If you're looking for a local dive that serves good pizza and craft beer - then this is your place. Staff was outstanding. Apparently they have live music several months out of the year.

An interesting and fulfilling lunchtime experience. Our first dining destination in Bastrop. Great food. Great service. Great people. Great cat. Great ambiance and atmosphere outside along the Colorado River. I would like to experience more of this establishment and music venue. I've got a feeling I'm not alone on that one. CritDicks

This is a chill spot by the river! I would recommend this spot if you want to take a walk on the river afterwards! We went during Christmas time and did the stroll and then got a bite and it worked out perfectly. There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of room/tables. We have only tried the pizza here but we're pleased with the different options and taste! We got a large pizza for our family of four (2 kids) and had leftovers so it's a good size too..

Great pizza (love the crust), yummy apps and salads and good locally brewed beers! Wait time and accuracy is hit or miss, but we have always done well when seated at the bar. They usually have live music on the weekends which makes it really busy!

Went here with some friends and coworkers for lunch. I loved the outdoor space and vantage point. Theirs a nice outdoor stage and a walking trail. The kindly greet you upon entering and they have plenty of seating. We tried the meatballs and Chicken Pesto Pizza. Both were pretty good. Not my favorite menu items but I wanted to try something new. I'm definitely going to give them another try to see what else they have to offer. If you're in the area, check them out.

Straight from the airport to the river! My host kept calling this "the finest riverside dining," and while I was looking for a dress code, I found a giant backyard party on the Colorado River. This is my official Californian report: This place is a VIBE. The servers here are actually happy to see you (a refreshing change of pace!), and the atmosphere is 100% unpretentious. Great food, great drinks, and a total local gem!

We were on our way to the Texas A&M game from San Antonio and came across this gem in the evening. What a great atmosphere with the huge patio, lights and live music. We ordered the artichoke dip, sweet sriracha wings and getting figgy with it pizza from the shack down at the patio and found our table. The food came out fairly quick and we weren't in a rush because the music and ambience was so fun. We'll definitely stop in again when we are in town in the evening!

WOW!!! What a fantastic spot! My sister and I met here for some food and drinks, they did not disappoint! The view, service, food, and drinks were amazing! Get the cucumber margarita!!!!! IT WAS FABULOUS!!

It was my first time at the restaurant and the food and drinks were good. The salad was fresh. The wings were flavorful and the pizza was delicious. I had the Mexican martini and it was really good. The service was also great without a long wait.

View of the back of the restaurant where the band is set up and people are dining.

Really great place! We loved sitting outside overlooking the river and enjoying the live music. Kids loved going down the stairs to explore. Food was absolutely stellar! Hands down best pizza we have had in Texas and the cheesecake was out of this world. Prompt, friendly service with a smile. I cannot recommend it enough! I'm not much for food photography but I wish I had it to include in this review.

Chicken Salad Sandwich, and Soup of the day (loaded potato with bacon bits) and saltine crackers
    Georgia S.

Chicken salad sandwich is amazing!!! I got the chicken tortilla soup as well and it had the perfect amount of subtle spice along with out of this world taste. The chicken was high quality. Bacon bits in the loaded baked potato soup were chewy and seemed undercooked. The whole vibe of the restaurant is super cute! I love the location and love how you can walk around from shop to shop.

I loved the whole experience. It's such a cute space and has that elevated feel without feeling overly fancy or uncomfortable. We started with the grilled focaccia and Watermelon on Fire, and both were excellent. The watermelon was one of those dishes that sounds a little questionable on paper but completely works once you taste it. Sweet, savory, a little spicy and really fresh. We also had the Texas quail, which was beautifully cooked and full of flavor. I had the blackberry bourbon cocktail and loved that too. What really stood out during dinner though was how personable the service was. We never felt rushed and our server actually engaged with us, which made an already good dinner feel even better. I went back this past Saturday for brunch with my sister, her husband and my fiancé. It was definitely a livelier experience with more people around, but still a really nice atmosphere for a Saturday brunch. The service was good and everything came out as expected, although it didn't have quite the same personal touch that I experienced during my first visit. Between the four of us we got to try quite a bit. The shrimp and grits were rich, buttery and seasoned really well. The smoky pork tostada was packed with flavor and the potatoes on the side were honestly some of my favorite bites on the table. The French toast and fried chicken was as good as it looked, with crispy chicken, fruit and just enough sweetness. The only thing I wasn't completely sold on was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was brown, which threw me off because that's not what I normally expect from sausage gravy, and the biscuits were a little too dense for my preference. The flavor wasn't bad at all, it just wouldn't be my first choice the next time I go. Other than that, Store House has been a hit for me on both visits. The food feels thoughtful without trying too hard, the plates are beautiful, and the restaurant works just as well for a dinner with your sister as it does for brunch with a group. I'll definitely be back.

Food and drinks: Good selection in both areas. The food we ordered arrived well plated. The food tasted good, was seasoned and flavourful. The side of grits was especially tasty. The restaurant also makes its own version of ranch dressing and ketchup. It was super tasty. We didn't try any cocktails but they looked good. Pricing: $$/$ - worth the experience.
