I chose the stromboli with sausage, ham and beef. Our server stopped by to refill our drinks and commented the stromboli's usually take a little longer. We did did not notice how long it took, so, it could not have been too bad. When our meals arrived, we were very impressed. We both thought the presentation was perfect. My stromboli was huge! You don't get to be my bestie if you order 1 ranch! I really wanted to try the chocolate eclair cake but I was stuffed. Normally, I would have taken it to go but I wasn't going straight home and it was like 300 degrees outside, so nope. The checks aren't priced but I was expecting it to be $15 for the shrimp plus the tea. It rang up as $8.99 plus the tea. That's right, they only charged me for the Senior Meal which was 8 oz of shrimp. While I don't "think" I look 65, I really appreciated the huge savings. . I've eaten other things here in the past but hadn't reviewed so here's a list of what we've had that was delicious: baked spaghetti, meatball sub, cheeseburger club and for breakfast Hubs gets the hearty Plaza Sampler and I love their French toast with bacon! The manager doubled down on that attitude--no apology, just a lecture about their menu. That kind of response is unacceptable. If there's confusion, you clarify it--you don't push it onto the customer. I gave them another shot later, hoping it was just a one-off experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I ordered marinated steak strips with a salad (listed online around $14.99) and added a single chicken breast. When I picked it up, the total was $31. I asked why, and was told the chicken breast alone was $9. For one basic chicken breast, that's excessive. What made it worse was the reaction--I got a look like I was the problem for even questioning it. At this point, it's not just about the prices--it's the combination of being overpriced and the attitude behind it. If you're going to charge premium prices, the service needs to match. The cooler is always stocked with desserts and looks good but now we know. The box was dated 19 days ago. If this was the prep date, it's 12 days past its good by date - especially given the cheese in the topping/filling. It tasted pungent. No go. Another waste of $.
