Lifetime is removing the bikes and eliminating cycle classes at some point. Apparently spin classes aren't trendy(?!). That's a shame because they're taking away an important cardio option for people who like or need no impact. Every time they raise my dues I get the typical corporate-speak email about how they're going to improve my 'member experience.' I have been a member of this Lifetime fitness for more than a year, and I have been member years prior in locations in Texas and Michigan. I can say in most definitive terms- Lifetime is not what it once was, and I will never be a member anymore. First of all, Lifetime is expensive. At $400+ for couples it is the most expensive gym in Vegas. Other gyms don't even consider Lifetime to be a gym but a country club. At this price - you would think you are getting something special - not so much. Granted it is a nice gym-but interior looks the same as it did in other Lifetime gyms 20 years ago. Equipment is all right, but broken equipment is not fixed or replaced in timely fashion. On any given morning you will fight to be able to find available treadmill and coming in off peak hours became my norm. I tried taking tennis lessons which are additional on top of $400+ per month but staff was less than enthusiastic with my schedule of one session per week pay as I go, instead of buying thousands of dollars of lessons at once - so they stopped scheduling me and returning phone calls. Out of town guests cannot come visit with you, more than once per month. I had visitors from overseas staying with me for a week but it was impossible to find compromise which wouldn't break a bank. Billing is also a problem. My wife put membership on hold due to foot surgery only to find out they increased our membership $70+ per month after unfreezing. Getting someone from membership to address this issue took 2 months and they only refunded a portion. I called probably 15 times and every time I was in club I was told nobody was available to discuss this in person. Ultimately I decided to cancel membership, and they were happy to see me go. Stationary bikes for cycling classes are easily 20 years old, and classes during the week were blah. Weekend classes were good. Lifetime was an interesting concept until it priced itself out of market. Owned by private equity group, it has cash first customer service later concept. I vote down on this strategy with my membership cancelation. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Lifetime Green Valley today. The gym apparently lost water service, which I understand can happen and is outside their control. However, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. I only had 10 minutes of cardio left, and instead of communicating with members respectfully or giving us a few minutes to finish, the staff rushed everyone out in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Customer service is just as important as the facilities. Emergencies happen, but treating paying members with respect should always be a priority. Unfortunately, today's experience made me feel like customers were an inconvenience rather than valued members. read more

I highly recommend Life Time as is a one stop location that accommodates all levels of fitness, wellness, spa services, business center, resort style pool and healthy cafe. I like to recognize employees who go above and beyond. A young man named Spencer was attentive, kind and extremely helpful. I had made a comment that I needed more pads as it was hurting my leg and he overheard and retrieved more pads without me even asking. My daughter got a black eye within the first 4 days of joining and I didn't even get a call to let me know my baby was hurt. I signed up for a dynamic stretch free trial session and the instructor I got injured my arm by "showing me some martial arts move" and proceeded to completely twist my arm. I woke up in excruciating pain and could not extend my arm, I texted the instructor right away and asked if this was normal. I didn't even get a response. Extremely unprofessional. I signed up for the free aquatics trial for my kids and was told IT WAS FREE IF I CANCELED BEFORE MY TRIAL ENDED WHICH I DID AND I STILL GOT A CHARGE OF $66 to my credit card! I don't like being lied to. Another main reason I signed up was for the gymnastics class for my daughter but every time I'd sign her up I'd get a notification to my phone that they canceled her reservation and they just keep all these kids in the play room and they never get to do the classes I'd sign them up for. This all happened within a week of joining. I went the first 5 days but once my daughter got a black eye I never went back. So I basically paid OVER $500 to only go 4 days and both me and my daughter got hurt. I called and spoke to the general manager Jason asking if I could get a credit for the time I wasn't able to go because his staff injured me and I wasn't not able to work out, he said he would call me back the next day. Mid day I call and ask for an update but it seems that he is ALWAYS in a meeting. They said he'd call back once he was out of the meeting and never did. Again extremely unprofessional. But when I called corporate he sure did call within 5 minutes. Safe to say I will be canceling my membership and taking my money elsewhere. read more

