Such a fun spot in Henderson! Came out to visit friends and ended up playing pickleball for over 2 hours. The covered outdoor courts made the Vegas heat much more bearable, and there are tons of courts plus picnic-style seating for friends, family, and dogs. They also have cornhole right outside the courts next to the picnic tables, which is a fun bonus for anyone who wants to hang out and play something else. The food was a surprise highlight--the chicken quesadilla was AMAZING! Crispy on the outside, loaded with chicken, and not drowning in cheese. There's also a rooftop bar, restaurant, and even a dog park, so there's something for everyone whether you play pickleball or just want to hang out. Play, eat, drink, and relax all in one place. Went at 5 PM on a weekday and was it was super slow. We first went inside, had to pick up our own menus, and after realizing no one would help us despite 3 girls standing and talking behind the bar with nothing to do, I got up and ordered myself, as well as inquire about the happy hour specials which they not want to mention to me. The bartender girl told us they would bring out the food so I said left a tip, closed out my tab, and sat outside. They only ended up bringing one set of utensils for the 2 of us, and despite it being completely dead at the establishment, the food runner said it was so busy and we had to go get our second set of utensils ourselves inside. Additionally, when we asked for a water refill to another server outside, he pointed at the water station and said to fill it ourselves. I was appalled that nothing was really serviced to us, even the most basic things. I just don't understand what I tipped for when I closed out my tab, as this was almost entirely self service. We ordered the truffle fries, the "jumbo"wings, and the steak bowl. I asked for extra rice in my bowl and even asked about additional charge costs for it, however the bartender that took the order did the bare minimum and just said no because she couldn't find a button for it. The truffle fries size was good, but a bit too salty. The jumbo wings were not so jumbo and instead smaller than the average. The flavor was fairly decent but for the misleading description, I felt like a little disappointed at the size. Lastly, the steak bowl had barely any rice in it and was also a lot smaller than I had anticipated. the steak, however was cooked well tender - just not enough to match the price. I would say that the food is probably about a 3/5, but due to the staff being seemingly lazy, I would rate this place a 2. I feel that the service is consistently poor here and this isn't the first time that I've experienced this in prior times of coming to play pickle ball. Although it's a good social vibe and it has a lot of potential for a social hangout, i certainly will NOT be back for food or service; Maybe just the Pickleball at most. read more

The indoor was really nice. I just wish they had some padding on the metal fence area for safety reasons. You need to reserve the court ahead of time, but the process was so easy compared to some places where they require you to download an app. They had a nice bar area and food seemed to be priced well. And what really sold me was THEY HAVE COCA COLA with free refill machine. None of that Pepsi crap. Just for that they get some brownie points. And...DOLE WHIP MACHINE. Like, what?! We had a 2 hr pickleball session for family time. My first time playing in almost 6 months. My kids ordered cheeseburger and fries from the kids meal. They said food was good. I was going to order after pickleball but the service was really slow. I just got a modelo during pickleball and ate Taco Bell after. This is still one of the best places to go for rotating open play from 7-9 a.m. in the morning for just $5.00! There is definitely a regular group of people who call this place their home and they play here everyday! In the morning it's free for service members and first responders. The service is excellent, there are 6 indoor courts, the air conditioning works well, the bathrooms are clean, and the food is really good. There are multiple full bars there also for those 21 and up the atmosphere is really nice. I went on a weeknight just for food and gathering. It was very relaxing in there not too busy. Outside the courts were full, but inside was ice cold air-conditioning and plenty of room to move around and enjoy. There's even a dog park and I heard they have great entertainment events, and pickleball leagues all listed on their website. Service: while you signed up for your pickleball session they do have servers that come to your court and bring you food vs going to the counter. Even if you're not playing they have an inside to eat and drink. Ambiance: they have about five courts indoor. I think they have 7-8 courts outdoor with shade. But when we finally got there it was game on. All the food was very tasty, the chicken sandwich was not as hot as I would have preferred, but let me tell you about those tater tots. They were crunchy and flavorful and just perfect. If you play pickleball, this is definitely a place you want to go. They also have air-conditioned indoor courts, that would be my preferred preference. But the outdoor courts also had fans and misters so they were able to keep it at a definitely pleasant temperature. Bottom line? If I was a pickleball player and hankering for some chicken this would be the place I would go. Had a great experience at Chicken N Pickle. The pickleball courts are well maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is surprisingly good. