinner came. The mashed potatoes although made from real potatoes were extremely bland even with bacon cheese and sour cream. The corn niblets were bland except for the taste of fish yea they tasted fishy. I got a rib eye I love rib eyes. And I love medium rare. The steak was apparently to thin to get it cooked that way. And again very very bland. Used to be a favorite, however after last night I will never come here again. I went to Chili's after a hockey game with my family. Unfortunately, my son found an ant or some kinda of vermin in his Mac and Cheese. Although, waiter apologized for this episode. He never took the charge of our bill or offered to remove the charge, also we were supposed to get free chips and salsa that never was brought to us. To me this is a lack of foresight and the Broad of Health should investigate this establishment for health code violations. read more

We've been coming to this Chili's for years and never had a problem here. The food is always good. My only complaint is that Chili's as a whole needs to get some vegetarian dishes, not just their one option of having a bean burger substitute or past dish minus the chicken. There is no reason why they can't add some vegetarian options when they have so many choices on their menu that cater to meat eaters. That said I have had their cajun pasta (minus the chicken or shrimp option) several times and their mushroom swiss burger with a black bean burger substituted. Their mozzarella sticks (sorry I refuse to call it "fried cheese" as some places are now referring to it!) are always good as is their spinach artichoke dip! Their service is usually always good and friendly and if you get here early in the evening or put your name down by calling prior to arriving then you can avoid waiting for a table or waiting long. read more

Honestly, I really believe that Chili's is different from most chain restaurants. I like their food a lot. Overall, I have never had a bad experience here and the staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I went right before Cinco De Mayo (I was craving a margarita soo badly) and I couldn't decide on what flavor to get for my "El Presidente" rita and the waitress was kind enough to give us flavor samples. She also got us extra chips too. Some of the drinks are 2fers or BOGO, which is a sweet deal. I love the 2 for $20 menu and whenever I go out with friends we usually pair up and get that. My main go-to dishes are the chicken fajitas or the chicken quesadillas. They're always piping hot and delicious. I love getting the chips (they're very addicting). Chili's is a really social place for people of all ages. It's good for a hangout, date, family time, etc. And as for the drinks, the El Presidente is one heck of a killa'. We all know Chilis isn't high end dining... It's a chain restaurant that offers a casual, no frills environment. It's just a grab and go spot, however for what it is, it's great. I hadn't been to Chilis in years and I didn't realize it but I missed it. I like the casual vibe here and I really like the food (burgers, chicken sandwiches, guacamole, tacos...). The options are vast and the execution is done right. Sure I could do without the sticky seats and the 2 for 1 beer crowds but it comes with the territory. Such a disappointment especially on Veteran's Day. We ordered as usually and were not told about special menu for my husband. When we questioned waitress, she brushed it off and said she couldn't do anything. We then noticed that the entree my husband ordered was on the special menu so we figured it wouldn't be a problem to fulfill the free meal for him. We have been here many times, and each time the service continued to go down hill. Last night we gave it a second chance and did curb side ordering. Ordered from home on line, got the confirmation email of what time it would be ready. Dont get me wrong it was a Friday night I knew it wasnt going to be ready at that exact time.