I've been coming for I think over two months maybe 3 and will say my family really enjoys it. The kids academy is great the staff is nice and patient with my baby considering she's a toddler and doesn't go to daycare. After a few visits she loves it and was reported to me making friends. They offer swim classes for kiddos but it's extra I think it's worth it though and comparable to other places I looked. The facility is nice. Easy to park they do a lot of community events which are cool. They also Have classes for your kiddos I have not done any yet bc she declined and wanted to play Instead lol. The pool is nice but it was annoying that in October kids aren't allowed in The evening time. I think that's kind of dumb here considering it was still 80 degrees. Also for how much I'm paying for my family of 3, the mats that they have that you can use In The classes smell of BO. These need to be cleaned better and deodorized or replaced more frequently. The locker room are cool and i like that they have the family one with privacy showers and changing rooms. The staff are friendly enough although when I had problems initially setting up the app they couldn't help me and I had to cal corporate to fix it. They did say you can call to schedule the classes if the app fails and the kids academy. Also super nice that you have to schedule to prevent over crowding. The Pilate teacher was super nice but considering there are other Pilates clubs for cheaper monthly prices the classes with the reformer are not worth it. They need t lower the price or just make a flat add on. The yoga instructors are great. I wish they had actual hot yoga but it's like warmed. I haven't made it to the cross for classes but from what I've observed in passing the seem encouraging and patient. The recovery room is a cool concept but being open til 5 or 6 is not great considering it's Vegas's. Wish it was open later. read more

I've been a member since 2018, currently paying $370 for two memberships. If I want access to the massage chairs, it's another $80 per month and you even need a reservation just to use them. When I've visited other locations in Arizona, they felt much more upgraded, with massage chairs and other amenities available right on the floor for free use. I'm really hoping the new Durango location will be an improvement. Honestly, if another gym opened up that could truly compare to Lifetime, I'd switch immediately. Which contributes to the dirtiness. It's hard to get on a bench, even during the day. Tons of groups of teenagers. Dumbbell area is extremely small and cannot cater to the crowds. There is also no other mirrored workout areas other than the small dumbbell area which contributes to the crowds around the dumbbells. I can't picture myself staying around if the crowds and dirt aren't addressed. There are other better luxury gyms worth driving a bit further away to. read more

We absolutely love this place. We just joined a month ago. It was $300 for my wife, $100 for me, and $70 for our 4-year-old for a total of $470 for the family and we thought it was a great deal! We are here almost every day because our son loves to swim in the pool. At a time when every other gym is closing their pools due to not wanting to pay for lifeguards, LifeTime always has enough for us to feel safe both in their inside pool and outside pool. The Saturday Parent's Nights are worth it alone! Just about every Saturday we drop our son off for 3 hours so we can go have a date night nearby. At $20 an hour for a babysitter, that's $240 a month we put towards... other spending at the gym, lol. We probably spend an extra $200 a month here on food, snacks, drinks, etc. but it's comparable to what we get at FoodieFit and super convenient. Money we were spending on meals anyways. Plus, an extra $100 a month for our son's swim lessons, but that was comparable to what we were paying at AquaTots. The Tennis/Pickleball area is cool, and the employees are super friendly and helpful. Coming here has become the default for our family every afternoon when previously it was sitting on the couch. We're very happy LifeTime members and recommend it to all of our friends. read more

Honestly, unless you NEED the child care there are much better options for everything you're looking for. It's not a serious gym and it's not a country club, but its pricing would make you think it is. Over $400 a month for a family of 3 and that's not including classes that are extra over and above that or court rentals. The childcare is great though. You can check them in for hours each day and there is a "Parents Night Out" on weekends that the kids really enjoy. Teachers are nice and the kids seem to be a little less problematic than average. If you have kids and need to take them with you to workout it's worth it, and really the only good option in town. Now, if you're not going to use the child care, skip this place and find a much better gym for the specific fitness that you're after. This gym dabbles in many things, but isn't great at any one of them and the pricing is simply absurd and rising constantly. read more

