Already started eating it was so good. Clockwise from top left: Lamb Chops (there were 4), Chicken Kebab, Moussaka, and Iskender Kebab

Whenever I'm home, I try to get Chicken Kebab at least twice. This family-run restaurant is my go-to spot for Turkish food in the area! Every meal here has been absolutely delicious, and I often laugh when I see how much my family has ordered as I carry a giant box of food back to my car. Our personal favorites are the Moussaka and Iskender Kebab. Both dishes are so flavorful, and one thing in particular that I like about the Iskender Kebab is how the pita underneath remains chewy and not soggy. We often get the Chicken Kebab, Doner Kebab, and/or Lamb Chops too, and you can tell that the meats are fresh off-the-grill as they remain very juicy even after some time in the car ride home. Their Greek Salad and Chicken Lemon Soup make for some great sides, and even down to their rice, the restaurant puts so much care into everything they make. Recently, their special dessert has been a Turkish apple pie/cookie (I should have asked the name but I think it's Elmali Kurabiye?) and wow--it could be the best apple pastry I've ever had! Seriously, if they have it in-stock you should try it. The pastry is so flaky and the apple filling is smooth and delicately sweet. Their baklava is a hit as well. I highly recommend coming to Chicken Kebab!

Totally done with this place, it's fallen off a cliff since the pandemic. I always felt like the owners where shifty, now they have no posted prices. Lol even the menu they have on the counter has the prices redacted. I paid 29 dollars for a chicken gyro platter and a bowl of soup. Which would be fine if the food was good. The chicken gyro isn't even real meat. It's some frozen crap that was barely cooked. The salad had all kinds of brown lettuce in it and they gave me some stale brown bread instead of a pita ? How do you not have pita bread ?

Lunch special. Chicken, baba ganoush, falafel, hummus. Also came with soup.

Very sad to see that you're closed! The food here was amazing. Good luck to the wonderful family that owned it. Please invite me to dinner!

The service is very attentive. Right when we sat down the host gave us water which was nice. The waiter was a little too attentive, kept coming up to us to ask if we were ready to order when we were not, and just kept coming and coming every two minutes. They give complimentary flat bread which is tasty. Our Persian friend mentioned usually Persian restaurants give the bread with herbs and feta rather than just plain. We did find on the menu the herbs and feta was an extra cost. We had the kebab combo and subbed cherry rice and salad (which is cucumbers and tomatoes) and also exchanged the ground chicken kebab for a chicken breast kebab. The standout was the steak kebab and the cherry rice. There were so many cherries in the rice, and it was both sweet and savory. I couldn't stop eating it. The steak was super juicy and well seasoned. I also really like the roasted tomato on the side, basil and pickled cabbage. We ordered a stew, think it was Ghormeh sabzi. It had a bunch of herbs in it, and beans and a dried lime. Was told not to eat the lime. It was a very strong and rich stew, I took a couple of bites. Don't think I could have eaten the whole thing. It's very strong. It's our friend's favorite Persian dish and she loved it. There was one dish we wanted that they ran out of but they gave us a couple of dollars off the bill which was nice. The kebab platter came with koobideh, barg and chicken with subbed the white rice for cherry rice which turned out to be the star of the show. Even as a Persian, I have never had that rice before.Somehow, and it quickly became delicious. And I immediately text my mom and asked her why she had never made it for me lol We also got ghormeh sabzi which as I told my friends can be hit or miss in flavor and if they would actually like a stew like this. They both actually enjoyed it, and I thought it was pretty close to my mom's recipe. The only sad thing was that we ordered tahdig but the table next to us had ordered 2 large plates and they had no more, which was odd given it was only 1pm and the restaurant opens at 11am. Overall good experience, love that they played Persian music to give it a real deal feel. Will be back!

I tend to like my octopus on the crispy side with grill marks. The two platter entres were both delicious and large portions. Waiters took our orders quick but once the food came? We had to ask twice for more Sangak Bread since we ordered 3 different hummus. She was holding a plate that I assume was my stew and I said that's mines and she automatically said no it's not mines...hmm ok my fault...yet turns out it was mines...she wasn't the person who took my order yet assumed it wasn't mines nor asked "did you order Gheymeh Bademjoon?" I found that off putting but shrugged it off, maybe I was just starving from not enough bread for all that hummus which was freaken delicious. We had a few main entrees and everything was tasty and def authentic with all those unique flavors. I did put the hummus over my rice for extra flavor, didn't want to toss them out. Overall it's a good spot, one of a kind of flavors you don't have often. My group left full but not exactly satisfied? Oh it's also a BYOB place. Not sure I would go back though.

No place in the US is as good as true Italian, until this place. This is authentically Italian in the best way. The food is all fresh, farm to table. We placed a $330 takeout order and were given a pickup time. When I arrived, the place was about 70% full and completely chaotic. You could feel it right away. A young server, clearly his first day, was trying his best, but there wasn't enough support. The owner was yelling at him and another waitress instead of managing the situation. Customers were getting up and leaving, others were frustrated and waiting with no direction. This wasn't a staffing issue alone, it was a leadership issue. No organization, no control of the front end, and blame being pushed onto employees instead of stepping in and running the room. We ended up waiting an hour and a half past the promised pickup time. When the food finally came out, I asked if everything was there, and got a quick, dismissive "yes." Got home and realized nearly half the order was missing. Called multiple times, no answer. I don't write reviews like this, but this was easily the worst takeout experience we've had anywhere. And judging by what I saw, we weren't the only ones. It's a shame, because the food has been good. But if they don't fix how this place is run, they're going to lose customers fast.
