I came with a few friends and it was a fun experience to try. You start off by ordering with the waitress and then the subsequent rounds, you order off the QR code that's at the table. The restaurant was pretty busy so we had to wait longer than we wanted to place an order. As far as the food, it felt more like baos and dumplings, not so much the classic dim sum styled foods. Another con was that the menu had so many non available items-items that would have completed the dim sum experience a little better. If you want actual dim sum, go somewhere else. It was fun for the experience and value, so I was glad we came once.

Table next to us says they only come for lunch and feel like they only serve the more wanted items for dinner and just say they are "out" because they've NEVER had it. If that is true, it is highly disappointing. AYCE is 18.99 per person. Here is what we were able to order: 1. Scallion Pancake- good crisp! I liked how light and delicious this bite was 2. Crab Cheese Wonton- these were HOT in terms of temp, but 99% cream cheese so it was okay. 3. Chili Oil Wonton: loved the flavor, however skin was a bit tough, didnt steam long enough. 4. Chicken Wing- very very dry, comes without any sauce or seasoning so its on the side. 5. Pork Bun- a bit dry, but it had a savory flavor too it, not as sweet. 5. Chasu Bun- loved this one more than the 6. Pork Dumpling (did not have Beef)- it was okay, filling was decent, but again the wrapper had a weird bite to it. 7. Soup Dumplings: definitely better than the other dimpling, however they all stuck to the bottom so the wrapper ripped and I never tried the soup. 8. Chicken Feet: i normally love chicken feet but the braised sauce was underwhelming and not very...good? flavorful? 9. House Noodles: the noodles tasted a bit off. Green beans tasted and looked can to me. It just wasn't a favorite. Desserts: 1. Mango was very artificial. 2. Mocha was good, nice chocolatey taste Overall...I dont know if I would be back. I had such high hopes to try the spareribs, taro buns, golden lava buns, beef dumplings, lotus bun, sticky rice, etc. But they were all "out". Again...for an AYCE place at lunch it was $42 before tip and it would've been nice to have the full menu array. The ambiance is very bright and large screens, so it can definitely capture your attention. There was only one main server and she was doing her best.

So there's plenty of parking you just might have to walk a little further to get to the door. We were greeted and seated immediately. We placed our drink orders and then we were off to the buffet. It was set up like any other buffet, there was an Asian station with the traditional Asian foods, a fried station with your typical American foods, and even a dim sum station hidden in the back. They also had a Mongolian Grill where you could create your own! And they had a couple rolls of sushi out for grabs. The flavor of the foods with nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard and tasted normal. So I think for the variety of options you get and the price that you pay is worth it. I didn't get to try the Mongolian Grill, but I definitely wanna go back and give it a shot. They also had a soft served ice cream, machine, and a chocolate fondue station. They also offered fruits for dessert as well. With all of the options they have available. I think you could definitely find something for everybody. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back!

The bread is great. I'd love to get crème brûlée for dessert and the two double chocolate chip cookies that they serve with it is spectacular. Everything is great about this restaurant. I cannot complain about a single thing. It gets five stars across the board.

We've had similar celebrations at other restaurants over the years and 90% have met our expectations, but last Saturday at Eddie V's was by far the most amazing of them all! The table was set up and ready for a party! They had flowers and a birthday card for my wife. No other restaurant has ever done that, at least none we've been to. The food was unforgettable and our server, Nas, was very polite, professional and attentive but not intrusive. And, of course, it's an absolutely beautiful restaurant. We're looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend Eddie V's for any special occasion or just an awesome date night!

Our waitress was Olivia and she very nice and polite. She took our drink orders which were 4 lemon waters, sweet tea with lemon and easy ice, a Long Island ice tea, and a strawberry lemonade. I ordered the fried shrimp platter with a loaded baked potato. My food was amazingly good and I enjoyed it. Kenn ordered the seafood platter which fried shrimp, catfish, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp, fried oysters, fried gator, fries and steam broccoli. He said his food is delicious especially the stuffed crab was seasoned to perfection. Everything else was just as great. Shameeka and Vincent had the catfish and fried shrimp platter and she was super excited. The dish was golden brown and crispy just like she likes it. She was sitting there humming happily. He was glad his fries were golden and not hard. They really enjoyed the food. Over all we had a great time with good food and family. We hung out and caught up just enjoying

And within the last few years they redid their dessert menu which upped their game even more. Specifically my husband, daughter and I went here for my husband's birthday recently and it was as good as ever. I always get the blackened catfish. They used to serve it with dirty rice, so I like to add an extra side of this. The red beans and rice that they currently serve it with are delicious, but I don't feel the flavors pair as nicely with the blackened catfish. My husband always orders the chopped salad with fried crawfish. He likes it with the creamy vinaigrette it comes with AND blue cheese dressing. Our waiter accidentally put in an order for a Cobb Salad instead of the Chopped, so when he brought it out we were confused at first. Then we all realized the mistake. He let my husband keep the Cobb while the kitchen hurried to make him his Chopped that he ordered. I've never had their Cobb Salad before but it was really good! The dressing they serve it with tastes a little like a Russian or Catalina dressing, but leveled up--it is delicious. I still prefer the Chopped salad, but the Cobb was still very good. My main complaint is that it's served deconstructed. My daughter got the Pasta Mardi Gras. It was very good too. She realized half way through that there was a lot more sauce on the bottom, so make sure to mix it up well to get all the flavor. My daughter ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was very tasty. HOWEVER, they filled the glass to the brim with ice, so there wasn't a lot of strawberry lemonade in the glass. When she ordered a refill (which you pay a discounted price for) we commented on how much ice there was in the first one and the waiter agreed there was too much and ordered light ice for the refill. I suggest you do this from the beginning. For my husband's complimentary birthday dessert, he ordered the crème brûlée and it was honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. I usually order the key lime pie for dessert here, which is amazing. The one thing I feel they should improve on is the complimentary bread they serve as an appetizer. It tastes like the bread you pay a dollar a loaf for at Walmart. Come on Pappadeaux, you can do better than that! How about bread and dipping sauce along the lines of Carrabbas? Maybe with a Cajun bent to the dipping sauce? That would be more in line with the quality of your food.

Let's start with the Sliced Beef. It is a little difficult to explain Sichuan Peppercorns if you have never had them. Probably one of the most accurate descriptions I have heard to date is that it is akin to 'addictive battery acid'. This is a food you experience! The flavors play in your mouth like a symphony while the peppercorns deliver depth and surprise like symbols crashing together at that exact right moment! And the peppercorns aren't overdone, they give just enough to excite your palate and make you want more. In stark contrast the Vegetable Delight is well seasoned al dente vegetables that just taste like home. This is not a boring standard mix either! We have King Oyster Mushroom, Broccoli, Bell Peppers, Wood Ear Mushrooms (a.k.a. Black Fungus) and my personal favorite: Lotus Roots. This is a light, bright well executed dish that is very soft on the palate after all the excitement of the sichuan peppercorns. The third dish I had today is the Pea Sprouts in garlic sauce. This is a humble green. Also done very well. You know the kids that don't like peas? That was never me. I have always loved peas! I would eat other kids peas that they didn't want. Imagine my delight upon discovering Stir Fryed Pea Greens! So good! They're Light, slightly crisp full bodied greens that give a satisfying chew! Pass the Pea Greens, please!!!!!! Chef Liu has only been here a few months and I am so glad they're here! The owners seem super nice too! It matters who cooks your food and the energy they impart to the work they do.
