Juniper Kitchen - Juniper Kitchen's spacious seating area - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

My fiance and I stopped by after a morning photo since he had been craving an acai bowl all week. Juniper Kitchen hit the spot! The bowl was massive, and I was extra hungry so we got the breakfast burrito to share. We are not usually plant based, but the burrito was delicious and so flavorful. We loved that they also have a few decks of cards! There's 3 little tables that can seat 2-3, and then a lil bar that seats 4. Metered parking can be found on the street or in the parking lot across the street/behind the bank lot. read more

I was greeted warmly and oriented to the menu on any new thing i was not familiar with. The place is picturesque and love the in-town painter who made the mural on the wall (cannot be missed). Loaded homefries and super berry smoothie were delicious! Smaller portions than I expected but was full in a "just-right" manner. read more

As a vegan, this place is my heaven!!! My boyfriend got the "pulled pork" and we haven't stopped craving it since having it! He said it's better than any pulled pork he's ever had. The A-BLT was sooo good as well! And all the food was perfectly accompanied by perfect lattes, and a peaceful ambiance! Will definitely be back! read more

Went into roots a few days ago. The prices were average but the quality was top tier. The ingredients were fresh, serving size was great, and the staff was so kind. The setting was so cute as well, with plants and dimmed lighting. I had an amazing experience and will be hitting up roots often! read more

My sister thought this might be a good option for me the vegan and my niece the picky eater... it was an outstanding choice ! Everyone enjoyed their food greatly . I had the winter Dijon pomme special, the house made cashew cheese made me want to cry it was so good. My niece had the blue majik bowl and now her mom is having to commit to smoothie bowls from now on. I think anyone would be able to find something yummy here . Everyone working was so kind and service was quick 10/10 ! read more

Food and shakes are good but Getting an iced coffee here is beyond a waste of money. For 6.50 You get a 12 ounce cup filled with ice.. then they use a ridiculous amount of cream if you don't mention go light. I wouldn't doubt it if it's half cream half coffee... HEY OWNER change this because we all know you're not buying the highest quality stuff, ur employees told me you buy normal ass coffee. it's coffee for almost 7 dollars, that's wild... read more

Really fantastic food! The bean burger is amazing and so is the it's a BLT, such great flavors!

I travel for a living, all over this great country. I try finding a plant-based green bowl at numerous smoothie establishments,, and frankly, they all suck! Roots, Vegan Café, and Juice Bar is clearly the best experience you'll ever have. Betsy has created an incredible recipe, that rivals any other place nationwide. Can't wait for my Greenie Bowl! read more

Amazing acai bowl! So big and the toppings tasted very fresh. I recently got my boyfriend into eating some and he loved his. I got the green one and what I really loved about it is that it didn't taste like grass. It tasted fresh and fruity :) only giving it 4 stars is because I've wanted to go here for so long but they weren't open read more

Love the bean burger. Got a hash brown in it for some extra yum! Spicy sauce was great and loved the fresh bun. It's a keeper.

UPDATED REVIEW** Roots has changed a lot since the first times they have opened. I've come back with my boyfriend about 5-6 times since then, and he comes much more often than I do. We both agreed that they are a lot more consistent in their drinks, and have really enjoyed the smoothies every time we've gone. This is probably going to be a usual from now on. I went and got the Sweet green, and it is so delicious. Tastes more like a treat yet has great ingredient inside. I'm all for this place! Prices are a little high but what do you expect from non commercial juicery/smoothie places now a days.. worth it! I recommend -- sweet green --- if you're looking for a tasteful green smoothie. the Texture of the smoothie itself is really nice, and I think they do a really great job at making smoothies with ingredients that work and taste really well together. Also the berry smoothie they have is really good too, it's sweet and sour and has little coconut pieces in it. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! The girl behind the counter is always sweet and the blueberry muffin smoothies are MY FAVORITE! Highly recommend!

Great smoothies and juices, and their breakfast bowls are delicious/healthy/filling. An amazing option for a quick, pick me up- or a place to sit down for a meal. I haven't tried the sandwiches or wraps, but they also look great! read more

Genuinely the best cake I've ever had. I have always enjoyed the food here but I recently tried their double chocolate cake with strawberry frosting and the only word to describe it is perfection. I've never been a big cake person but I'm excited to try more of their flavours. read more

Varied. Healthy. Affordable. Great option for vegan smoothies, breakfast bowls, and smoothie bowls (think thick smoothie consumed with spoon) right off downtown Dover. Absolutely amazing variety of options covering the gamut of chocolate to almond butter to fruits, veggies, and everything in between. Friendly service and most impressive a very affordable alternative to the mall variety $15 cheap sugar smoothies you need a shot of insulin to process. Interior seating is minimalist so stick to small groups or takeout. read more

Every time I've eaten at or ordered from Roots has been a delight. I am constantly looking forward to the days when I can enjoy a Sunny Sandwich, a slice of Roots chocolate cake, or a yummy cold brew. Pre-COVID I loved sitting in the cozy cafe and looking at all of the stickers, patches and other fun items inside. Now, and since the pandemic began, I've felt the utmost confidence in Roots to operate in a way that protects their employees as well as their customers. I'm so happy that Roots has continued to offer the same level service and the same delicious recipes (and more!!!) since implementing precautions that make me feel safe continuing to order. The owner is extremely thoughtful and always looking to make a special experience for her customers. Not only has Roots continued to be open for takeout (and now delivery), they have offered specials for certain holidays - Thanksgiving meals, Valentine's sweets - and have done online cooking classes and other informative videos for the community. The online ordering process is great, allowing customers to pre-order for contactless pickup. Don't forget to tip! I'm amazed at how much this little business does, all the while making sure to have an impact on their community. Plus, there is literally no better place to go for a vegan/gf breakfast sandwich (the sunny). It's heavenly. read more

Amazing, fresh, wholesome food! The menu is eclectic, yet so interesting. Everything is made to order and the service is spot on. The atmosphere has a funky, yet welcoming feel. Very clean, with little touches of intimacy from the wall art, to the table settings and window display. There's even a little gift section with the coolest items. Ask Kaley to make you something special and she will whip up something that will blow you away! Yum! read more

I ordered the spicy bowl which had buffalo flavored tofu, avocado, brown rice, black beans, corn, peppers, spinach. And a creamy spicy dressing. Well I have found another healthy, yummy vegan spot on my life of travels . This place has RE OPENED Under NEW Management! Love it! I had the chickpea veggie salad, a mango green smoothie, a bit of cashew cream spread and her nutty bread. Oh and coffee with her almond milk. The salad dressing made the salad come together. Lots of love went into the food! You must try !!! read more

I was in the area and thought I'd check it out. Not sure if it's organic or not (guessing not) but I didn't really mind. I avoid oxalates (raw spinach and raw kale) and they were more than happy to oblige. Overall a very pleasant experience. I will return as often as I can.
