All the staff were respectful of the space and diligent in their work. They coordinated easily with other repair teams onsite. Communication was quick and easy; he explained the process and work intended for each day - even down to little details and repairs along the way. The team made an old house with peeling paint look fresh and vibrant again! I recommend Miguel's Painting for people who want a straightforward, thorough and hardworking team that will get the job done when promised and bid competatively.

Unfortunately, the drywall repair wasn't to our liking. We hired Miguel to complete the drywall repair and to paint the ceiling afterwards so it matches. Overall, the painting was 10/10. The repair that Miguel completed was a lot better than before. Prior to finishing up the initial painting, Miguel had agreed to come back if we saw an issue with the drywall after the paint was dry. After pointing out an issue with the drywall to him via text, he agreed that some additional work was needed and was willing to come back to get it done the following Monday. After trying to confirm with him if he was still coming on Monday, he pretty much ghosted me and did not respond to my message. I tried following up 2x but no response. Overall, the painting was 10/10. Would I feel comfortable hiring him again? Probably not. If you see something that you're not 100% satisfiedyou run the risk of being ghosted by Miguel if you asked him to come back.

When he was at the home he was able to walk me through best practices for wall care, as well as his recommendation for design as a professional. The estimate was very clear regarding what we would expect for the amount of work that was being done. Although the timing didn't work out for us, this was the most clear, transparent estimate I've received out of a handful of painters in the area. When we're ready to hire a painter we'll be reaching out to Daniel and team first. Five stars.

I contacted Fly High Painting via Yelp for a quote and luckily they were available right away for a quick estimate. I reached out to several painting companies via Yelp and Fly High Painting was not only the most responsive, but also provided a good value for the amount of painting work done. Other painting companies had similar estimates but I felt that Fly High Painting seemed more knowledgable and also they were very good at paying attention to the details. When completed with the work, they cleaned up everything and because they put in the effort in prepping, there were no paint drips anywhere. Fly High Painting provides quality work and were very communicative and paid attention to the small details. If you want quick and sloppy work, you can go somewhere else. But if you're looking for a quality paint job, contact Ivan and Raul as they will get the job done right. I will be using Fly High Painting for all my future painting needs.

My painter recommended a general contractor that he often works with that excels at wood trim. Time was of the essence, because the floors were done and the painting was to begin. Josu, of B.M.I Contracting, had a cancelation from his schedule and was able to jump in and provide the trim for our 2200 SF house. Given COVID, trim supply was short for wood trim. Josu went to 3 sources to track down enough of the same trim for us. Josu worked steadfastly and efficiently to install the trim and the results are great! He excelled at communication of pros and cons of choices, shared appropriate details and status. This communication and care for quality resulted in our trust and appreciation. We will be hiring Josu again and already have some projects in the queue. I recommend Josu, of B.M.I Contracting, as a general contractor and trim specialist.

Josu came to do an estimate for me, for a fairly small project (trim, baseboards, etc.). In person, he was friendly, professional, seemingly knowledgeable, and I felt like he may have been a good candidate to come complete my project. He sent the quote several days later, and I did not have a chance to view it (for numerous personal reasons) for several days. On the fourth day after he sent the quote, he sent me a strongly worded text message, essentially accusing me of scamming him, and complaining that I was "abusing the system" and wasting his time. He used several other harsh descriptive words towards me, and ended with a "thanks for nothing". This seemingly sudden change of character surprised and concerned me, especially as I have never encountered such rudeness from any other contractor that I've ever worked with. Even though, on paper, he seemed like a great option, his rudeness and lack of professionalism will keep me far away from B.M.I. Contracting in the future.
