    Crawfish roll
    Hui L.

I've had a few orders from here before and can't believe I forgot to review them! I think within the New World mall food court scene, their menu is an absolute steal with half the menu being under $10. Very affordable. The crawfish chicken roll was pretty okay, the meats were kind of cold but I think it depends on who's making it. Good value for the amount of chicken pieces and crawfish they give you. Their fried chicken was very crispy with a thin batter and the meat was quite juicy. The mango lemonade wasn't too sweet (cost $1 extra). We got the combo meal which came with a chicken burger, chicken thigh (could also choose fries) and a drink for under $10! In this economy? The prices really can't be beat, this is a solid choice in New World mall food court.

It's a little booth all the way in the corner towards the back of New World Mall Food Court, conveniently located by the 7 train. If you're ever in the Flushing neighborhood and craving for something delicious, I think you should check out Chick Rocks in Flushing since that's their original location btw. Their Crawfish Grilled Chicken Roll tastes fresh--flavorful grilled chicken packed with little pieces of seasoned crawfish....all wrapped up in a warm, buttery, toasty roll. The flavors are simply right, with just enough spice, and the sauce ties everything together beautifully....although I would prefer it to have less spicy mayo mixed in so it doesn't cover the fresh taste of the crawfish. Every bite is loaded with satisfying flavors. The portion size is decent for $9.95 as a snack, or enjoy it in a combo meal to get your money's worth. Additionally, all chicken sandwiches, wraps, and rolls can be substituted in any combo meal. Quick service from friendly staff, making the whole experience even better. They accept both cash and card, there's even a kiosk to order food for convenience. Then, staff will call out the # on your receipt so don't stand/sit too far away when it's your turn for food pickup. Whether you're a seafood lover or just want to try something different, this roll is a pretty good option. The food court can get busy, but it's worth the 10-min wait because they make it fresh for customers. Chick Rocks definitely delivers to its name--and I'll be coming back for more especially the spaghetti & other fried chicken combos next time.

You really can't go wrong with a Chinese chicken sandwich. Located in the basement of New World Mall food court, the Chinese chicken burger comes with the right amount of crunch, sauce, and juice! But I would honestly say their fries really stole the show! Perfect crisp, seasoning, and temperature. This is a good easy spot to go to if you're feeling fried chicken.

Very unsuspecting to find a fried chicken spot hidden in a food court in Flushing. And I mean super tucked away, like far corner tucked away. The staff members are super friendly and the menu items are super affordable, especially if you get one of their combos. I got their Spicy Chicken Wings with Seasoned Fries. They had a lot of different sauces and got to try all of them. The Spicy Mayo was my favorite and the Wasabi Mayo was the most unique one. The wings were nice a crispy and good flavoring for spicy. The most underrated item on this menu is the Crabmeat Grilled Chicken Sandwich. This was really delicious and would come back to get this. I also tried the Creamy Chicken Spaghetti and this is something I would pass on.

Chick Rocks is located inside the New World Mall Food Court. Today, I decided to stop by during my lunch break. I signed up for the promotional deal to get a discount on my next visit. I ordered the #8 Crawfish Grilled Chicken based on Jacky's recommendation. I waited less than 15 minutes for my order to be ready. Finally, the cashier called out my #34. Food #8 Crawfish Grilled Chicken - The crawfish and grilled chicken roll were tasty. One word: Scrumptious Bookmark this spot to try!

This was located in the food court of new world mall with lots of other food options and seats all over. The area is generally pretty clean. Food came out fairly quickly. We got the set of 6 piece chicken with 2 soda, and a side of fries with mashed potato. All together was around $20 soda pretty worth. I liked that we can choose half spicy and half original. Both are very crispy and chicken isn't dry, I feel like the spicy one is more seasoned than the original, prefer the spicy. It does got a good kick to it so may not be good for people who cannot handle too much spice.

One of my favorite fried chicken places in NYC. It's surprisingly not oily at all. After consuming I feel like I didn't even need to wash my hands since it was so little grease. on them. Very crispy on the outside with a juicy inside. Great flavoring, and the sandwich was one of the better fried chicken sandwiches I have had with a nice balance of tomato and lettuce on it.

Service is impeccable here... from their warm greetings and attention to detail! They make sure that everything you receive is fresh from their fried chicken to their sparkling fruit beverages. Like someone said in a previous review, it's best to have everything on the spot and fresh like they intend you to eat it. I ordered their Mix Combo for 2 and received a spicy chicken sandwich, grilled chicken & crawfish sandwich, fries, a box of wings, and two sparkling fruit beverages (passionfruit and kumquat lemon). ALL UNDER $25. CHEAP IN THIS ECONOMY. LOL. In addition to the combo, I got the fried butterfly shrimp and 4 PC spicy chicken wings. If you find me on Instagram, you'll see what I mean when I say the chicken is fresh... like it's steaming... it's crispy... it's amazing. What makes it even better is when you dip their chicken in their homemade wasabi mayo sauce. They have other sauce options but this was my absolute favorite so I'm going to talk it up and tell you to get a lot of it. Lol. It was even good to pair with the fried shrimp. The grilled chicken and crawfish sandwich is drenched in their special sauce... and to add to the greatness of this sandwich, the bun is buttery and toasted. What more could you truly ask for? My only tip for you is to make sure you eat the sandwich in it's little tray because you might lose a piece of chicken or crawfish and you surely don't want that. Lol. One more thing... the spice levels of the spicy chicken wings and spicy chicken sandwich were on point. It wasn't too spicy where it would have left me with heartburn... But it had just enough kick in it for me to enjoy since I love spicy! Definitely a stall in New World Mall that you can't miss out on!!!! It gets busy so make sure you get there as soon as you can. :)

