Cheap beer but make sure they don't put cheese on your hamburger because they won't make you another one if they accidentally do.

Only issue is they no longer do the 75 cent tap beer (even though the sign visible from the LIRR still advertises it...) but that's ok.

From the moment you walk in you're greeted by 90s nostalgia that looks like it was bought from the…read morethrift store. Dirty hanging empty VHS boxes dangling like dust filled disco balls. While old episodes of "Nick At Night" play on one of the bar screens, as mock "scrambled porn" plays on another. The few tables that line the wall behind the bar are small and cramped. The very small beer menu was nothing special. The two IPAs were out and the ones that were not were warm. Beer should not be warm coming out of the tap. The canned and bottled beers were not too far off. The food looked like some supermarket frozen food section stuff. Over priced, over fried and cold in the middle. The music played overhead is early 2000s emo and punk which is cool. But does not fit with the aesthetic of 90s nostalgia. The staff is unprofessional and some rude. Vaping behind the bar, drinking, and taking their time letting lines build up. They also let way too many people in. It came to the point where it felt like you were on the subway going home during rush hour. Shoulder to shoulder, back to back -- not a good feeling at a dive bar. If you're not gonna listen to Drake and drive to the bar -- the parking lot is a single lane joke. Park down one of the side streets.

First off their menu is a lie. I wanted to come here to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday…read more They have a menu online of different kinds of burgers based on 90s shows and movies and appetizers. We got here and they only had a few appetizers and drinks in their menu. I showed the server the menu online and she asked the manager and they said they don't know but do not have those items. So the menu online the website is false. You won't get a Krabby patty or a good burger or Tommy's fried pickles. Also we came during an event which was nice but why would you have a scream band playing in a 90s theme bar? They played a few songs from the 90s but mostly scream which is not the vibe we were expecting from the bar. It was nice that they played Nickelodeon and Pokemon on the TVs by the bat, but that did not make up for the food or vibe. The food wasn't even all that good. Literally the mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen ones heated up in the microwave. The buffalo wings had good flavor but the outer shell was cooked to much. Overall it did not have the 90s vibe experience their website made the place out to be.

RECOMMENDED On…read moreSaturday, August 5th, energized after a day of indulging my inner introvert, I headed down to Father Flanagan's with multiple motives. A.....To sing. B...to assess Father Flanagan's as a future site for my new Karaoke group. C....to catch Anita Bloomfield's gig since she was a subbing KJ with whom I was not familiar. Father Flanagan's is a clean, dark and narrow space situated in the western corner of "Village Green".The bartenders are pleasant and responsive. Though Flanagan's obviously has a local clientele, it did not feel cliquey and I felt quite comfortable there. Don't be fooled by the address, peeps. You get there via Jerusalem Avenue, the North/South road, not the East/West one.The parking lot is HUGE. You will never have an issue with parking. Upon arrival about twenty minutes before the start of the formal Karaoke, Ms. Bloomfield belted out some torchy songs with flair and complete confidence. The lady can sing. She reminded me of a nightclub singer in a 1940s Bogart movie. Anita announced the start of the Karaoke show and it became apparent that no one else would step up to the mike. Poor me....I have to follow THAT. Nevertheless, he persisted. While I usually use an empty bar to practice difficult songs that could bomb, I opted to stick to my greatest hits (with one exception) so as not to highlight the disparity between my abilities and those of the KJ. I started with The City of New Orleans (Arlo Guthrie). Feeling my oats, I followed up with Come and Get It (Badfinger), an obvious attention getter in a bar. Heard some giggles during that one:;)). Both songs drew applause without the KJ asking for it on my behalf. Feeling overconfident, I attempted Linda's version of Mike Nesmith's Different Drum. The karaoke machine played the song out of time, forcing me to sing it with a country twang. Man did I suck. Seeking redemption with Dobie Gray's Drift Away, I settled into an intense soul groove. I dig this song. The few forty plussers at the bar gave me verbal props and moderate applause. Decided to leave Flanagan's on a high note. Both bartenders gave me nice compliments as I was leaving. I will definitely schedule Father Flanagan's for my Karaoke group in the coming weeks.

There have been times I'll peak in to see what's going on but after last night I have absolutely no reason to go back or tell people about this location. 1. Everyone doing drugs in/outside the bathroom. 2. Bartender that works on Tuesdays isn't professional/mature and can get really nasty and most of the time will completely forget/disregard her own actions. I have seen this bartender at many local spots such as Broadway 247, waitstills & a few others and I would not recommend talking to this individual. Very inappropriate. 3. Nothing but unnecessary fights/arguments with the customers between one another and somehow I was apart of the shenanigans Last night sitting on the opposite side of the bar. 4. Very immature people. 5. High school reunion in a way with the mind set the people have walking in. The list doesn't stop here but this location should be shut down. Absolutely disturbing/disgusting what I saw/witness last night. Pathetic to say the least.
