It wasn't too busy and i was greeted and seated right away. It's a casual spot but roomy, liked very clean, and the decor was cute with festive decorations hanging from the ceiling and little gold statues near the front. I noticed the whole time i was there they had a Michael Jackson Playlist going which i really loved. The menu had a good variety of items, but of course I came for the pho. The server told me his favorite was the filet mignon pho, so i went with that, and was so glad i did. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was extremely tender, it felt like it melted in your mouth. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the size wasn't too thick or too thin. The portion was pretty big and they brought out a tray of the vegetables to mix in. I added a bit of chili oil for some heat. My throat was sore from allergies and this along with the hot tea i ordered really soothed it. The service was very good and efficient. They gave me recommendations and a the woman at the counter brought me a small little cup of a rice dessert, that was a nice end to the meal. I've honestly been thinking about this place ever since i went, and i plan to go back again this week . Definitely give them a try, especially if you like pho.

The bun/vermicelli noodle dish was perfect. Good ratio of veggies, protein, and noodles. The pho came out piping hot and full of meat and noodles. The fried rice had equally the same quality. Water refilling was attentive. The ambiance is simple, but not trite or cluttered. I very much appreciate the very clean bathroom. Simple pleasure, but it tells me a lot about a place. I hope to come back here when we go to CCA.

They weren't very busy for lunch, but the weather doesn't really call for pho as much! I was interested in their Banh Xeo but we also did try their Pho Dac Biet to see if we would like the pho here. Banh Xeo (3.5/5): This was great, and so refreshing with lettuce wraps and mints. The banh Xeo remained super crispy and was so yummy with the fish sauce. My complaint was that the pork was dry and the lettuce had some wilted edges, which I was wary about. Other than that the shrimp inside and batter was delicious. Pho Dac Biet (3.5/5): Clean broth and not too salty. The bowls came with brisket, tendon, meatballs, and some flank meat. Minimal veggies were offered. Overall, a little more quality and freshness in the ingredients would serve this dining experience better! My family did enjoy the food and the flavors are all there.

Parking can be tight sometimes but we usually find a spot close enough. Their bun bo nuong (beef vermacelli with eggrolls) has been especially our go-to lately during this summer heat! Everyone is on top of it and very nice

The main reason I'm leaving this review, though, is to give a heads-up about their 0-10 spice scale. I ordered a level 3, and it had me sweating! If you enjoy spicy food, I'd still suggest starting at a 2 and working your way up on your next visit. Their spice levels seem much hotter than you might expect. The food was incredible, but definitely don't underestimate the heat. Better to start low and add more next time than end up with a dish that's too spicy to enjoy!

It is very conveniently located off the freeway close to playgrounds for 4S Ranch, Carmel Mountain, and Poway. The kids meal has either chicken or well done beef noodle soup or steamed rice or vermicelli with grilled chicken or pork. We tend to go with the well done beef noodle soup and I order a grilled pork rice plate, and share my rice with him afterwards. He likes to eat the meat, then the noodles and rice, and sip the soup. Grilled pork is quite tasty. Service doesn't take long and workers are attentive and clean quickly when a table finishes eating. Their remodel also has made everything look more modern and bigger. I recommend if your toddler likes noodles and rice. Ensure you don't give it to them hot!

What little amount was good, but the order would've been nice if it came with just a few more pieces. I'm glad I only ordered one item and did not succumb to pressure.

But this visit I accidentally stumbled onto something that deserves its own review. I ordered a Soda Chanh Muối and a Cucumber Cooler. Halfway through the meal I decided to pour them both into one larger cup just to see what would happen. Y'all... I may have accidentally created my favorite drink on the menu. The salty citrus from the Soda Chanh Muối mixed with the cool minty cucumber flavor from the Cooler was ridiculously refreshing. It tasted like a perfectly balanced salty lemonade with a crisp cucumber finish. I honestly sat there wondering why this wasn't already on the menu. If you're eating here, do yourself a favor and order both drinks. Mix them together. Trust me on this one. The Bún Bò Nướng is still amazing as always, but I might have discovered my new favorite drink combination. 10/10 highly recommend

We ordered the beef stew and it arrived lukewarm, with about 40% of the beef being fat. We also didn't receive any chopsticks, utensils, napkins--nothing. Looking at other reviews, apparently they've stopped providing those things. Unfortunately, this used to be our go-to place, but we have to bring our rating down from 5 out of 5 to 3 out of 5. If someone can confirm that this place is under new management, please do, because there's no way we wouldn't have noticed these problems sooner. It's unfortunate and I hope they learn from this and improve because these reviews are only going to get worse. I don't know what's going on.

But this time was a huge disappointment after 8 hours of driving I wanted to pick up some Thai food . I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba , Shrimp Thai green curry level 6 spice ... I had only gotten 4 tiny shrimps and over cooked sliced scraps of veggies ? jalapeño , shavings of eggplant and bamboo . The curry itself was very salty and inedible. What a waste of 32.00 even after being so hungry after my drive I couldn't force myself to eat another bite . I'm probably never going to come here again after this experience .. There is also a cooks wanted sign outside .. so that probably is a red flag Hopefully this place can get it together .
