Called ahead to order to avoid waiting. This spot fits the hole in the wall description. Limited seating inside the restaurant. But their chicken, ribs, rice and the green sauce were delightful. The chicken was juicy and grilled to perfection. The ribs were super tender, ready to fall off the bone. Their green sauce was light and had a slight heat to it. Paired well with corn and rice. This takeout spot always serves delicious food! This is my go-to shop when I am craving grilled chicken or barbecue ribs along with delectable side dishes. The chicken is so tender and the skin and marinade are perfection! The barbecue ribs are really good as well. The green sauce is an incredible complement to their meat and side dishes and pita bread is offered alongside every meal. I have tried all of their side dishes and they are great with a homemade quality to them. The only drawback is how busy they can get during peak hours. There can sometimes be long lines, extended wait times and they often run out of chicken or side dishes. Regardless, I highly recommend this hole in the wall chicken joint. Chicken Lovers is One of my family's take-out order spots. We order the same food over and over. Whether for a big party or our family's dinner. We get the full ribs with two side dishes. The yellow rice is the perfect pair with the tender and juicy meat. My kids love it. My favorite is the green spicy sauce. We drive the extra mile to pick it up. I love it with the green sauce. Oh my laaawd the epic green sauce. I don't know where I've had this sauce before but what I will say it is that it's nostalgic and delicious at the same time. I order the Combo with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 rib with two sides + drink for a total of $30.50. The Chicken was just a little bit dry but it was very flavorful. The ribs were very soft and juicy and easily came off the bone. It also came with two green sauce and a pita bread. It definitely feeds more than 2 and very affordable. I ordered the rice and corn as my sides and it tasted pretty good with everything together. I would recommend ordering ahead online or call so you don't have to wait when picking up. Still an excellent place but just an FYI the wait has become ridiculously long (1.5 -2 hrs) even during "off hours." It's because the food is delicious and the prices are unbeatable. But it's still annoying when the online order estimates 55 min wait and you get there only to wait another 45 min. Also there's absolutely no social distancing. I also occasionally get roasted potatoes and cucumber salad as a side. Total for a 1/4th rack is around 12 dollars. It used to be 11 dollars pre-COVID, but it is still a good deal! I personally do not eat that much, but I know that 1/4th rack is more than enough for a single meal for most people. I always get two meals out of one. The picture I posted is the aftermath of eating lunch (I know I could have taken one beforehand, but I was hungry ok!). I ate about half the rice, half the corn, and three ribs, and I was stuffed. The ribs are tender after being grilled and flavored with a barbecue sauce. The green sauce that comes with food is also delicious. I can't describe what flavor it is exactly but trust me. Their rice is addictive and has a couple bay leaves in it. The corn is corn not sure what else to say about that. When I order I usually get their ribs and half a chicken. Their ribs are sooooo flavorful and the meat just falls right off the bone. The chicken is also super delicious and grilled very well and both of these proteins go perfectly with their tasty green sauce. As for sides we've tried their corn, potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice and Mac and cheese. They were all good but I would have to say my favorite were their potatoes. I haven't been to this spot in awhile. I was in the area and decided to stop by for lunch. It was crowded when I arrived but the lines moved quickly. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo with sweet potatoes and broccoli. I noticed their phones rang non stop. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my food. There are several places for you to sit and eat. The staff seemed friendly and I heard one of the ladies telling another customer to call his order in first and then pick up because it was faster. Great stuff when dipped in green sauce - Corn - sweet, but a little too chewy/ rubbery feel - Potatoes - salty flavorful potato pieces - Cucumber salad - with vinegar and sugar. I like this side dish - Pita bread - came with 2 - Hot wings (10 for $7.99, 16 for $11.99) - salty, flavorful. Came out in 15 minutes, can request to have this come out faster while you wait for the rest of your order Def drink a lot of water after your salty meal bc you will be feeling the thirst.
