Margarita grilled chicken with black beans, pico, Tovrtilla strips and Mexican rice.

The food is really good especially the margarita grilled chicken! The people there seem nice.

Worst chips and salsa and fajita I've ever had in my life! The chips were so greasy and tasted bitter; the guacamole was bland and flat. The fajita featured your quality meat and was not cooked right and again they are greasy with excessive oil. Service was attentive, but food was unfortunately too poor

Asparagus was a little too crispy but I still tore it up, flavor was great and I love that they offer guiltless grill options especially bc I'm on a weightloss journey ! My waitress was very sweet and attentive!

This is one of my main spots for little lunch dates and catch up time with my teenager. It's usually fairly quite for the lunch hour here and we always enjoy getting Alicia as our waitress . Y'all this girl goes above and beyond to keep her customers and guest happy with the service and food they receive. She is ALWAYS super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu . She stays on top of refills and and just serving her customers in general. Now ... Let's talk food I have Never and I mean Never been dissatisfied with my food here. I can definitely suggest a few of my favorites . The southwestern egg rolls are AHH-mazing ( you'll find these in the appetizers ) . These are little rolls of deliciousness to be dipped into avocado ranch. Although his is an appetizer my husband and I usually order these as a meal they are very fulfilling. Also the Honey Chipotle chicken crispers are the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and on a whole new level of yummy . Now I have a secret to share my daughter and I literally come here for a drink ( non alcoholic of course ). It's the blackberry lemonade ( oh man it's SO good ). So I know right now you are like I've never seen that on the menu ( that's cause it's not ) but guys it's a thing a real drink and if you request it they will whip it up for you and it's indescribable . I will actually call in a to go order of this lemonade only and go pick it up that's how good it is. If your passing by stop in and give them a try. If you're lucky you'll meet our sweet Alicia and you won't be disappointed with the service or food .

Great service from Terry, she was a sweetheart. Love the southwestern egg rolls, but definitely wouldn't recommend the crunchy cheese curds.

Now, at first they got my order wrong. Instead of grilled they brought it out fried. Had to return them. Then, they brought it out with drumsticks instead of all flats like I had ordered (it's $3 extra). I didn't mind accepting them because I had to wait a while for the first and second batch and I didn't want to wait again. The waitress insisted on taking them back to make it right. I ended up with extra wings on the house! So that was super nice of her! Other than my wings, we had ordered the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls as our appetizer. Crispy outside texture with a good amount of ground beef oozing with cheese! It was fantastic. My fiancé thought it had a heavy onion taste to it, but I didn't seem to notice. He ordered the firehouse burger. It had fried jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. If you love spicy food, this is a great choice! It may not be as spicy as one would hope, but it has a good flavor. Even though they got my order wrong, they made it right & gave us extras. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

We were very happy with both meals. The server was very friendly and attentive. Tonight was a totally different story. I placed a carryout order while in town for business. I ordered the same as before. Caesar salad, chicken tenders, fries and Cole slaw. I arrived five minutes prior to the designated pick up time and gave them my name. The hostess looked at the various orders and said my order wasn't ready. So I waited, and waited, another hostess came by and asked what I was waiting for, when I gave her my name, the order was there the whole time. They also did not include any utensils, ketchup for the fries or the honey mustard that was supposed to come with the tenders. The only highlight was the Cole slaw. The tenders were overcooked and the fries were mostly end pieces and partial pieces.

She doesn't like a buffet or says she can't eat enough to justify the price. Had our 8 year old grandkids Twins A boy and a girl. I asked them what they wanted for lunch and as soon as they saw the sign both hollers at me from the back seat saying Papaw Golden Corral. In we went. I barely got the tab paid and looked around and they were all ready making their plates. I realized I had made a decent choice since they apparently knew where everything was. Now I have always liked GC's fried chicken and their veggies. The kids had a chicken leg a slice of pizza some shrimp and our granddaughter had made herself a salad. So in the back of my mind we came to the right spot. I had some shrimp, some catfish, a chicken breast and some chicken livers over rice with chicken gravy. My grandson went to the salad bar and got me a small bowl of white slaw. I'm just getting into my shrimp and they had inhaled their food and was going back to the bar again. She came back with a taco in a hard shell and Mac and Cheese. He came back with Mac and Cheese and one of their mini cheeseburgers. After a shot of Ketchup he was eating like a hungry young man. I had just gotten up to get me a little something to fill that void and they had gotten themselves some ice cream with sprinkles and a couple cookies. One of them offered to get me some ice cream so did say no sprinkles please. Everything was fresh the bar was clean and well stocked. Our waitress kept our empty plates gone and our glasses full of tea, sprite, and lemonade. I think as we were leaving they were content with lunch. I definitely realized at 29.00 dollars for our lunch we did good. Their daddy asked when we got back home where did we go and said they like the Golden Corral where they live also. I used to like their breakfast. But they call it brunch now and they don't seem to have the choice of breakfast items like it used to. Or maybe the weekend differ's from the weekdays. I recently had breakfast at one in Winston after my Dr. Appointment and I noticed really quick that brunch was not what I came for.

