This taco was very moist and taco shell was not at all hard.

This will be the last time at this location. We got to the drive thru at 9pm (close time 930pm) and we finally left by 945pm. We weren't happy when we opened and tried to eat our food. The chile dog & fries tasted old, and the taco burgers were the worst I've ever had there.

Truly, when you see a local person wiping their nose... You know it's the #realdealholyfield!!!! Who goes to New Mexico & eats burgers & fries... Hello yours truly!!!! Ha!!!! Not your classic burger & this was my quest; quest completed & I enjoyed. The taco burger is an amp sized hamburger strip, layered with cheese & lettuce all wrapped in a tortilla wrap... Yummmmmmy!!! Seasoned just right, almost too spicy, but not that spicy. The Green chile cheese fries live in a lane all by themselves. You AIN'T eating them without some iced liquid beverage nearby, this I promise. Just the right amount of cheese:green chile:French fry ratio. You walk up to the window to place your order & return to your car to wait for your number to be called over a P.A. System. Not a mandate, just what is done; it works, so go with it. Inexpensive eating. Quick preparation. And order taking & filling. They make suggestions & are patient with newbies like myself. I see a repeat visit in my future!!!!

This whole in the wall has some great food! I went for the Taco Burger at first I was kinda sceptical about the combination, but after the first bite I was sold. The chile is awesome, a burning sensation within my mouth, but later that day my stomach was responding differently. I really did not care, I made up my mind to go later that day again. I also had a taste of the Chile dog, also a hit like the taco burger. I wish they had a place like this in LA, cause Tommy's has nothing on this spot.

Old fashion burger with Green chilli cheese fries.

Just not a good burger. What else can I say? Dry, not much flavor. And I love burgers, but not this one.

Food: Appetizers: We got a variety including duck confit egg rolls, encrusted brie, fried asparagus, mussels, rattlesnake sausages and sopaipillas. The encrusted brie was a crowd favorite (who doesn't love fried cheese?) but I thought the addition of bread was unnecessary when the brie provided its own crispy texture. The mussels were good but a little spicy so beware! The sopaipilla was my least favorite dish. They served bite sized sopaipillas with cheese on top. A delicious idea but the sopaipilla was chewy and flat rather than fluffy. All entrees come with the option of a soup or salad. French Onion Soup: This was my side of choice and it was super salty. Norwegian Salmon: The salmon was perfectly cooked. It was flaky and moist but had crispy skin. The saffron tomato risotto that came with it was undercooked. The Farm: This comes with duck leg confit, lamb chop, and rotating protein (elk for our meal). Each meat was perfectly cooked. The duck meat fell off the bone easily and was succulent. The lamb chop and elk were tender and not overcooked. The green chile risotto that came with it was quite spicy! However, it does seem variable as others had the same side but it was less spicy. Lemon Leche Cake: True to its name, it was very lemony while keeping the tres leche cake flavor. It was quite cold. Service: 4 Our servers were very patient with our large group and did not make any mistakes with our orders. Ambiance: 4 Seared is a small restaurant with a southwest theme. We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.

First, I have gone to this place off and on for several years. I find it a nice change of pace from the rest of the world. Second, it is a little funky, even for Albuquerque. The owners seem to want to be "Austin like." In a funny sort of way, I think it gets there. It reminds me of the All-Good Cafe in Dallas. Maybe if there was some live music ala All Good, it would seal the deal. Food was good. It was served hot. Everyone got their orders around the same time. Two in the group are vegetarians. The menu had options for them to choose from. I had the Klasic Kosmic Burger with cheese and bacon and a side salad. The salad was big enough to share or have as an entrée. The burger was a little overcooked but good. Lots of bacon!! Next time I will split the order with my wife. My wife had the fish and chips. She could not eat the whole meal and brought some home. The spudnik fries were terrific - hot with a crunchy outside. Two in the group had the afghan rice. They thought the dish was good. Beer and wine is served. Parking is easy and plentiful. The place has patio - I look forward to summer afternoons on the porch. Overall: good choice. Lot of good feedback from the Loungers.

