Cheap beer but make sure they don't put cheese on your hamburger because they won't make you another one if they accidentally do.

Only issue is they no longer do the 75 cent tap beer (even though the sign visible from the LIRR still advertises it...) but that's ok.

While old episodes of "Nick At Night" play on one of the bar screens, as mock "scrambled porn" plays on another. The few tables that line the wall behind the bar are small and cramped. The very small beer menu was nothing special. The two IPAs were out and the ones that were not were warm. Beer should not be warm coming out of the tap. The canned and bottled beers were not too far off. The food looked like some supermarket frozen food section stuff. Over priced, over fried and cold in the middle. The music played overhead is early 2000s emo and punk which is cool. But does not fit with the aesthetic of 90s nostalgia. The staff is unprofessional and some rude. Vaping behind the bar, drinking, and taking their time letting lines build up. They also let way too many people in. It came to the point where it felt like you were on the subway going home during rush hour. Shoulder to shoulder, back to back -- not a good feeling at a dive bar. If you're not gonna listen to Drake and drive to the bar -- the parking lot is a single lane joke. Park down one of the side streets.

We got here and they only had a few appetizers and drinks in their menu. I showed the server the menu online and she asked the manager and they said they don't know but do not have those items. So the menu online the website is false. You won't get a Krabby patty or a good burger or Tommy's fried pickles. Also we came during an event which was nice but why would you have a scream band playing in a 90s theme bar? They played a few songs from the 90s but mostly scream which is not the vibe we were expecting from the bar. It was nice that they played Nickelodeon and Pokemon on the TVs by the bat, but that did not make up for the food or vibe. The food wasn't even all that good. Literally the mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen ones heated up in the microwave. The buffalo wings had good flavor but the outer shell was cooked to much. Overall it did not have the 90s vibe experience their website made the place out to be.

Confirmed I would be back for sushi and picked Valentine's Day to try it out. Not surprised place was jam packed when I arrived. Online order promised 20 minutes, I showed up a couple of minutes after that to see a bag making its way out of the kitchen. To my pleasant surprise that bag was indeed my food! Timing was great. Sushi was well assembled, had good flavor. Would be back again. Only little thing was got the tom yum soup with shrimp. It literally had 1 shrimp. Big. But single shrimp little bit disappointing. Overall great experience. Might be my new go to sushi spot!

Salmon roll the fish was old and tasted like it should have been thrown out two days ago!! Who The F would serve that!! Boston roll was horrible lettuce too much fake crab bad. And they didn't provide soy sauce plates so it made for a shitty all around experience. Tuna roll acceptable I get better sushi at Stew Lenard's !! Go here for great sushi comparatively!! At a better price!! My wife had chicken teriyaki it was swimming with sauce and her salad was the size of a tangerine. Not even a tangelo. Miso soup vile!! Don't waste your money. Better value can be had almost anywhere else. Maybe go back to being the Planview Diner

There have been times I'll peak in to see what's going on but after last night I have absolutely no reason to go back or tell people about this location. 1. Everyone doing drugs in/outside the bathroom. 2. Bartender that works on Tuesdays isn't professional/mature and can get really nasty and most of the time will completely forget/disregard her own actions. I have seen this bartender at many local spots such as Broadway 247, waitstills & a few others and I would not recommend talking to this individual. Very inappropriate. 3. Nothing but unnecessary fights/arguments with the customers between one another and somehow I was apart of the shenanigans Last night sitting on the opposite side of the bar. 4. Very immature people. 5. High school reunion in a way with the mind set the people have walking in. The list doesn't stop here but this location should be shut down. Absolutely disturbing/disgusting what I saw/witness last night. Pathetic to say the least.

They have a huge selection of top shelf liquor, but charge a arm and a leg for it. Even worse they don't accept credit cards. So I had to drive to a ATM to get cash. But most bars in this area don't. They were celebrating someone's birthday so they had a nice buffet set up for him. I like the bar, I just didn't like the small crowd. There was a huge moose on the wall and it felt a bit out of place. If I go with friends I might go back. Since I am the Designated driver I need to enjoy myself by talking to good people and having more to do then they offered there.

I came here last week for an event, and got to enjoy basically a tasting menu of sorts…read more This menu took Indian flavors on a seriously fun ride. From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

The space is modern and beautifully decorated, but still has that cozy, comfortable feeling that makes you want to settle in, order way too much food, and stay awhile. The staff was also wonderful. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and, most importantly to me, genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. I always appreciate when the people working at a restaurant can actually talk to you about the dishes, ingredients, flavors, and what makes something special. It makes the whole experience feel much more personal. But the FOOD is absolutely the star here. Everything we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and just so satisfying. My favorite dish was hands down the chili chicken momos. They had exactly the right amount of heat--spicy enough to give you that little kick, but not so much that it overpowered everything else going on in the dish. The momos themselves were delicious, and the combination of spice, savory flavor, and texture made them something I could honestly order over and over again. I also love that Banjara has some more unique cocktails rather than just the standard drinks you see everywhere. They fit the modern feel of the restaurant really well and make it a fun place to come for dinner, drinks, or both. As someone who genuinely LOVES Indian food and is always excited to explore different dishes and regional flavors, I really enjoyed my experience here. Banjara manages to feel modern without losing the soul and flavor that makes Indian food so special. Great atmosphere, genuinely kind and knowledgeable people, creative drinks, and food that makes you start thinking about what you're ordering next before you've even finished what's in front of you. If you're looking for a cozy, modern Indian restaurant with a little personality and some seriously delicious food, give Banjara a try. And please do yourself a favor and order the chili chicken momos.