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are clean, spacious, and create a fun atmosphere whether you're there to play or just hang out. The only issue I noticed is with the outdoor courts, especially Courts 1-5. During the evening, the setting sun shines directly into the courts, making it very difficult to see the ball and affecting gameplay. It would be great if the facility could add shade structures or another solution to reduce the glare during sunset. The sandwich has a generous portion of chicken breast that was marinated in pickle brine (I know - sounds very weird - but tastes great!), a very generous portion of bacon cooked crispy, avocado, and Jack cheese. DELISH! Comes with a generous side of sweet potato fries. For dessert we shared the brownie s'mores skillet ($10). A hot skillet is brought to the table with a warm brownie topped with marshmallow sauce, caramel, broken up graham crackers. And toasted marshmallows on a skewer. Great presentation, better taste. My friend & I were meeting for HH so we decided to come here since we hadn't been here before. We took seats @ the bar & was greeted by Paula right away & given menus. My friend went with the HH Margarita & I grabbed a High Noon. Paula explained their payment system here...she took a CC from each of us & had told us if we went to any of the other bars our CC would be on file & we could just add onto it. We weren't planning on going anywhere but home after we ate so we didn't get to try this system out fully. We each ordered the chicken fingers which were really good!! The chicken was fresh, moist & the breading was thin. I got the sweet potato fries which were delicious! I had seen the tater tots after I placed my order....I'm a big fan of tarot tots! I'm not a fan of the dipping sauce selections as I just wanted a normal honey mustard or sweet & sour. I went with the honey mustard (was a little spicy) & BBQ. The drinks & food came out fast but my friend got her food before I got mine....weird?? I saved my coleslaw for last that they serve it in a metal cup. I picked it up off the bar to eat it & found a hair on the bottom of it. I had asked one of the bartenders "can I get another coleslaw that doesn't have hair on it please?" lol She took it away immediately & a new one, hair free came out. Paula heard about it & was mortified & apologized for it. She had told us how they're really strict about kitchen staff wearing hair nets, etc. I told her that it could have been on the bar or on the serving tray??? No biggie as it wasn't in my food nor did I find it in my mouth....I'm definitely not a fan of the coleslaw as it tasted yucky! It wasn't creamy & just tasted like vinegar. My friend ended up getting a 2nd Margarita but I wasn't ready for a 2nd High Noon. My friend & I continued to catch up & it was getting closer to 6pm when HH was going to be over & was hoping Paula was gonna come back by as I wanted to order another drink but it was exactly 6pm when she came over & told me it was too late. When the time came for us to leave I asked for the bills (for our drinks) & she told me "I had told you guys that I took care of everything" and I had said "even our drinks?" & she said "yes." I told her that she didn't need to do that but THANK YOU!! My friend & I walked thru the rest of the main building over to check the function rooms out, indoor & outdoor courts. It was nice to see that they have a dog area, seating & outdoor games. Get out there now before it hits over 100 degrees.....lol PROBLEM: A couple days later my friend texted me telling me that she had 2 pending charges on her CC for chicken fingers from this place....very weird since we each gave her a CC for separate checks. I know pending doesn't mean its been charged but my friend was headed out of the Country for a couple of weeks so I haven't heard back from her on this. So that got me curious & I thought "I should check my CC too!" So I found a charge that wasn't pending for $9.22....I have NO idea for what? Their chicken fingers cost more than that & my High Noon cost less that that. Soooooooo what happened to having our bills taken care of?? We both left cash tips for Paula based on the price of our meals & drinks so it shouldn't have been a tip. So I called the business over the weekend & spoke to staff because when I asked to talk to a manager they wanted to know what it was in ref. too?? I talked with a Kyle who told me he would relay the message to a manager but transferred me to the manager & told me if there was no answer to leave a detailed message, which I had too because no one answered..............well guess what?? One of my 30 year old hobbies of choice became pickleball. It was a ln easy transition from badminton. Then I went to chicken and pickle and was in shock how elaborate and vast the place was. To me this is the best pickleball place we have for making events because it also provides a place for the spouses or plus ones that don't want to play pickleball and just want to hangout and eat or walk around do something else. That's why I've brought my coworkers to this place more than once. We really enjoy it a lot. It not the cheapest but like you pay for what you get and honestly it's a double benefit because you're doing something for your health and getting to connect with others! I haven't had issues with service here but sometimes the people need a reminder your court is occupied and has paying customers who want to buy food and drink. There were misters overhead for those sitting right outside of the courts. On the right side, huge area for you to meet, hang out with lots of seatings. Took the family to Chicken N Pickle and booked an indoor court on a Thursday around 5. Aside from the pickleball folks on the court, it was pretty dead. Check-in was smooth, but once we got on the court, we were on our