My dining companion…read morewas craving something from another restaurant on the other side of town, but considering it was so late, I suggested coming here as it had similar things on the menu, and I am so glad I suggested this place. We walked in, and the place was a little crowded, but we were still sat pretty quickly. I liked the atmosphere of the place because it seemed very open, inviting, and had a certain local charm to it. As soon as my dining companion saw the people around us getting their food delivered it looked so good she no longer remembered what we came for and we ended up ordering something completely different. We didn't wait long for our waitress to come over. She was very nice and attentive I asked her for a drink recommendations, and she mentioned some good ones. Considering the day before was New Year's Eve and I probably should've took a break from drinking, I said say screw it and got something light. It was a blood orange cider, and it was delicious, I was not expecting it to taste like that! Unable to make our minds up, we decided to split a salad and pizza. For the salad I wanted to get the Valley grande, but we compromised and got the brazos which was essentially a Caesar salad. That's how it was huge. We had enough to share and more, it was also tasty, the dressing. You could tell was definitely house made. For the pizza we decided to get a split half truchas and half chimayo (my half) and it was amazing the flavor was great and the topping fresh. Although next time I will ask for well done. On to dessert. The best thing we ordered all night was the Apple calzone. It seemed to be the size of a little football and came with two scoops of ice cream. I could tell it was made to order and it was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to go back.

I have tried alot of food here and all the desserts and I will say this. The food is much much better than the desserts. The saag paneer extra spicy is my favorite item here. My mouth is drooling as I discuss it. I tried all the desserts and there wasn't a single one which I loved, and I've had Indian desserts many times before. I would definitely come back for the food, Albuquerque doesn't really have many options for Indian food and the food here is pretty decent!

4.5 stars for service 3.5 stars for taste…read more3 stars for dinner price Channa Masala for mild yet flavorful taste Sure, try this place. It won't be your favorite but you won't regret the exploration. Average dinner price for RR. Only 2 staff worked the Friday dinner rush. Thankfully with efficiency. The rice was not 6 hours old like so many Asian restaurant dinners. The spinach paneer tasted unique compared to other Indian restaurants, though not necessarily better. The spinach itself did not spark joy. It had a certain crunchiness, though that's not the right word, and I'm a saag curry food snob so I'll move on. The fish curry uses mahimahi. Can't blame the average restaurant for the world's declining budget fish quality. This place was no exception, on this day at least. The fish was the weak link; the sauce was reasonably nice if not a bit bland. The channa (garbanzo beans) tasted fresher than other dishes and the sauce was so good that we almost got a second order just for that.

Wow... so disappointing in quality, size & preparedness of Chicken Wings!…read more Server did a reasonable job so I give her generous bump for service, but that's not the issue on this review. Haven't been at this location for quite a while, including my girlfriend never been to Hooters, so we arrived during happy hour 3-6pm, ordered tall Mex. beer for $8+ was a great bargain, nice and cold! So far so good. It was Wings Wednesday, buy 20 get 10 more for the same price, decided to try 3/sauce 2 of the three combination arrived under cook and lack the sauces we requested, So want do you do? Normally, I would not eat anything further and just excusing myself with the server that the food is bad and pay for the beers and leave (I normally don't do...do-overs), but my Girlfriend insisted we send them back, yeah..that an option, because I can tell she was hungry for some wings! So I decided to conceived to her wishes, but first taste each sauce before requesting a do-over- and unfortunately everything tasted not great , not good but just ok/fair! Fortunately, just after sampling each sauce the floor manager walk by to save the moment by asking "how is everything",prefect opportunity to send one of most obvious wings back for a do-over that were undercooked and lack sauce, which was the ones my girlfriend picked, the other just need more sauce but one of the other I pick was still a little under cooked. However, the weirdest thing to me was the manager said, "it would take about 15 minutes" to redo that order ,when we receive our full order under 10/minutes.. which only clarified why our order was received undercook, because the new order did come back within that time frame, and my girlfriend said they are perfect (note...not tasty) even thou it's a sauce I would never order, she was happy. Review: The Chicken Wings quality have deteriorated, they look like Walmart not Costco quality, to use that analogy, very small like some of the other competitors Franchises. Server only came back with our check there after, never asked if we care for anything else or Manager never came back either to check everything was all right, I don't blame them! I really dislike writing this, because bringing a new first time guest and having to send anything back was a disappointing experience for both of us! Decided not to post any pic of what we received, only a pic with an X meaning what we should of received but not on this day! Conclusion: For those who are paying attention, yes I'm picky, because I have very few rules for me to patronize any food places, which are consistency, quality food, good service and never argue with your girlfriend while eating.

Look, you're going to die someday…read more That day will come just a bit sooner if you eat regularly at Big Boss Hotlinks, but oh what a life you will have lived until then! I tried this truck for the first time today, and my doors are blown off and my socks have been knocked off! The lady at the window was super friendly, and not in a fake, awkward way, but in a genuine, "I love everyone" sort of way. Anyway, I ordered 'The Duke' special, which is a lot of stuff I like: beef, hotlinks, caramelized onions, cheese, and green chile on a hoagie roll. She took my money, and I waited, thinking this was probably a mistake. I hadn't heard much about the place, but it seemed like with all those components, some of the weaker ones would bring down the entire sandwich. Boy was I wrong. The beef was beautifully cooked, with just a bit of pink showing, the hotlinks were smokey and delicious, the onions were soft and plentiful, the green chile had heat, and the cheese tied it all together into a beautiful gooey mess on a soft and inviting roll. I needed the extra fork she provided, as I 'got nasty' with it, caring less and less about what proper eating etiquette is, and more and more about getting it into my mouth as soon as possible. I'm not going to lie to you - this is not health food. Not even close. In fact, there really isn't anything I'd consider 'healthy' on the entire menu. If you're looking for something green, you've come to the wrong place. This food truck's menu is a carnivore's paradise, and it's going to cause long-term problems, but you know what? I live in the short term. It's greasy and brown, and just amazing. This would be the ultimate hangover food if I were hung over, which might just be the best compliment I can give the place. I'll definitely return.