This is a pharmacy/store/diner with a very good local vibe. The pharmacy has a bit of everything, from books, jewelry, and toys, to clothing, decor, and kitchen stuff. And when we thought there was no space for a diner, we found where the magic takes place just around the corner, where we were welcomed and seated. People were friendly, kitchen staff were getting stuff out quickly, and our server was ok. Efficiency was a clear target for everyone and our food was on our table in no time. For food, our friends ordered the breakfast burritos (with red only and a Christmas version), , the hubs ordered the carne adobada, and I ordered the tamal plate with red and green, just like I like I like it . Everyone was pleased with their choices. The burritos were big and tasty. The carne adobada had a lot of deliciously marinated pork and the steamed potatoes were quite a good addition. The tortilla with butter was simple yet delicious, with a firm and thick tortilla. The tamal plate was almost perfect. The red and green sauces were amazing, but I was slightly partial to the spicier green chile sauce. The masa on the tamales was firm and good. If there was one change I would make, it would be for the tamales to have more filling. Overall, we had a good experience at a very unique place! I personally wasn't a fan of the sopapilla bread, it had a bit of a sour taste that didn't sit right with me, so I didn't finish it. My husband, on the other hand, really liked it. I actually enjoyed that more than the sopapilla. We had dinner reservations later, so we just stopped by for a small bite. The attached pharmacy was cool, it reminded me of a New Mexican mom-and-pop version of CVS and looked like a fun spot to pick up local gifts.

We took a stroll around old town Albuquerque. And decided to look at the menu at Church St Cafe. We decided to give it a try. The hostess walked us through a door into the restaurant, which went on forever with beautiful, cozy, quaint rooms filled with people that eventually led to a beautiful patio. We were in shock when we eventually sat down by a pond with waterfall. The decor was spot on with perfect New Mexico south west style. The server, Mico, was the best. Their red, green, and regular salsas were wonderful. We ordered a top shelf margarita and a spicy margarita. My top shelf margarita was the WORST margarita i have ever tasted. It cost $20.00 for a small gross tasting sweet margarita mix with no hint of resposado tequila or other ingredients that make it a top shelf drink. Mico was sweet and took it off our bill. She was curious and asked about why I told her it was the worst. I asked if the margarita had agave, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, lime juice, resposado tequila. (I add a little OJ and pineapple juice) Church st cafe has a license to only carry New Mexico brands of liquor. They do not have the ingredients to make a Top Shelf/ Cadillac Margarita. I wish we Wouid have know. I Wouid not have ordered a cocktail. Proper expectations make the experience better. The manager, Marie, spoke with us. She was very nice. She explained how they make it and their restraints with their liquor license. This cocktail could be made better and the price dropped. But after listening to Marie, it seems that "it is what it is" and will not be fixed. I hope they do try to make a better margarita to match the beauty of the space. The ambiance of this place is so cool. We will go back to try more of their food with no cocktail and sit in one of the cozy rooms.

The first was the roast beef dip with chili as the au jus and it was wonderful. The queso is also outstanding as is the salad with the cranberries--crisp, fresh and tasty. The fried ice cream is superb. The second meal was the Pueblo burger, which was a hamburger on fry bread. It was truly awful. The patty was gray and utterly tasteless. I think it was one of those frozen premade things. It leaked grease which made the fry bread soggy. The lettuce on it was butt end bitter romaine that was wilted and had turned slimy the longer it sat on the fry bread. I gave up on the whole thing pretty quickly. I suppose I could have raised a fuss and asked for something else but I just wasn't up to it. (I am here because my husband is in the VA hospital and I am pretty drained.) Had anyone at any time asked how it was, I would have told them. My advice is to have one of their excellent margaritas and enjoy the beautiful patio, and stay far, far away from any hamburger.