own. Nobody came by for drinks or food, even though the group in front of us somehow had beverages like they unlocked a secret level. I would've got a drink or two ... We played for an hour ($40). The indoor court area was pretty clean. Since nobody came around during our play, we ended up going to the restaurant side. I tried the slider samples - food wasn't bad, but it wasn't "text your mom about it" good either. Service is very do-it-yourself ... order at the counter, grab your own drinks, and flag someone down when you're ready to leave for your check. I wanted to tip myself after ... Overall, seems like a cool spot to chill if theres a big sporting event. They have hella TVs inside and outside. Great place for family gatherings. We went today and it was lots of fun. We were not able to reserve long times at the court but was able to get two 30 mins slots. Game was short but sweet. It was definitely great for family bonding. They also had other games you can play like the tossing game and Jenga. They both have covered courts inside and outside. I happened to be in St Rose pkwy and stopped by for brunch date w/my husband. We've wanted to tryout the place for awhile and finally had chance to checkout the place. When you enter there's big connect four, ping pong table and few more games you can play outside. We were greated by two nice staffs outside of entrance and told us quick tip and what's outside and where to order. We walked into the building ordered some Fried Pickles, Chicken N Waffles, and NKC Hot Chicken Sandwich. We were recommended to seat by the first left seating area where they had very comfortable lime green sofa. Took few photos and played few games while waiting for food to come out. Once food came out and while we were eating three different staffs stopped by and checked on us if we needed anything. All the staffs were very friendly. My NKC Hot Chicken Sandwich had two big fried chicken w/ coleslaw and spicy sauce and sweet potatoe fries as my side. I liked fried pickle and my husband enjoyed his Chicken N Waffles. I think it's great place to dine w/fam and play a little games. Very family-friendly restaurant w/great atmosphere and great lighting. I had great time playing ping pong outside. I got the hang of it after few minutes of practicing. The day we went happened to be windy so it was more of chasing after ball than actually playing. Would be nice to come at night time and dine at the secondnd floor patio if they have any lighting. If you're not into playing anything there's largebseating area so you can just seat and soak up some sun. FYI. If your into pickle ball they have indoor area across from the restaurant. They do charge you $20 per net for an hour. They also had small dog park w/fence on it. I think dogs are allowed if your dining outside. read more

Chicken N Pickle is the place for food and for pickleball fun. The last time I was in Henderson (around April), I saw this place and knew I had to visit the next time we are in town. Fast forward to a few Sundays ago... My husband, our little girl dog, my cousin and I came for a visit. My cousin, who is a local, had already been here with his wife when they first opened and liked the food he had the first time. Anyways, we arrived on a Sunday evening, around 6 pm. Then we headed towards the register. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Bill's Chicken Salad, $12.99 prior to tax- My husband decided to get a salad and opted for this one. This salad came with 6 large pieces of fried chicken breast (or like chicken tenders) that is served over a large bed of mixed greens and a nice serving of avocado slices. I didn't have any but my husband enjoyed his salad. Power Bowl, $11.99 prior to tax- I decided to get this meal and really liked it. This meal came with quinoa, kale, ancient grains, butternut squash and slices of avocado. The bowl was pretty filling and I liked the dressing that was used. Chili Cheese Dog with Tasty Tots, $10.99 prior to tax- My cousin decided to order this. Initially he liked it but after awhile, didn't because of the toasted bread that the chili dog was in. He said it was hard and cold and so he just ate the hot dog and chili and didn't eat the rest of the bread and also didn't end up finishing the tarter tots because they were also getting cold. Pink Lemonade, $3.50 prior to tax Fountain drink, $3.50 prior to tax ---------------------------------------- (Total= $46.57 after tax, prior to tip) After we ordered, we were given a number to put on our table. The number has a tracker on it, so an employee can easily find wherever you choose to sit. Because we were visiting with our little girl, we sat outside. There is a small gated dog area right outside of the restaurant. There was also a large communal table but unfortunately the door to go inside the restaurant from there was not open so we decided not to sit there. Wait time for our food wasn't that long, maybe about 10 minutes for all of our food to be brought out by 2 servers. With Chicken N Pickle, it is really cool that there are both outdoor and indoor courts and are plentiful. But to reserve a court is rather expensive. It cost $20 per hour Monday through Saturday from 7am - 5pm. Then after 5 pm, it cost $40 per hour. On weekends, it cost $40 per hour. On our visit, I was surprised to see that most of the courts (both inside and out) were taken with people playing (I guess if you split the cost with friends, it may be more affordable but I think it would be pretty costly for my husband and I to play for an hour or two). If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular for their food and for the bar. But would probably look somewhere else to play pickleball. read more