Chick Rocks has super crispy and delicious chicken menu items for cheap! I knew I had to try the crawfish sandwich, and it was biiiig and stuffed for $9! The cashier was super kind and helpful! It's inside the New World Mall food court so it can be a little loud but still lots of seating. what we ordered: crawfish grilled chicken $9 rocks cheese burger $10.95 spicy chicken wings 4pc $5.95  seasoned fries large $6.45  strawberry lemonade large $4.95 boba milk tea large $5.95 chicken box 5pc $9.95 Fries are crispy and well seasoned! The spicy mayo and wasabi dipping sauces are soooo good! Creamy and flavorful. Crawfish sandwich has a soft toasted bun with a creamy sauce and stuffed with crawfish and chicken. Only $9! Rocks sandwich was good! It's the classic burger but with bacon and eggs Wings and chicken set are crispy and juicy! Wings has more peppery flavor than the fried chicken box, I prefer the fried chicken box. Drinks are good! Got the milk tea boba and strawberry lemonade. Milk tea had some brown sugar flavor which was nice. For their combo meals you can upgrade the drink for just $1 more!

Honestly I think they had a bit of an off day at the time of writing this review but I'd still like to give an honest review based on my experiences. First and foremost the service here is really good and they were super nice to me and my friends, I greatly appreciated that. The food itself at Chick Rocks is difficult to describe because I feel like our chicken was rather inconsistent so we're going to start with the sides before I explain it. We weren't a big fan of the mashed potatoes as they were a little bland, I personally didn't mind it that much but it did feel a bit under seasoned, the fries were really good absolutely above average I'd get them again, the shrimp was rather bland don't think I'd get it again. Our drinks (we got the mango ones) were good when mixed I really would suggest mixing them. Now on to the chicken. This is the rather confusing part of my review as it just wasn't very consistent. We ordered a spicy box and it wasn't very spicy and was unevenly seasoned however each piece had its own thing in common which was that it was under salted or could use a bit of extra seasoning overall. I would describe Chick Rocks like this. Chick Rocks is a great alternative to getting Chicken in the Flushing area without having to worry about quality or price. I don't think there's a better alternative within walking distance. That being said I don't think it's the jollibee killer or whatever weird influencer thing that some of the reviews try to sell you it as. It's a fantastic stand alone place in a small stall that does a good job at what it's meant to do. I would 100% come here on a Thursday to take advantage of their deals and membership service (which was a really nice touch by the way). As always, please support this business it is worth giving them a chance to improve on the things I have mentioned and try it for yourselves.

Chick rocks located in new world mall is a new fast food restaurant with fresh food that has mouthwatering flavors. The crunch of the chicken was insane and very juicy. They have a variety of menu items. I had the crawfish & chicken curry pasta. It was bursting with flavor and covered in a yummy curry sauce. The then I moved onto the crawfish chicken roll which mimicked a lobster roll was very flavor and the roll was soft and buttery. The tartness of the lemonade was excellently balanced by the sweetness of the sugar. The strawberry lemonade was a vibrant twist to the lemonade. The cashier was very friendly and had great recommendations. If you're looking for food good affordable eats where there's abundant portions look no further. Stop by this chick spot in flushing queens located in new world mall. The food court was very clean with staff around keep everything tidy.

    Rock Spaghetti Mango Lemonade Mango

It's in the food court under new world mall. Fast service. Spaghetti was tasty with chunks of crawfish and chicken. Lemonade sweet and refreshing with the mango flavor. Chicken thigh was also very juicy and crispy. If you're looking for a quick bite come try it out.

I haven't tried their chicken yet which is why I can't give the full 5 stars, but this crawfish/chicken sandwich was delicious. It is made fresh so there was about a 10 minute wait but it was surely worth it. It's extremely well seasoned and there is plenty of crawfish. It reminded me of a lobster roll for only 9$.

We tried at least 6 of them and L doesn't really drink but took a sip from each of them. They're not really strong...I'm tiny and I wasn't close to drunk. I think I'd be full from all that liquid before I felt something. It's a nice bar but we left since the drinks weren't strong and had too many sweet ingredients in a lot of them so it didn't appeal to me. It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. Very accommodating and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience better overall.

Growing up in Vermont, I am a huge fan of cheese. I loved sharp cheddars so much, I would slice squares of it for a snack (until the block of cheese was half gone). This festival was a great way to try other cheeses. We checked in, and got 3 beans to vote for our favorites. Coat check was behind the check in table but we opted to start eating first. The first cheese we tried was Merrion Park, which made round balls of hard cheeses. They looked like gigantic truffles. They were fun to eat. One of my favorite was the Hudson Valley Truffle. It was so aromatic and soft and creamy. It was perfect! The Italian black truffles blended well with the creamy white cheese. Another amazing cheese was Beecher's flagship (aged cow's cheese) and flagsheep (aged sheep and cow's cheese). These aged cheeses were so savory and sweet with Tyrosine crystals. I love hard cheeses with a crunch. It was so amazing that I am salivating as I am typing this. The Beecher's fresh curds was soft and fresh. Tasted like a milky slightly-sharp-mozzarella. The dessert cheese was caramel mixed with cheese from Call me Caramel. This was amazing! Gruyere cheese caramels or Cheddar cheese caramels. They were sticky savory and sweet. It was so unique! Don Rodrigo Duarte served an amazing pata negra. This was a welcome break from all the cheeses. The jamon was savory and slightly sweet from the pig's diet. The slices melted in your mouth. They were generous enough to let some people slice their own prosciutto. It was so fun! There was a VIP room filled with prosciutto, salami and cheeses. There was a gooey baked brie pie. I loved this! The flakey buttery crust complemented the cheesy brie. The raspberry jam cut in the butteriness of this bite. Casa del Chef served a good gnocchi with cheese sauce.
