We stopped by after having to go someplace early as we did not have time for breakfast at home before we left. The location has changed a lot over the years. You still make your own coffee. Great coffee and I'm not much of a coffee drinker. They make specialty drinks themselves. More options of food. The sandwiches are really good and very filling. There's a place to sit at tables. Very friendly staff. We can't believe we've missed out all these years. We will be going more often.

And this was the main reason I wanted to try this place. They were really good! A "drop biscuit" IS different than a regular buttermilk style biscuit and I had never had them before in this context, but while it WAS different than what I was hoping for, it was delicious! Basically if you're expecting traditional biscuits and gravy, this isn't it BUT it is probably the closest I've had to that in New England and definitely worth trying if you're debating. The house potatoes were delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the poached egg was perfectly cooked! Zero complaints. Good prices too. My boyfriend and I got an app of maple bourbon bacon to share, it was good but the price of that was a little high to me. He enjoyed everything he ordered as well! 9.5/10 would recommend! Besides lunch and tea, they sell coffee drinks, bottled sodas (Mexican coke) and pastries. Their shelves offer beautiful tea pots, demi tasse sets, cook books and more for sale. We ordered a sandwich and a savory crepe. The sandwich is a good size on soft bread that held up well under all the fillings. Sandwiches come with potato chips on the side. The crepe was full of tender beef and large slices of mushroom in a savory gravy. A fresh salad of mixed greens comes with your choice of dressing on the side. The decor is very intentional and well done. Our waitress was very friendly and knew her job well. One restroom at the back includes a diaper station. Parking is in one of the town paid lots. All the workers are very friendly and happy to answer questions. I especially liked that you can get bakery items heated up (definitely do this for the cinnamon rolls!) There is a ton of seating and it's never hard to find a table. There are tables for groups of all sizes and very comfortable booths. Stepping inside the owner greeted us right away and we had a fantastic conversation starting due to my sweatshirt of First Mile Brewing in Fort Kent. Her husband was from that area and she lived there for a while. Very welcoming and friendly and answered our questions about the best lattes they had. We ended up deciding on getting the blueberry muffin latte and banana bread latte. After ordering we watched the drinks be made and I think the key to how delicious they were was from the flavored milks she used. Both drinks packed such a big amount of flavor. While this cannot be a daily coffee shop for us due to distance but I want to return here to have the same drink again or try something new! By far a new favorite coffee shop for us! We already had breakfast but they do have some food offerings, maybe next visit we can try them, but the drinks are worth the trip! Such a friendly and welcoming owner using high quality and local ingredients like the flavored milk. If you love speciality lattes this is a must try!

You order at the counter and they bring it out. The woman we spoke to was friendly and accommodating as we made our choices. But the food was what truly makes this an outstanding experience. Just an egg and cheese on an English muffin and it was delicious. We also got a banana caramel crepe and I got a coconut limeade. The portions were great, the food was super tasty, and we half considered getting crepes to take home to Boston. I wish we had. I would consider driving up to Exeter just to go back to this gem.