We have a family membership here and it is a fantastic investment, especially for those with children. The facilities are clean, the equipment is up to date and there is something for everyone in terms of work out goals. The patrons on the workout floor in general seem to follow the gym etiquette of wiping down equipment after use, putting equipment back to its rightful place and not hogging equipment. The signature membership offers array of classes to fit many schedules. My favorite has been surrender yoga but there are so many different classes to choose from each tailored for specific proficiency level allowing the individual to decide for themselves if it's the right fit at the time. The kids club has an array of programs tailored for children (while parents go work out). The process is secure and the child is not released until scanned out with number of factors having to match for added layer of security. Kids club is split among infants, toddlers and kids in certain age range. Based on their tier they are then involved in age appropriate activity or class. My son and daughter have both partook in arts and crafts, ninja warrior tips class and my daughter did cheer on days it was offered. It feels like an enriching experience for the kids instead of dropping them off where someone just watches them while you rush a work out in. Their locker rooms are great and also have a family locker room that comes in handy when we all go in to get our daughter ready for swim lessons and get ready for pool time afterwards. They offer all access summer pass (at an additional one time fee) to the outdoor pools which include canopy chairs (basically everything but the roped off cabanas which require reservation and a minimum food/beverage spend). The pool area beats most of the strip ones in my opinion. They also have a roped off 21+ area with beds and a cafe that serves adult beverages as well. They have tennis courts, basketball courts, lap pools, spa and salon, and pretty much everything one could want from a country club style gym. It's great being able to get a work out in or do a class then follow it up by a day at the pool with the family. I definitely would suggest looking into it. read more

My wife and I joined the first year they opened and now we just quit. We loved it at first, but things got steadily worse each year.... 1. Too expensive now, They sell it like you're joining a country club, but they nickel and dime you for everything. It's just an upscale lvac or eos with a few add ons. 2. Service and quality have majorly gone downhill. THIS!!! 3. Indoor tennis facility is nice. Outdoor pool was nice but it's constantly dirty now and has been run into the ground. This was a major reason we stayed here over the years. Equipment isn't maintained and replaced. The food is now terrible. Inconsistent policies and service. 4. The workout area seems big, but the personal training area takes up too much space. Free weight area gets overcrowded with just 10 people. 4. Like yoga? Well it's not studio yoga. Still just gym yoga which is next to their loud, indoor basketball court. When you see the price go up every year and service and quality of everything go down, (you'd think things would be improved or at the very least maintained to og standards), it's time to leave. There are no other upscale options nearby which is probably why things have gone south here. They have the no competition and people want better options these days. Ironically, The place is now too crowded so they couldn't care less with feedback, so don't bother. I've been a member for approximately 4 years and this place has really gone downhill since I signed on. Initially I was promised that I'd be locked in at the rates I agreed to and that rate increases would not affect me. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. They seem to nickel and dime existing members with all of the extra fees. I really don't understand the added pool fee for the summer and increased monthly dues when they've reduced hours and constantly are "temporarily closing" amenities. In the month of May alone, they issued 4 notifications of closures throughout the facility. Front desk personnel are so inattentive that they let a thief use my credentials to enter the facilities multiple times in one day. I caught them as they were using my credentials and notified the front desk as the person was scanning my credentials in front of us and they did nothing. Clearly they do not value safety at this location. Theft is another huge concern of mine which makes me not want to come back. read more

Every time I come in and they have had the kids play room set up on one side you always find trash and marbles and other kiddy stuff on the ground for weeks after and as I said before the floors are disgusting in there you can't play a game without leaving with your hands being covered in a black coating , so I can only imagine what's all over the kids after they run around playing on that same floor . read more