I was a little bummed that did not have fountain sodas. My sister got a smoothie and really liked it. For my entree I got the Italian flatbread. It was a really nice combination of flavors with the sausage and peppers. I sampled my boyfriend's flatbread (pickled) and thought it was great as well! I really didn't know what to make of it all, and worried the food wouldn't be very good, since their focus seemed split in several directions. However, I tried several different things on the menu, and most of them did not disappoint. We split a Green Bacon Flatbread and Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, and I also got a side of mac and cheese and a strawberry smoothie. The flatbread was pretty good, although it did JUST taste like bacon. I ate it with ranch, which they do well. I suspect their other flatbreads (which they have a LOT of) are less one-note, but I'll never know, because I would just order this one again. The quesadilla was great, and the chicken was well-seasoned. They also season the outside of the tortilla, and I appreciated the extra kick of flavor. This came with sour cream and a salsa verde. The mac and cheese was mild, creamy, and chock full of pepper. Usually I like a sharper cheese flavor, but I enjoyed it. Smoothies were extremely cheap (under $5 for a 16 oz), but unfortunately we got what we paid for. They were wayyyy too sweet for our tastes, and not a lot of any fruit flavors came through. Our server was kind, attentive, and quick. The interior was very spacious and I noticed several people with laptops out doing work while they drank coffee. It's a nice space.

I ordered the shrimp and corn while my husband got the crab cakes. Some places are mostly filling with hints of crab, Full Moon was the opposite--maximum amount of crab with the right amount of "cake". The shrimp was great and perfectly steamed. The corn came out piping hot! The service was fantastic. The seating is mostly bar tops which is cool and allows for the service to be seamless. Honestly it felt like a beach vacation on a Tuesday. If I could give this place ten stars, I would. You will have a wait when you get there, and you…read morewill wait no matter how long it takes. You cannot find a better place for a meal, or more kind folks running the place from top to bottom. And if your plate is too big to finish, feel free to take it home, because you'll want to save room for dessert. Magnolia 23 is a staple in our household. So long as we've lived within a 30 minute drive, it has been a great place for a Sunday lunch, or any other meal within the hours they are open. They treat you like family from the very start with the way that they take names for the line. It's natural to start a conversation with the people around you, because everyone has the same end game - a great meal. Once you're seated, it's never long before a waitress comes and takes your drink order. The menu for the day is posted on Facebook and written on the board on the wall, along with the sides and dessert options. There's no menus because it's a meat and two sides, plus a bread of either roll or cornbread. The seating is tables and chairs, although some areas have couches for seating, which is a nice change of pace. Today I got stewed beef with sides of mac and cheese, yams, and bread choice was cornbread. My other half got the country style steak, with sides of cabbage and rice with gravy, and bread of cornbread. The littles shared a fried chicken plate with side of mashed potatoes with gravy. They divided and conquered their food so fast I forgot to snag a picture of it. The stewed beef was perfection. So tender, and the juices went well with the cornbread. The yams were expertly spiced, and prepared with so much love. The mac and cheese was delicious, so I offered some to my youngest who promptly stole the rest of it. I did sample the country style steak, and it was so delicious that none was spared. I cannot wait to eat my leftover stewed beef later this week, as I knew I wanted to save room for dessert. We ordered two fried apple pies, and a slice of Hershey bar cake. Be careful with the fried pies - the filling turns into molten lava when heated, so despite the fact that you'll want to take the largest first bite, please be patient and spare your taste buds from their imminent demise by letting it cool a minute. The spices on the apple filling on the fried pies were perfect, and I savored every bite that I stole from my husband. My dessert was the Hershey bar cake, which I split with one of my littles. It didn't have a thick layer of icing, which was great. The cake had a nice crumb, and was sweet without being overly sweet. If you haven't been here yet, make sure to take note of their hours and then take a trip to Asheboro. Once you've finished your meal, feel free to take a stroll around downtown and know that you've just had the best meal around. Magnolia 23 is worth the price and worth the wait, because you will be blessed by the whole experience.

I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.
