We went here last night around 6:15 and the place was pretty busy. We were seated and after about five minutes, our waitress came over and took our drink order. My husband ordered a margarita with an extra shot and I just got a water. Fifteen minutes go by and we still haven't gotten our drinks. She comes back by and we ordered chips and salsa and our food. I ordered the honey chipotle chicken crispers and they came with Mac n cheese and French fries. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas. After we ordered, we got our drinks in about 10 minutes and they brought the shot in a separate glass than the margarita, not mixed into the margarita. They gave me the margarita and him the shot. Not that big of a deal, but if the waitress would've written anything down, this wouldn't have happened. The chips came and they were delicious and we had them gone in no time. Our waitress came over and asked if we wanted another tray of chips and salsa and we said yes, but she never brought them. When we finally did get our food, everything looked good. I tasted the Mac n cheese because I was really looking forward to it but to be quite frank, it was disgusting. It tasted like it was scraped off the bottom of a pan and it was barely warm. I would never recommend the Mac n cheese. The honey chipotle chicken crispers were really good though and I would recommend those to anyone. Our waitress was not very attentive at all and she seemed like she had somewhere better to be. When we were ready to pay, we asked for to go boxes and the check. The waitress said she'd be right back and brought the tablet to pay. We got everything squared away on that and she still hadn't brought the to go boxes. She also said they only had small to go boxes, but I saw other servers bringing other tables big boxes so that was frustrating. Over all, this was one of the worst visits we've had at any Chili's, which is sad because we love Chili's and especially this location in particular. The service was really good the food was very good and I can say I played 2 word with friends games and our meals came I had shrimp small yet favored to my taste the rice was just enough not overwhelming with spices the steak was a tad over cooked but I ate it and it was good . The only disappointment I felt was a very loud lady throwing the F word around in very poor taste the Mother came out of me I wanted to tell her to please not to be so loud every body wanted to eat in peace I wish management had stepped in and asked her to stopped cussing it was just annoying trying to carry on a conversation and something you could not hear yourself talk. Over all solid visit. This has to be one of the busiest Chilis. Line out the door at 5P on a Friday. I was super impressed with how front door host staff handled cranky eager to sit down guests. Grace under fire comes to mind. Araceli was my table host and she was spot on with her promptness and service. Well done! My only slight gripe was the Santa Fe salad. The food comes out within 15 minutes for most times we come here and it's piping hot. This place is nice and clean and the staff are nice for the most part. I have been going to this Chili's for several years and I've got to say that I am really impressed with how good their food is now. Over the years it really has improved! They also now have a wide variety of drinks on their drink menu. I usually just stick to my favorite strawberry margarita, but every once in a while I'll get one of their drink specials and I have never been disappointed! read more

Asked for more and she told me she will see what she can do and served more from the same batch instead of making fresh. I like Chili's. They are one of the chains that are consistent with the quality of their food, providing the people in the kitchen can follow instructions. This franchisee is doing pretty good. Although, they are overcooking some dishes pretty often. Many come out dry and tough. My biggest gripe is the lack of sanitary practices. This Chili's REALLY needs to clean up their act., The place is genuinely nasty. There are places where fly specks on the wall look like black spray paint. Grease is everywhere. Spills and splashes are left uncleaned all over the place. The bathrooms are horrible. My wife and I take her dad here often. But, I'm going to suggest somewhere else, from now on. read more

We have been coming to Chili's for many years. Today I will say my family and I will no longer be returning to this location. The manager John we spoke with didn't see to care about our feedback as to how we were treated tonight he was quick to dismiss our concerns so he could return to the kitchen to cater to his other customers, his words. My husband runs Palms Car Wash all over Austin, Texas we DO NOT treat our customers like this. I do want to thank our waitress Deja who was beyond friendly and made the rest of our experience much better. I decided to carb up back at the hotel with some Fig Newtons. yes, i chose Fig Newtons over this mess of a pasta dish. It was the Chicken Alfredo one. The bread wasn't even that good. It was cold and dry. How do you mess up bread?! I was just glad to get our dinner over with and get out of there.
