6oz Sirloin steak dinner
Deborah O.

It's come a long way baby! I use to go to the "original" Chilis back in Dallas, TX on Greenville Ave. in an old wooden house. It was all about chili burgers, chili soft tacos, bowl of chili, etc w pictures of Teralingua, Tx around us. A limited menu w beer as their only liquor drink back then. Sooo much has changed since those humble days! Tonite I got the 6oz sirloin dinner & shrimp w mashed potatoes & broccoli. I had a Happy Hour margarita before dinner. It was all very good. My server, Amanda was still excellent even though it got busy. Lots of ppl in the bar area watching the football games and having a good time. Just good ol American food when you gotta have it. I'll be back soon.

We've been here twice now and this location is nice. I wanted to 3 for $10 ( includes drink, appetizer and entree) and ordered the burger, with black bean patty , no bacon , salad and fries are included. I like how they grill and serve it BUT my epiphany was yesterday when I asked about burger sauces they have since mayo is too plain. They used to have a "secret sauce" but sadly stopped serving it a few years ago. Our server was really pleasant and told me about them all and I chose the Santa Fe sauce. BINGO! It's really flavorful and it made my burger so much more tastey. Why did I not ask about them before? I didn't finish my fries but that burger sure made my day. There's a bar but we didn't order an adult beverage today and there's outdoor seating. Unfortunately it's too hot to use now and wasn't set up. I'll be back.

All I got was a "bowl" of chili. It was about 7oz. It was just meat and so salty that it was inedible. I'm not very picky, especially when I'm very hungry (which I was), and I HATE throwing away food so I'll usually eat something even if I don't like it, but I had to throw it away. Also, there was a little piece of WOOD in it. BTW this was a take-out order.

I got ribs. Used my hands.

My sister and I came for a quick dinner before going to see Cats. The assistant manager sat us and chatted with us for awhile. Our waiter Connor was attentive and fun. We did the 2 for $25. The guacamole starter was fresh and yummy. My sister enjoyed her fajitas and my ribs were really good. We finished with cheesecake. We had a lot of leftovers too.

What's in this photo you ask Yelp? Not my Southwest egg rolls...that's what.

It's a different location, but the food was just as good. We were greeted when we walked in an opted to sit outside. It was a little breezy, but felt good. I was feeling a salad so I ordered the BLT chopped salad with additional fried chicken. You can't go wrong with bacon! AND, the answer to avocado is always yes! It came with a champagne vinaigrette, which didn't really seem like enough, so I ordered a side of ranch. My partner didn't eat the pinon that came with her meal, so I threw those on my salad as well. My partner ordered the Pesto Pasta with grilled chicken. She also got a side of the sauteed balsamic mushroom. Whoa! Those mushrooms were delicious! For drinks she ordered the bourbon mule, and I got my typical IPA. The meal and drinks hit the spot. I can always count on Tula's to quench my thirst and fuel my appetite. The host and server were very polite. The place wasn't packed, so the ambiance was chill. On the way out we noticed they have a nice fire pit in the corner where you could chill, have a drink, and maybe some appetizers. It was a nice meal.

They do have a very nice patio but I was eating inside in lieu of out in the 95 degree heat and flies. I mentioned it to my very sweet server and she got me a battery fan to put on my table to shoo flies! (See pic) I ordered their wonderful Reuben w Caesar side and ate it with the fan shooing the flies while I ate inside. Seriously!! I did let her know the homemade croutons were stale and tough and not very edible. Service, food and drinks here are always very good and polite. I'll be back but not when the outside summer flies are taking over.

The portion of beets was minimal, cut into very small pieces, and lacked any noticeable seasoning or marinade. The dish was dominated by large, bitter arugula leaves rather than a balanced mix, with very little cheese and no nuts as expected. The overall flavor was flat, with an odd emphasis on dried fruit that didn't help the dish. The quinoa salad was similarly unbalanced, consisting mostly of plain, unseasoned quinoa with very little else. Adding chicken helped slightly, and it was at least moist, but it had very little flavor. Table service in the bar area appeared stretched thin. We had to flag down our server to clear the table and request the check. After receiving the bill, we waited about 15 minutes before ultimately getting up to find her. The ambiance was very nice, which brings this to 2 stars. If not for that and the clean bathrooms, this would have been a 1-star experience.

The establishment boasts a truly distinctive aesthetic recalling a refined Southern charm reminiscent of Georgia that immediately commands attention. The space is remarkably well-appointed, offering expansive outdoor seating alongside an interior that is pristine, polished, and spotlessly clean throughout. I settled into a lovely private nook, perfectly positioned to enjoy the welcoming, lively atmosphere around the bar. The hospitality was top-tier from the moment I arrived gracious, attentive, and effortlessly polished. To celebrate a midday Friday, I selected their House Paloma, which arrived artfully presented, wonderfully crisp, and expertly balanced. For my main course, I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Bowl, which proved to be an absolute culinary triumph. The chicken was prepared to perfection, delivering a vibrant, fiery kick of spice that elevated the entire dish. Between the immaculate cleanliness, standout decor, magnificent cuisine, and stellar service, Sixty-Six Acres earns full marks from me. A marvelous discovery I shall most certainly be returning

Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.
