    Cheese enchiladas

Great food and the service even better. Cheese enchiladas dinner had large portions. Beans are really good. Live music on weekends. Mini sopas with cinnamon sugar are the bomb.

Disappointed. Taco, enchilada "plate". Small portions, fork bigger than the taco, enchilada hard and cold, dry. Like leftovers. Not gonna go back with so many other NM Mexican food places around.

The food and service is always excellent at this place. Will only come to this one. Never bad food or customer service.

The server said they were going through a shift change when our order took over 30 minutes to arrive. But, that did not explain the long waits to be seated, to get out waters, to have our orders taken and to pay the bill. The nachos were great. Loaded with tons of meat, cheese and veggies. They were just the right amount and just the right level of spice. The salad was a salad. The tuna melt tasted like straight pickle juice. We are assuming this wasn't the normal recipe and that something must have gone wrong in the kitchen because most people couldn't eat this. We sure couldn't.

Why order food when you have just gone to Sam's club and bought a bunch of frozen shit and reheated it for your night. 3 stars because Sam's Club food isn't terrible. It's just lazy. The tables and chairs seem cheep and corner cutting, but the bar, VIP room, and wood on the walls look great and took time. Despite posted hours (kitchen open until 9:30 PM, bar until 10 PM), no employees were visible for nearly ten minutes after I arrived. I asked the other four other patrons if it was closed. They said, "No, the service just sucks." When the bartender finally emerged from the back, there was no greeting, no eye contact, and no offer of a menu--just a curt "What can I get you?" while walking away. I asked for a tequila; he said they were out. I pointed to a bottle on the shelf, and he replied, "You mean the añejo?" I said yes and asked the price. His response: "I have no clue." When I asked if he could look it up, he seemed annoyed. This was during one of the busiest weeks of the year, yet the bar was clearly staffed with the C-team. For a hotel I stay at six or more times a year, this was disappointing and unprofessional. I'll continue staying here for convenience--but I won't be eating or drinking at the bar again until management takes service seriously.

My cousins and I enjoyed some drinks here when we first checked in and we also grabbed late dinner here on the last night of our stay. There is a tradeoff for convenience so don't expect too much of the food or service here. I can see why the waitress would be flustered while it's busy but she was just as flustered when we were the only guest around so I think it's just her personality. For dinner we shared the Spinach Dip ($9) which comes with toasted flatbread and tortilla chips. I really like that it comes with two different types of carbs to dip but then the spinach dip itself was tiny and you will easily have extra flatbread and chips in ratio to the dip. For our entrees my cousins had the Braised Beef Torta ($11) and one of the Taco entrees ($11-12). It seemed "okay". I had the Breaking Bad Salad ($14) which is probably the world's most unhealthy salad. It had spring mix and romaine, smoked bacon, pulled pork, cheddar jack cheese, chopped egg, tomato, cucumber and crispy fried onions. It was slightly overdressed and heavy for a salad, but an edible option. I'm glad the hotel had a restaurant and it was convenient. My low expectations were met and I survived the evening. 4 stars since we were in Albuquerque but it would be 3 stars in any other decent food scene.

To put it succinctly: you do not want to go to this Buffalo Wild Wings. The other one star reviews on Yelp for this location are absolutely accurate. 1. The place is filthy. We arrived around 19:00 / 7:00 PM on a Saturday night. The dining room looked like it had been hit by a blast of some sort, almost every table was crowded with items that should have been bussed hours ago. We were told to sit in the back area. We wiped down a high top and sat down. 2. When told to sit in the bar area, a younger, hefty guy with a mustache yelled across the dining room at us, where we standing by the door. 3. The server was clearly overwhelmed. This place is woefully understaffed. 4. One of our sides was a side salad with the vinaigrette dressing. They brought out a teaspoon of the dressing in the cup, saying they were out, and they were going to make some more. After making more, the new dressing looked nothing like the old dressing and it was clearly sweet onion dressing. No dressing was going to bring life back into the wilted mess that they claimed to be a garden salad. We sent it back. 5. We had ordered boneless wings as an appetizer, they came after the entree after I reminded someone (not our server) that we ordered boneless wings. 6. The server stopped by once to check on us after the food came out about 30 minutes after it was ordered. I asked for a second beer. It never arrived. 7. The beer cheese cheesesteak has a "gone through the meat grinder" vibe to it and it was burned 8. There was a disheveled woman dressed in BWW clothing walking around with a cup of soup for no less than 10 minutes. Pity the soul that ended up with the soup. When server arrived I said, "we'd like to pay the check, please take off the salad". He did, however, no itemized receipt at all, so I did the mathematics in my head. I then asked for the second beer that never arrived to be removed from my check, he did that too, again the total went down but I never received an itemized check. This place is miserable. I don't know if it fits the vibe of Albuquerque or what, because I'm not from Albuquerque, but I have to think that the folks of this city deserve better than whatever this is suppose to be.
